• Michelle Simonson Gets 90 Days

    Back in August Independence Township, Michigan middle school teacher 28-Year-Old Michelle Simonson was arrested and charged with Enticing a Minor for Immoral Purposes and Distributing Sexually Explicit Material to a Minor.

    Simonson was accused of having sent text messages to a 14-Year-Old student over the course of a year, some of them sexually explicit and included a topless photo of herself. The child was a former student of the special ed teacher. She asked him once to meet her outside of school but the boy told her no.

    The two never had physical contact with each other or any direct conversation that was inappropriate and once the messages started getting more and more explicit the child began to get uncomfortable and asked her to stop. After he informed his foster parents they contacted police and told them about the messages and the photo.

    Simonson ended up resigning from Sashabaw Middle School back in August after the allegations became public knowledge and pleaded guilty in October. She was sentenced earlier this week to 90 days in jail and five years of probation.

  • Updated – Alison Peck Pleads Guilty

    Earlier this year 23-Year-Old Alison M. Peck was arrested and charged with Statutory Rape and Sodomy in two different counties in Missouri as a result of her sexual relationship with a 16-Year-Old boy. At the time she was first arrested Peck was the band teacher at Greenfield High School.

    Back in December of 2008 the boy started sending text messages to Peck and then started meeting her at her home in Mt. Vernon. Shortly after her affair with boy began Peck filed for divorce from her husband.

    Alison was arrested again during the spring after she had two friends rent a hotel room so that she could meet up with her “boyfriend” since the authorities were watching her. She was charged again with Statutory Rape because of that.

    While Peck still faces sex charges in Dade and Lawrence counties (she’ll be in court Thursday for some of them) she pleaded guilty to statutory rape in Greene County and her case has been sent to probation officials.

    According to Alison Peck’s MySpace page (alicat05) she ‘can finally say im glad this is my reality’. WTF? She posted that just a couple of hours ago so I am assuming she’s talking about the probation.

    Updated 12/03/09 – Peck appeared in court in Lawrence County today for her preliminary hearing and perhaps not so surprising considering her last status update has decided to take ownership of her deeds and pleaded guilty to statutory rape and statutory sodomy. She received five years of probation on each of the charges and has to complete a sex offender treatment program. The probation is concurrent.

    Although she seems to be trying to get it all over and done with things may not be quite so smooth for the woman as the father of the victim has filed a civil suit against Peck for $1.9 Million plus legal fees. Motions on that case begin on December 16th.

    Updated 12/20/09 – Peck was sentenced in Dade County to five years of probation. She has also been ordered to pay a total of $275,000 in the civil motion filed by the father of her victim.

  • Francisco Barros-Gomes Accused of Raping a Child at JC Penney

    Earlier this week a mom took her young son to the JC Penney department store in Sturbridge, Massachusetts to buy him a couple of outfits.While the boy was in the dressing room trying on clothing 26-Year-Old Francisco Wellington Barros-Gomes, a sales clerk at the store, offered to bring the boy more clothing to try on.

    That’s when Barros-Gomes entered the dressing room and allegedly raped the boy. Police were called and Francisco was arrested and charged with Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14 and Rape of a Child With Force. He was arraigned in Dudley District Court and bond set at $25,000. A Not Guilty plea was entered for him and his lawyer says he can’t pay the $25,000 bond.

    Barros-Gomes, a native of Brazil who is married to an American and lives with her parents in Charleton, was ordered to surrender his passport.

  • Michael Monahan Locked His Kids in His Trunk

    Tuesday morning 35-Year-Old Michael Monahan stopped for a few minutes at a sailing shop in Fall River, Massachusetts. While he was inside he took care of his 3 and 6 year-old children by locking them in the trunk of his Pontiac Trans Am. That much of the story is’nt really being disputed. What is being disputed is why and if he endangered them.

    Police were called and Michael was arrested for Reckless Endangerment of a Child. He was booked into the local jail and was released on bond after he pleaded guilty at an arraignment Wednesday.

    According to Michael’s attorney his client loves his children, who love to play in the trunk. The children were released to the custody of their mother.

  • Kimberlee Arigot Sentenced to One Year for Having Sex With Teens

    Back in December of 2008 40-Year-Old Kimberlee (Kimberly) Williams Arigot was arrested and charged with Unlawful Sex With a Minor, Unlawful Sexual Conduct and Dealing Materials Harmful to a Minor. Police in Syracuse, Utah received a tip that a woman had been sending nude pictures of herself to a teenage boy and that’s what got the initial investigation going.

    Over a period of six months she was having sex with three boys ranging in age from 15-17 Years-Old. After being brought in for questioning Arigot admitted to her behavior to law enforcement.

    Back in October of this year Kimberlee was offered and accepted a plea deal that let her plead guilty to engaging in sex with the boys in exchange for dropping five felony counts of dealing material harmful to minors.

    Arigot has been sentenced to one year in jail and 36 months of probation. Had this been a man with three teenage girls how much time do you think he would have gotten? A damn site more than one year in jail, I can tell you that much.

  • Matthew Lang Arrested For Having Sex With a Student

    Police in Missouri have arrested 36-year-old Matthew Lang of Godfrey, the band teacher at Alton High School for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student. Lang has been charged with two counts of felony Sexual Assault and two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. According to police Lang had sex with the 16-year-old female student more than once during school hours.

    This is Lang’s first year at Alton High School, having taught previously at O’Fallon Township High School. I haven’t yet found out why he switched schools.

    Lang’s bond is currently set at $250,000 and is being held in the Madison County Jail in Edwardsville.

    The previous band director at Alton that Lang replace, David Drillinger, was fired after he was charged with inappropriately touching students. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery.

  • Rodell Vereen Violated More Than His Probation

    Back in 2007 50-year-old Rodell Vereen of Conway, SC was convicted for buggering a horse named Sugar at the Lazy B Stables. Bad enough to be jailed for being a horse fucker, but twice? With the same horse?

    Surveilance cameras caught someone doing the horse back on July 19th but Police weren’t able to identify the assailant. Barbara Kenley, who owns the horse and the stables, was pretty sure it had to be Vereen. She wanted to catch him red-handed and catch him she did.

    Kenley has been keeping her eyes open and this time she made sure to bring her shotgun. When she caught him literally in the act he claimed to be looking for the bathroom and then apologized, saying he didn’t mean to hurt her.

    Vereen has been charged with Buggery and Trespassing. He is already on South Carolina’s sex offender list and faces up to five years if he is convicted. He was already on probation when he pleaded guilty to buggery last year and now he has to sit in jail until he has a hearing on Monday to determine if he violated his probation.

  • Lauryn Last Drowned The Baby and Threw Him Away…

    Update – A trial date has been set and I’ve had a couple of comments the last few days so I thought it was time to update this post. The update is at the bottom of the post.
    I guess my son must have missed it during his high school years but it must be pretty hard to be a teenager these days Just take a look at 16-year-old Lauryn Louise Last (MySpace) from Port Angeles, Washington for example. What to do on a busy New Year’s Eve… Burn some meth, drown the baby, throw him in the garbage, dodge the gun-totin’ meth-head father go get high again. Actually I don’t really know if she was high or not but it certainly helps me feel better to think that she was high rather than just committing the heinous cold-blooded act when she was sober.
    I’m still not clear on how Law Enforcement got the information that led them to the Last household but am going on the assumption that somebody phoned in a tip to them.
    The authorities are claiming that Lauryn Last “put her baby face down into a toilet and allowed it to drown for several minutes until it died. Then she threw her son into a trash can outside in a plastic garbage bag” according to an affidavit filed on Monday.
    After combing through 60 tons of trash at a dump near Tacoma police found the body of the baby.

  • Robert Steiner Jr. Arrested for Kidnapping a 5-Year-Old

    Robert Steiner Jr. is currently sitting in jail, accused of the attempted kidnapping of a 5-year-old boy at the Pike Place Market in Seattle. According to Steiner the little boy grabbed his hand as he was walking by perhaps mistaking him for a friend. He also claims that he told the little boy to go to his mother when she called him. Witnesses, including the family, say different.

    The way the family tells it is that while they were distracted in the market, Steiner grabbed the boy’s hand and led him away from them. The parents freaked out, as parents do when a child is missing, and frantically called and looked for him. When the mother saw Steiner and the boy near a stairwell and screamed he let go of Steiner’s hand and ran to his mom while Steiner fled out of sight. A short time later a couple of bicycle cops spotted Steiner leaving a public bathroom and they stopped him.

    The family is trying to keep as much of their private life to themselves and keep the boy’s name off of the Internet, and released a statement yesterday:

    We, the parents of the little boy kidnapped at Pike Place Market on April 6th, have been repeatedly requested by the press to give an interview. We are truly grateful that the community of Seattle rejoices with us because we got our son back and finds comfort in the fact that the defendant is in custody, however, this situation is still extremely emotional for us so doing a live interview would be too difficult at this time. Also, we are trying to limit the use of our names so our son does not have to relive this every time his name is searched on the Internet as he grows up. In lieu of an interview, we share this with you in hopes of reminding parents of how quickly this can happen, to teach their children about safety and of the risks to any family in this situation.

    We felt it was important for us to travel to Seattle to attend today’s arraignment on behalf of our children and the children of Seattle. Of particular importance was the possibility that defense counsel might request a reduction in bail. We fear there will be a great risk to this community whenever he is released from custody.

    We are extremely grateful to have our son with us and thank God that we were able to get him back so quickly. However, getting him back did not end this terrifying ordeal. We relive that frightening time when our son was taken every day and will forever live in horror of what might have happened if 15 more seconds had passed and the defendant was able to get our little boy out of sight. Our older children, at just 6 and 8, have become fearful and protective of their brother. Our formerly cheerful 5 year old son is now having nightmares, has not returned to school, fears people sneaking up on him, and cannot bring himself to be in the presence of any older man unknown to him because he fears “he might take me away.” As heartbreaking as that is, we’re working through these issues with the appropriate professionals and have faith that our son will recover.

    We will do everything we can to keep another family from living the nightmare that we are living. We’re encouraged by the stories we hear and read of other parents who have taken this opportunity to talk to their children about safety. Perhaps some good can come of this experience in the protection of other children.

    We again extend our thanks to the Seattle Police Department, the King County Prosecutors Office, the bystanders and employees who came forward and assisted us, and the people of Seattle who have been supportive. We also thank the Seattle media for respecting our requests for privacy at this time.

    The only thing in Steiner’s criminal history is a guilty plea from attempting to elude a police vehicle and court documents show that he was commited for a short time to the Western State Hospital afterward. Prosectutors in this case say that he may be sent to Western for a psychiatric evaluation in order to see if he’s competent to face the kidnapping charge he is being held on. He’s currently in jail on a $250,000 bond.

  • Updated – William Edward Allen Dropped The Baby

    Updated – William Edward Allen has gotten off without facing prison time. The update is at the bottom of the post.
    Here’s another douchebag from Florida. I guess the moral of this story is that when you date a douchebag, expect to get fucked.
    The Orange County Sheriff’s office received a call yesterday afternoon from someone saying that there was a suspicious man who seemed “out of it” and was holding an infant outside the Winn-Dixie store.
    Allen, being the fine upstanding law-abiding citizen that he is ran through the grocery store and out the back door when police arrived at the scene. He then took off through the woods and backyards while holding the baby. The found him about an hour later but he didn’t have the baby and couldn’t fucking remember where he had put the infant. doh! I hate when that happens.
    Later on they found the 11-day-old boy in a garbage bag. Gives new meaning to garbage pail kids, but probably not the one that was meant.
