Friday the FBI raided the home belonging to 45-year-old Jerry Adam Nickelsen’s father in Orlando, Florida. Nickelsen has been investigated for an unknown amount of time for possessing and distributing child pornography over the Internet and investigators figured they had enough evidence to search the home, which is across the street from Pinewood Elementary School.
Agents from the Innocent Images Unit, which specializes in child porn cases, carried out bags and boxes of computer equipment from the home Friday. They recovered child pornography from his laptop as well as CDs.
When questioned Nickelsen admitted to having the child porn but also reportedly admitted that he’s been having sex with children many times over the last 20 years.
Nickelsen (I’ve also seen it spelled Nickelson in the Orange County inmate database) is currently lodged in the Orange County Jail.
Nickelsen is part of the Deaf Ministry with the First Baptist Church of Central Florida. According to at least one anonymous commenter on another web site the church was aware of his proclivity toward boys and overlooked it. Of course like anything else you find on the Internet it’s possible that is bullshit and just someone running their mouth. Nickelsen has however, been removed from the FBCCF Deaf Ministry Staff page where he was previously listed. This photo is from the cached version of the page.
