Pictured Above: 30-year-old Elva Diaz killed 19-year-old Rachel Elliott in February 2008

On February 21st, 2008 shortly after midnight 19-year-old Rachel A. Elliott of Corona, California was killed in a head-on crash with 30-year-old Elva Diaz, who was reportedly drunk. Rachel suffered major head injuries and died in the hospital three hours later. Diaz, who was driving a Chevy Tahoe, received only minor injuries. Both women were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Diaz was arrested at the time for DUI and Manslaughter and lodged in the Riverside County Jail. She bonded out later on $75,000. Diaz disappeared after that and has been missing ever since.

Once authorities figured out that the scumbag bailed on them the charges were upgraded to Murder as well as Gross Vehicular Manslaughter and DUI. Her bond, if caught, is now $1 million.

At one point Diaz was at least in touch with investigators because the woman was supposed to turn herself in to the court on June 11th, 2009. Of course she didn’t show up.

Authorities believe that Diaz is still in the Riverside County area and is described as being 5’4”, 150 lbs with brown hair and eyes.

If you have seen this woman or have any information as to her whereabouts please contact the Riverside County DA’s Office at 951-955-8705.
