Assclown extraordinaire 34-year-old Larry Long was arrested Monday after he allegedly stuck his five-week-old baby in the oven.

Sunday night Long returned from the restaurant where he worked and proceeded to help the kid’s mother kill a fifth of whiskey. This is of course after he had smoked a bit of weed at work. His baby mama went to bed while he finished the booze.

At some point prior to going to bed he took the child and put it in the oven, leaving it off and the door slightly ajar and went to the sleep of the stoned and stupid. It wasn’t until he woke up around 5:30am to hear the crying baby that he realized exactly what it is that he had done.

The good thing is that apparently Long realizes he has a problem. He called a mental crisis health line and told them what he had done and they in turn contacted the police, who promptly arrested the father. He’s been charged with Wanton Endangerment and is being held on $10,800 bond. Let’s hope he gets the help he needs before someone is killed.

The baby and it’s two siblings have been removed from the mother’s care and placed with members of her family.
