Stephen L. Pebley

62-year-old Stephen L. Pebley, a former Campbell County, TN teacher for more than 30 years, was caught shooting up Roxy in a middle school parking lot earlier this week and arrested.

Pebley is currently facing charges of possession, possession of paraphernalia and violation of a drug-free school zone.

The Jacksboro Middle School resource officer walked up to Pebley’s car around 2:30pm Monday afternoon after he noticed the Buick Regal parked next to the football field. Pebley was in the driver’s seat with a tourniquet around his left arm while his buddy, 34-year-old Cory Clay Overton, was in the middle of shooting up.

Both men admitted to pulling in to the parking lot so they could cook up some Roxy.

Pebley was originally arrested in Claiborne County in 2007 when deputies raided a meth lab. Pebley pleaded guilty at that time to conspiracy to make meth and he just finished his three-year probation sentence earlier this month.

Police in Multnomah County, Oregon arrested a man after he assaulted several people inside the Hayden Island Toys R Us with a blue light saber.

While someone from the store was on the phone with police 33-year-old David Allen Canterbury left the toy store lightsaber in hand.

Arriving officers tried to arrest Canterbury but he kept swinging the lightsaber at them. One of the officers attempted to use his Taser on the man but the device malfunctioned. Another police officer then tried to use his Taser but Canterbury managed to knock one of the wires away with the toy lightsaber.

Police were finally able to arrest David Canterbury after grabbing him and pinning him to the ground. He was treated by EMTs at the scene and taken to a local hospital for a mental evaluation.

None of the victims of the light saber assault required medical attention. Heh. So far Canterbury has only been charged with Possession of Heroin.

32-year-old Tracy Leigh Delozier of Hendersonville, North Carolina has been arrested after she was alleged to be a stupid bitch who forced her two children to ingest drugs.

Delozier has been charged with Felony Child Abuse as well as Misdemeanor Child Abuse. She has also been charged with Possession with Intent to See and or Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling to Keep or Sell Controlled Substances and Felony Possession of Marijuana.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Delozier forced her kids, ages two and nine, to take cocaine, marijuana and other drugs.

Tracy Delozier is currently lodged in the Henderson County Jail on $59,000 bond.

Tracy has three MySpace accounts I haven’t linked, there is nothing of particular interest on them and none of them have been updated in quite some time.

Everyone loves to hate lawyers and I get it. Personally I think that if done right it can be a pretty noble profession but unfortunately we have our share of ambulance chasers and attorneys who try to skirt the laws they are supposed to uphold and Mark Shelnutt of Columbus, Georgia is accused of doing exactly that.

Last November Shelnutt was acquitted on federal charges of drugs, money laundering, bribery and false statements. The former Muscogee County assistant DA is in private practice now and has been arrested yet again.

Shelnutt now faces eight counts of distributing prescription drugs after a three month long investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. According to the GBI Shelnutt supplied a confidential informant with Oxycodone, Aprazolam and Hydrocodone on several different occasions.

Shelnutt was arrested and lodged in the Muscogee County Jail Thursday around lunch time and is currently out on bond.

Meth face up there is Samantha Jackson a 23 yr, old mother of 3, from Auburn, CA  who was busy shooting Meth while her her young children were unsupervised and living in filth.  An anonymous caller on Saturday told deputies that while her children played outside Jackson was in her apartment shooting drugs.  Once inside the apartment they saw “extremely dirty” conditions, that included a floor covered in old food, clothes and garbage.  A 4 mo. old girl was found strapped in a car seat in front of a television, her crib was full of garbage, clothes and a lawn chair.  Her other 2 children are a 2 yr. old girl and a malnourished 4 yr. old son, who has been hospitalized for sores on his legs.

Along with 2 men the deputies, found in Jackson’s room a kit containing syringes and spoon that had meth residue on it.  Jackson has been arrest on felony child abuse, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of hypodermic needle, said Dena Erwin spokeswoman for the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.  The 3 children were placed in foster care by Social Workers and the Lovely Ms. Jackson sits in Placer County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

“The anonymous caller who reported this situation is a true hero,” said Lt. Jeff Ausnow.  “Their actions may have save the lives of these small children, I would engourage more people to get involved and do the right thing.”

Now ladies if you don’t want to have or take care of your kids and your first love is drugs, then give them up to people who will love them and/or use protection.

The tear streaked face above is that of Jessica Gamble who is defintely NOT the mother of the year.  The 21 year old is accused of forcing her 2 yr. old (yes that is what I said 2 yrs. old) to smoke marijuana.  Jessica is being held at the Hamilton County jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond and she faces 1 count of corrupting another with drugs.

Mommy dearest apparently forced the baby to smoke the drug on June 12th and video taped it with her cell phone… umm, stupid much???  Well the video made it into the hands of the Hamilton County Dept. of Job & Family Services, who then turned it over to the police.

The prosecutor’s office stated in a news release, ” It is unbelievable to watch on video a mother teaching a 2-year-old child how to smoke a joint, there are just some people who should never have children.”  Well you got that right!

The baby has been placed with another relative while a caseworker investigates.  A second person may also be charged.  Now ask yourself is it not bad enough that the baby’s “mother” doesn’t have enough sense to NOT do this but that there was yet another individual there that thought it was a good idea as well…. WTF!

Dawn Brantley of Thomaston, Georgia was arrested Wednesday after the GBI executed a search warrant of her home related to an investigation in which alleged child pornography was downloaded to a computer in her home using peer to peer software.

Brantley, the mother of three children and a licensed nurse and former substitute teacher was lodged in the Upson County Jail and her three children turned over to DFACS.

The investigation is part of the ongoing effort by the ICAC Task Force to identify and stop people involved in the trade of child pornography.

I hesitate to make a judgment in this case right now because I don’t yet know the ages of the 44-year-old woman’s children. For all I know it was a teenager downloading porn. Unfortunately child porn isn’t all  law enforcement found at the home.

During the search of the house police found methamphetamine as well as meth smoking devices. You can go out on a limb and claim child porn was unwittingly downloaded through UTorrent all you want but fucking meth? I think not.

Brantley has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography as well as a Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

Updated 12/8/10 – Back on September 3rd the GBI arrested Jason E. Shumate, Brantley’s live-in boyfriend, and charged him with sexual exploitation of children, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.

Shumate’s computer was also found to contain child porn as well. At the time he was charged he was already in custody due to a domestic dispute with Dawn Brantley.

I can’t think of much else that’s more stupid than turning yourself in to the police for an outstanding warrant than bringing your drugs with you. Of course 26-year-old Ricky Hefflin of Atlanta may very well have been stoned when he decided to go to the Fulton County courthouse in the first place.

As Heflin was trying to go through security he refused to empty his pockets for deputies. According to police he started acting nervous and refused to comply with their demands. When he was searched officers found a plastic bag in his pocket filled with 19 smaller baggies.

Hefflin admitted to police that the bags were filled with Marijuana. He was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell and also arrested for the two warrants against him for Battery. Hefflin was lodged in the Fulton County Jail.

20-year-old Alexander Michael Lemke must have really had the munchies on Friday night. The pot-head broke into his neighbor’s house and stole their 2005 Toyota Solara around 1:30 in the morning and headed out to the nearest McDonald’s where he tried to trade marijuana and pills for his cheeseburgers.

911 was called and Pinellas County deputies showed up pretty quickly to apprehend Lemke. Deputies reportedly found a ‘collection’ of drugs in the console. Lemke was charged with Grand Theft Auto, Driving With a Suspended/Revoked License and eight different drug-related charges.

Someone must figure Lemke won’t get out anytime soon because they’ve deposited almost $600 in his commissary account. Considering that this is the fifth time (on all different drug charges) he’s been in the Pinellas County jail since 2008 they may just be right.

Meet 22-year-old Tiffany Tommaseo from Chalmette, Louisiana. Tiffany has a two-year-old daughter. She also has a serious drug problem as well. As we all know the two don’t make for a very good mix and Tiffany is no different.

Tiffany dropped her daughter off at the day-care on Tuesday but after workers found the child to be lethargic and non-responsive they called Tiffany to come and get her. Tiffany told them that she was unable to come get her daughter so the grandmother showed up to get her and immediately took her to the St. Bernard Health Clinic. After discovering the little girl had overdosed she was transferred to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

Based on reports from physicians a judge issued a warrant for Tommaseo’s arrest. When police showed up at her house they found her in possession of Soma, Vicodin and Suboxin. Oh yeah, and she had overdosed as well, the stupid bitch. She was treated and released from University Hospital in New Orleans and arrested Wednesday. She is currently lodged in the St. Bernard Parish jail.

Back in May of 2009 the creepy bastard pictured above, 38-year-old Shawne Rust Farrar, was charged with Murder and Abuse of a Corpse in the killing of 22-year-old Nita Michelle Clayborn of Boaz, Alabama. He was released on bond in June of the same year.

Etowah County investigators and drug task force agents paid a visit to Farrar’s home Monday night and brought a search warrant with them. It was no surprise what they found.

Farrar has been arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He is currently being held without bond in the Etowah County Jail where he will hopefully stay until his murder trial.

The lovely couple above with the meth sores are 20-year-old Samantha Tomasini and 38-year-old Patrick Fousek. Both of them are sitting in the pokey now and it’s not for ugliness either.

Fousek walked up to two women outside the Wal-Mart (of course…) in Salinas, California early Wednesday morning and asked them if they wanted to buy his daughter for $25. Initially the ladies thought Fousek was joking but after he persisted and even put his daughter Rose in the arms of one of the women, she called the police.

At that point Patrick ran over to a car nearby, where his baby mama was waiting, and the two of them took off. Luckily the women managed to write down the tag number before they got away.

When police showed up at the apartment where Samantha and Patrick were living they found the family living in a dirty apartment with no food. Oh yeah, and they were high on meth. As if you didn’t see that part coming… According to CPS Tomasini breast-fed the child while she was messed up.

The little girl was taken into custody and both parents arrested for Child Endangerment, Being under the Influence and Possession of a Methamphetamine Pipe. Fousek has also been charged with violating his probation from a charge in 2006 when he and his twin brother were convicted of running a meth lab. Tomasini has an addition charge of Dissuading a Witness.

It does get slightly better though. Both of the parents are sitting in the Monterey County Jail in segregated cells but Thursday they were still in general population. When the 10p.m. news reported the charges several inmates in the open dorm jumped Fousek and beat his ass. He ended up being taken to the hospital to be treated for cracked ribs. He also has stitches on his lip, a cut on his nose and a swollen right eye. An officer with the sheriff’s department called the attack a “freak of timing”. I call it fortuitous.

Both of them are being held on $25,000 bond and they have a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 9th.

In addition to the violation of probation the two have even more legal history. Fousek has a son as well, who was removed from his home in 2006 after police found the meth lab. He has also done time for domestic violence charges and violating restraining orders involving his ex-wife. Tomasini served three months in 2009 after a 2008 arrest for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

25-year-old Denny Sanchez of Lawrenceville, Georgia was arrested this past Thursday for trafficking meth.

The Cherokee County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested Sanchez when the man delivered five ounces of meth (about $22,000 worth) to an undercover agent in Woodstock. Police also found a handgun and $2,500 in his car at the time of his arrest.

Sanchez is being held with no bond at the Cherokee County Jail charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Jose Santana and Cynthia Franco, both 25, of Anaheim, California have been arrested after leaving their five-year-old son asleep inside a car while they got busy getting high on meth.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department happened upon the child while they were investigating a possible vehicle burglary around 2am Sunday morning.

The parents were found inside two different houses getting high. Both Santana and Franco have been arrested and charged with Child Endangerment and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Both “parents” (and I do use that term very loosely) have records ranging from drugs and domestic violence to theft convictions.

Police in Greenwood, Indiana were called to an apartment complex last week after neighbors called to reports 23-year-old Kayla Neighbors screaming about dropping her baby. Right after the first call police received another 911 call reporting that the woman had thrown her daughter down on the concrete.

According to the police report several of Neighbor’s neighbors responded to her screams and once they figured out the baby was OK they handed the child back to Kayla, which is when she got a “cracked-out” look on her face and slammed the child head-first onto the pavement. The probable cause statement reports several of the witnesses hearing the horrendous sound of her head hitting the concrete.

Aryana Neighbors was rushed to the hospital with a skull fracture. She was released from the hospital last Saturday and is doing fine, living with her grandparents. Neighbors, who admitted to using meth right before the incident, was charged with battery and is lodged in the Johnson County Jail. Oh, by the way, this piece of crap meth head is six-months pregnant.

A routine traffic stop in Gwinnett County, Georgia netted a census worker who had drugs on him last Thursday.

27-year-old Brian Anthony Stewart of Snellville, Georgia went through a traffic safety checkpoint last week and during the checkpoint admitted that he had lost his driver’s license at a family reunion when he was asked for it. After finding he had no license police asked if they could search the car and Stewart let them.

When he was patted down police found a pill bottle with 151 Xanax in it and no prescription label. He also admitted to having hidden a small amount of Marijuana on his person as well while he was being taken to jail. When police searched his truck they found more pot as well as scales in the glove box.

They also found several census forms that contained personal information. Stewart said he was a census worker. The Census Bureau was contacted to pick up the forms.

Stewart has been lodged in the Gwinnett County Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Less Than 1 Ounce of Marijuana, Operating a Vehicle Without Driver’s License in Possession and Expired Tag.

I know mug shots are normally not terribly attractive anyway but I’ve got to tell you if Stewart showed up at my damn house looking like that I’d be more likely to call the police on his ass as I would be to answer his questions.

A Lyon County, Nevada deputy was checking out a disabled car on the side of the road back on April 23rd when someone recklessly tore by Deputy Hawley…on his moped.

The deputy stopped 25-year-old (according to his MySpace) Derrick Dexter of Fernley a very short while later and when he checked the man’s license he found it had been revoked.

After a search of Dexter he was found to be carrying 14 grams of Meth, some cash and drug paraphernalia in his pockets. Dexter was arrested and lodged in the Lyon County Jail on charges of Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving on a Revoked Driver’s License.

Seriously Derrick, it’s time to find a new line of work.

23-year-old Kayla Culver of Larksville, PA was pulled over for a traffic violation after she cut someone off in traffic without using her blinker, almost hitting the other car. During the course of the investigation the police officer must have gotten some idea of what was really up because Culver, her one-year-old daughter and a passenger were all asked to get out of the car.

When they got out of the car a packet of what appeared to be heroin fell out of the child’s clothing. When searched police found several more packets of heroin stuffed into her clothing, including her diaper.

Culver has been lodged in the Luzerne County Jail. I don’t yet know the specific charges or where her daughter is now, but hopefully in the hands of someone who doesn’t do heroin and can take care of the child.

Neighbors of 30-year-old Morgan James Young and 30-year-old Terri Mae Adams recently called the police in Gresham, Oregon to report possible drug activity at their home. When Multnomah County deputies arrived at the house with a search warrant all the evidence they needed was out in the open including Young smoking a pipe filled with what they are reporting was drugs, most likely meth, right next to a four-month-old baby. Nothing says love like second-hand meth smoke.

Scattered throughout the house police found methamphetamine, heroin, scales, packaging material, cash and a gun all within reach of the other children in the house. Police found spoons with drugs still on them and shotgun shells scattered on the floor.

Both of the children, the baby and a 10-year-old, were initially taken into protective custody and then placed with the Oregon Department of Human Services and the parents jailed.

Young was arrested on charges of Child Neglect, Delivery and Possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He also already had a warrant out for being a fugitive and is being held with no bond. Adams was charged with Child Neglect and Delivery and Possession of Meth and Heroin. She is also being currently held with no bond. Both are lodged in the Multnomah County Jail.

26-year-old Angela Marie Smith (MySpace) from Kingman, Arizona was arrested and charged with Child Neglect and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (surprise, surprise…) after she passed out and her three young children were found wandering the streets of their neighborhood.

The three girls who range in age from 4-6 were found and taken in by a neighbor Wednesday. The kids walked up to her house asking for help, telling the woman that they “could not wake their mommy up”. This is reportedly not the first time the neighbor has seen the children running around unsupervised.

After deputies got there they were able to locate the home where they found Smith passed out on the couch. After several minutes of trying to wake her up she finally came to and told them she was a “heavy sleeper”. The police also found a couple of pipes with marijuana residue in the house.

All three children were placed in the custody of CPS and faces of meth poster child was lodged in the Mojave County Jail.

20-year-old Sara Lou Kenny of New Port Richey, Florida and her friend 26-year-old Amber Dillon Tobeck from Safety Harbor have had a bit of a history with lockups in the Pasco County Jail.

Kenny is currently on probation from drug court that just started February 1st and Tobeck, who has been arrested on several occasions, is on probation for fraud and theft.

As part of Kenny’s probation she has to pass regular drugs tests. Problem is she can’t so she and Tobeck hatched a plan sure not to fail (the FAIL part is the only thing here that is true). Amber Tobeck sampled her toddler’s urine from the potty chair and gave it to Sara Kenny to use at her drug test. We all know what comes next, don’t we?

In addition to being caught Kenny also had methadone on her person that didn’t belong to her. She’s been charged with a felony probation violation and is also being held for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. Her buddy Amber Tobeck has been charged with three probation violations and already had warrants out for her arrest for Fraud, Grand Theft and Fraudulent use of ID. Stupid, stupid bitches.

35-year-old Matthew and Beth Cantin of Plant City, Florida are facing Federal charges of Manufacturing Meth in a home they share with their three children.

Back on February 15th Matthew and Beth Cantin apparently got into it and the police were called. Once they were in the house they noticed chemicals used in cooking meth along the hardware needed to cook in their garage.

The Cantins have three children ranging in age from 6 months to 9 years and were allegedly present at home when the Cantins were making it, endangering not only their lives but the lives of their three children as well.

While this appears to be Beth’s first time arrested in Hillsborough County Matthew isn’t quite so lucky, having been arrested in 2008 and 2009 for Battery and Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Female. Since the female in question is most likely Beth Cantin I don’t particularly feel sorry for either of these pieces of shit that would put their three children in danger like that.

This past Friday morning Valerie Jean Minicucci dropped her kid off at Kindergarten at Jerome Hanson Elementary School in North Branford, Connecticut. Before heading home though she had to make a pit stop in the restroom, which is where one of the school secretaries found her, shooting up in her foot, a couple hours later.

The secretary went to the principal who told Minicucci to wait in her van and called the police.

When officers arrived, at first she told them she hadn’t injected herself with anything, although she had a fresh puncture wound from a hypodermic in her foot and after they found an envelope full of needles as well as some bags of heroin and cocaine she tried to claim she is diabetic.

Of course she wasn’t able to produce any kind of documentation proving she’s diabetic. She was charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and possession of drugs by a nonstudent in a school zone. It’s not clear if she was released on her own recognizance or if she bonded out but it gets even better over the weekend.

The school administration called the Department of Children and Families and the father picked up his son from school.

Sunday morning rolls around and the Clinton, CT found her acting suspiciously in her car and saw what appeared to be a bag of medical supplies as well as sandwich bags in the car. When she was questioned she repeated the same lie, claiming to be a diabetic and that she had to take insulin.

After she got out of the car as the officer requested they found more drug paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia and released after she promised to be in court on January 29th.

Interestingly enough Minicucci was arrested last February for possession of narcotics as well but I can’t find any record of a conviction in that. It looks like she still has two pending cases waiting for a plea in both of them. She was convicted of Larceny in March 2008 and placed on probation after pleading guilty.

Samuel Harris, Jr. was watching his girlfriend Courtney’s two four-month-old twin boys, Aiden and Braiden, while she stepped out to get a bite to eat. That’s when things got ugly. According to an interview with one of the girlfriend’s relatives Aiden Caro wouldn’t stop crying so Harris picked the baby up and threw him across the room onto the couch. Apparently there was a piece of wood sticking out from under the couch and the baby hit his head on it.

A friend or family member of Harris says that Harris would toss the babies in the air or onto the couch to make them laugh. After three kids I’ve been there and done that. Only difference is I wasn’t fucking stoned when I did it.

Harris realized that the baby wasn’t breathing and picked him up to shake the child. When that didn’t work he squeezed the child’s chest, fracturing his ribs in the process. THEN he decided to run out of the house screaming trying to find help.

Both of the children were taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital where unfortunately Aiden Caro has since died.

Harris, who reportedly just turned 18 himself and was released from Kentucky’s foster care system, moved in with his grandma and since his 18-year-old girlfriend Courtney Caro and her twins had nowhere to go he let them move in.

Harris was arrested and charged with assaulting the two babies. He pleaded Not Guilty this past Wednesday morning to the charges and was being held on $500,000 bond. Since then Aiden Caro has died and Harris was arraigned on murder charges Friday. His bond was then increased to $1 million and the judge denied a request for psychiatric evaluation. Obviously the dude has a few screws loose but that certainly doesn’t keep him from knowing the difference between right and wrong and knowing that you shouldn’t get fucking loaded with children around.

When police questioned Harris and searched the house they found drug paraphernalia and also discovered that Sam Harris had spent most of the day prior to watching the babies getting stoned. Fucking loser. And the stoner girlfriend who allowed the stoned kid to watch her babies too. Of course with her father being in prison she probably hasn’t been taught how to make very good decisions herself.

Braiden has been removed from her care by the state and placed in the foster care system temporarily. Courtney’s latest MySpace update says “Lost. R.i.p. aiden. mommie luvs u nd braiden. i fil like dying. y did ths happen to my bby boy.” I know that the horrific death of a child has to be tearing her apart but that doesn’t preclude her from being culpable for the fact that she left her two babies in the care of an unemployed stoned loser.

Someone getting caught shoplifting is not generally a story you’ll come across here at the site but it’s what she stole that makes 33-year-old Melody Marlene Sanders so different. Well, that and the drugs. Can’t forget about the drugs.

Melody went into Intimate Treasures, a local sex shop in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, back on December 22nd. I don’t know if she was looking for Christmas gifts for her closest friends or if she was in need of some relief but while she was in there she stole a Triple Indulgence Personal Massager, a Spartacus Leather Thong Whip, Climax Tingling Lube and Sex Tarts Lemonade Lube, quite a diverse selection as a matter of fact. On the store’s video surveillance Sanders can be seen putting the items into her purse and then leaving.

After she thought she had successfully gotten out of there Melody got into a car with a man and took off. Police found the car a short distance away after having been called by the store’s management. In addition to the stolen items officers also found three rocks of crack cocaine and a glass tube.

When questioned about the drugs and the sex toys Melody gave officers a false name. She was charged with Retail Theft, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, False ID Given to Law Enforcement Officer and apparently has some kind of hold from Santa Rosa County, most likely a probation violation or something along those lines. She is currently lodged in the Okaloosa County Jail with no bond due to the hold (otherwise it would be $4,000).

Friday morning Hernando County deputies were attempting to serve a search warrant on Spring Hill, Florida resident 24-year-old Sean Everett Swartz, a known druggie, when he went berserk and had to be tased before officers could arrest him.

When officers entered the home Swartz was hiding under the covers in his bedroom. Despite orders to stop he started screaming at the deputies and attempted to hit them, at which point he tried to dive under his bed to get the loaded .357 he kept there. Officers were forced to use a taser on the dickhead to subdue him.

After searching the house police turned up a loaded .22 rifle, oxycodone, methadone, marijuana and some other prescription drugs.

Swartz, who already has a cocaine conviction, was arrested and charged with possession and resisting arrest with violence as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He’s been lodged in the Hernando County Jail on $36,500 bond.

This is a story I have followed for several months and wrote about on another site as well. The original post has been kept mostly in it’s entirety and my updates are at the end. Some of the information may have been updated as well that I am not aware of.

A multi-jurisdictional drug task force set up a sting to take place back at the beginning of September in Toccoa and a pastor from the area was inadvertently shot and killed. 29-year-old Jonathan Paul Ayers wasn’t a target in the drug sting and was not connected at all but a passenger riding in his car was.

Ayers dropped off 26-year-old Kala Jones Barrett in downtown Toccoa around 2:30 that afternoon and two agents from the task force which was made up of officers from Stephens, Habersham and Rabun counties followed Ayers and attempted to question him.

Ayers tried to avoid the officers, striking one of them with his car after putting it in reverse. The officers yelled (according to witnesses as well as their statements) "Police, Stop!". Ayers car lurched toward the law enforcement officers in a "threatening manner and one of the three agents fired a two shots which struck Ayers in the upper body. He drove off but ended up hitting a telephone pole about a block away. The pastor died at Stephens County Hospital in Toccoa.

The agent struck by Ayer’s vehicle was treated and released from the hospital and all of the agents involved were placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Ayers lived in Lavonia and was a pastor at Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Lavonia. His family said that he was in no way involved in drugs and police did not find any drugs in his possession or in his vehicle.

Kala Barrett, the woman who was the intended target of the sting, was arrested and charged with selling cocaine.

A press conference was held early on concerning the shooting and Law Enforcement again said that there is no connection between Ayers and drugs. The GBI spokesman did, however, say the following; "It was thought to be the case when it led up to what happened. We later found out there was another circumstance that we cannot get into that led to the incident, not drugs."

The family of Jonathan Ayers also released a statement. The following is from WNEG. Check out their site for more information.

"Jonathan was a good man. He was not involved in drugs. He would help anyone that needed help, give them the shirt off his back. Jonathan would have wanted to witness to the police officers involved in the shooting.

He was so excited about becoming a father and was loved by his family, friends and members of his church."

The spokesperson told WNEG News that Jonathan Ayers was being incorrectly portrayed as a drug suspect and that he was an innocent bystander.

Prior to dying Jonathan Ayers asked paramedics who shot him according to the AJC. Ayers’ actions point to a man who was scared and trying to get out of what looked like an ugly situation. He wasn’t aware that the men were police and even though they did identify themselves, when guys are yelling at you "Stop, Police! Get the fuck out of the car now or we’ll shoot" (just an approximation, I don’t know the exact words they yelled) the only thing one might hear is "get out of the car or I’ll shoot" and that’s if he could hear anything at all with his windows up.

Does that make the police culpable for his death? Friends of Ayers certainly think so. I am on the fence on that one though. It feels like a really big mistake, misunderstanding, mis-communication (albeit one that has cost a man his life). Should police have let him drive off and follow him,perhaps endangering other folks on the road? If he saw police lights behind him he might have pulled over realizing his mistake. It’s a bit late for that though.

The question still remains though, why was the woman who has been arrested for cocaine in his car in the first place? I’m not trying to point at anything here, I just really want to know.

Apparently, at least according to Kala Barrett, the two of them had been having monthly sex since they met in a bar in 2005 even though Ayers was married. His cell phone records certainly indicate he spoke with her a bit more than a concerned pastor might. He called her more than 20 times over four hours the day he was killed. He also gave her $50 the same day.

The officers involved were cleared of any wrongdoing in the matter.

The Effingham County Sheriff’s Department was called out to the home of 55-year-old Ricky Luke of Guyton, GA over the weekend after a domestic violence dispute between he and his wife was reported. While in the home deputies discovered that not only is Luke a wife beater but he is also now accused of manufacturing methamphetamine as well.

While in the home police found several items and ingredients used in the manufacture of meth.

Luke has been charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Pseudophedrine, Simple Battery and Cruelty to Children. The cruelty to children charge was added because a three-year-old child was present at the time of the beating.

Ricky Luke has been lodged in the Effingham County Jail.

Folks in the Walgreens in Rosenberg, Texas were minding their own business Sunday evening when in walked 27-year-old Conrad Lindsay (MySpace) wearing a devil mask and carrying a handgun.

As you can see from the security video grab above Lindsay walked right to the back and jumped over the pharmacy counter. Conrad loaded a duffle bag full of narcotics and headed toward the exit.

Police Officer Joseph Becerra arrived and found Lindsay heading out of the store and attempted to stop him. He confiscated the stolen drugs along with the mask and a pistol. Lindsay was arrested and charged with robbery and was initially booked into the Rosenberg City Jail. He has since been lodged in the Fort Bend County Jail where he is in for a devil of a mess.

Police in Harrington, Delaware were called to deal with a disorderly domestic disturbance and when they arrived 23-year-old Erin R. Boone (MySpace) confronted them with a butter knife. Boone had been banging on the door of the house belonging to the parents of a 14-year-old boy that she had molested.

Boone told the responding officer that she was not going to be arrested and continued to hold the knife in an aggressive manner after being asked by the officer to put it down. After a short struggle the police officer was able to get the knife away from Boone who was found holding 18 Xanax pills on her person.

After she was placed in the police cruiser Boone kicked out the passenger side window striking the officer, which resulted in injuries to his arm and hand.

During the subsequent investigation allegations came to light that Boone had been caught having sex with a 14-year-old boy earlier this month.

She is currently being held in the Sussex County Correctional Institute on $19,000 bond and is facing charges of Possession of a Deadly Weapon, Rape, Assault of a Peace Officer, Aggravated Menacing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass. Dayum.

It’s always been my understanding that while it’s stupid and will eventually lead you to jail, dealing drugs is supposed to be fairly lucrative. I guess from the looks of his latest two mug shots he might just be sampling his own wares, which would tend to be a serious loss in income for the guy. Luckily Largo, Florida police were there to held him see the error of his ways.

Shortly after midnight yesterday morning the Largo PD stopped 19-year-old Mario Jarvis Key of Dunedin for not having a light on his bicycle. Yep, the unlucky dude was riding his bicycle around Largo after midnight. I’m sure he was delivering cookies to his grandma at that time of the evening.

When the officers attempted to stop Mario he decided that the best course of action would be to run. During his attempted escape he dumped his sweatshirt and a bag. Key didn’t get very far and inside his bag was another bag which contained marijuana, plastic bags and a scale. In his sweatshirt he had a loaded pistol. oops. I guess it wasn’t your best night, huh Mario? Anyway, the second picture is from his current arrest. He’s been charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell, Manufacture or Deliver, Possession of a Firearm with Altered or Removed Serial Number and Resisting Arrest. He was released around noon yesterday on a $15,000 bond. I guess I was wrong, he does have some money.

The first photo was from his arrest back in January in Clearwater for Home Invasion Robbery. It looks like the charges on that one may have been dismissed though. There has been no update on the case since February 20th.

A couple of nights ago deputies in El Paso  stopped a Mitsubishi for a moving violation. The driver was a young hispanic male who was acting very nervous and suspicious so they decided to pull him over. When deputies asked Cesar Moreno to exit the vehicle so they could question him he took off running into the darkness of the neighborhood.

Patrick Conners (MySpace) was arrested and charged with a RICO violation, leasing an apartment for sale of controlled substances, conspiracy to sell marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. The delivery boy Justin Smith was charged with a violation of probation and conspiracy to sell marijuana. 

Conners confessed ro making a living as a drug dealer to pay for his college tuition and rent. He would buy packages of pot for $3500 and have some shipped to his house in Satellite Beach and others shipped to a friend in Virginia. Smith was hired to transport the drugs. When police arrested Patrick Conners they also confiscated bongs and scales and froze his bank account which had around $7k.

They are both currently being held in the Brevard County Jail.

According to police the baby appeared OK but they took the infant to the hospital just to make sure and the mother was notified, who said that she and Allen (the boy’s father) got in an argument and he walked away with the infant.

Scared Monkeys has some recent posts up about Joran and his antics if you want to go check them out. Apparently Joran appeared on the late-night talk show Pauw & Witteman and by the end of the show threw wine in the face of a crime reporter. Good thing he wasn’t alone on the beach with him.

Ever since June of 2005 millions of people around the world and most particularly here in the United States have been wondering just what happened to Natalee Holloway and if she will ever be found.

Although this is titled a “Definitive Natalee Holloway Timeline” this is certainly not meant to be the last source of information and I plan on adding to it as time goes by. I have not added a lot of the stuff that has happened the last couple of months but will when I get the free time. I also need to arrange it in more or a chronological order. I have worked on it off and on when I had free time over the last week or so, it jumps around a bit.

The first I heard of the story was right around the time of this news story at CNN.

Natalee Holloway was on a post-graduation trip to Aruba along with about 100 students from Mountain Brook High School in Alabama in order to celebrate their graduation. Along with the students were seven adult chaperones.

She was last seen in the company of three young men, Joran van der Sloot as well as Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, leaving Carlos & Charlies, a nightclub in Oranjestad. According to initial reports the three men claimed that they took her to Arashi Beach before dropping her off at her hotel about 2 AM. Somewhere between 20 and 40 of her classmates saw her leave the bar with the three young men around 1:30 AM. None of the security cameras at the Holiday Inn where her class was staying show Natalee returning. The class of 124 was scheduled to fly back to the states on that day, May 30th. Her passport, packed luggage, camera and cell phone were all in her hotel room.

One interesting thing about the security cameras is that on April 19th, 2006 Beth Twitty stated that the security cameras at the Holiday Inn were not working on the night that Natalee vanished. She has made other statements in public as well as in her book, that the lobby camera was working. This could just be a matter of simple confusion. I would be pretty darned confused if my child had been missing so long. It could also point to the fact that she didn’t know what the hell she was talking about and just had to say something to the media.

The initial CNN story that I linked to above was published on June 4th, five days after Natalee’s disappearance. On June 5th Aruban police arrested and charged two security guards at the Hotel Allegro with crimes relating to the disappearance. Neither of the two men were in the group that Natalee left Carlos & Charlies with. A tip had led police to the two men. The two men were Abraham Jones and Mickey John.

June 6th had Aruban government employees join in the search already underway by Aruban police, the FBI and Dutch Marines. At that point some of the searchers were concentrating on the eastern tip of the island, which had already been searched by Dutch marines. The area they were searching is near the oil refining town of San Nicolas, where the two security guards had been arrested the previous day. Aruba’s chief prosecutor at the time, Karen Jansen had also requested that FBI dive teams help to search areas of Aruba’s coast.

On June 9th three more men, the boys who were seen leaving Carlos & Charlies with Natalee, were arrested. At that point there were five people in custody. Under the Dutch judicial system people can be arrested on suspicion of a crime and be formally charged later.

At that point several questions came up based on racial issues. Police had already questioned the three young men but did not formally detain them or seize the car belonging to the Kalpoes. Compared to the two black security guards from the poorer side of the island the three young men were from well to do families. Statements from the government denied it. Karen Jansen said that “The suspicion of a suspect has nothing to do with the color of his skin, but the grounds of suspicion.” According to Prime Minister Nelson Oduber “On this island, nobody stands above the law.”

I don’t know a hell of a lot about that but I do know that the media really overdid the story in order to gain ratings. The whole thing and the media circus was a pretty darned good example of missing white woman syndrome. I did a little experiment and posted a very short entry. It included the title, What if Natalee Holloway Was Back and Poor? The post itself was one sentence, although I have updated it and maybe it is one paragraph. Based on the strength of that question and the morbid curiosity of people I got more hits on that entry than most of the others I have written. It also garnered over a hundred comments. While I had never heard of ‘missing white woman syndrome’ or ‘missing pretty girl syndrome’ at that point in time, that was the whole point. The elements of her being pretty, blond, and affluent assed up to positive discrimination in her case. You can deny it all you want but facts is facts.

Anyway, back to what I was doing…

2005

Immediately after it was found that Natalee had missed her flight, Natalee Holloway’s step-father George Twitty and her mother Beth flew to Aruba. After questioning the other students they went to the Aruban police with Joran van der Sloot’s name and address and let the police know that he was the last person to see her. Two Aruban policemen and the Twittys went to the Van der Sloot house looking for Natalee. Joran denied knowing who Natalee was but later recanted that statement and said that they took her to the California Lighthouse so that Natalee could see the sharks (at two in the morning). They also made the statement that she had fallen down as she got out of the car and was drunk but refused Joran’s help to get up. They stated that as they drove away she was approached by a black man in a black shirt like the ones that security guards wear.

Her father, Dave Holloway arrived in Aruba two days after her disappearance and went to the police station where he spoke with the case’s lead detective and a police drugs specialist, Dennis Jacobs. According to Dave Holloway the police officer’s first statement to him was “Well, how much money you got?”. Holloway also says that Jacobs told him to go to Carlos ‘n Charlies Bar and that she might turn up there but to watch his drink as “people put stuff in it”.

On June 10th, 2005 Natalee Holloway’s family rushed to the lighthouse after a police official told the media that one of the three young men in custody admitted ‘something bad happened’ and was leading police to the scene. Prosecutors refused to confirm or deny the information.

Part of the big problem here is that her parents were TOO involved, almost to the point of obstructing the investigation. Yes, they should have been on top of the case constantly but it’s the job of law enforcement to do the actual investigating. The other big problem though is that the investigation itself always seemed to be running into roadblocks, particularly where the three suspects were concerned.

Through the whole search the Aruban authorities were highly criticized by Natalee Holloway’s family for a perceived lack of progress. Her family even called for a boycott of Aruba which gained the support of Alabama Governor Bob Riley but pretty much ended up fading away.

On June 11th the spokesman for the Aruban Minister of Justice indicated that Natalee Holloway was dead and authorities new the location of her body. He later retracted the statement saying that he was the victim of a misinformation campaign. Later in the evening Police Commissioner Gerald Dompig alleged to the AP that one of the young men admitted ‘something had happened’ to Holloway after the suspects took her to the beach and was leading police to the scene. The next morning Aruban Justice Minister Rudy Croes contradicted the statement saying that the rumor one of the suspects had confessed was untrue.

On June 17th, Steve Gregory Croes was arrested in connection with the case after being questioned. Croes is a party boat disc jockey and apparently knew one of the Kalpoes because they went to the same Internet cafe according to a statement by Croes’ employer Marcus Wiggins.

The next day, June 18th police questioned Paul van der Sloot, the father of Joran. He was questioned for five hours and met with investigators for two more hours the next day. On June 23rd he was arrested.

June 26th – a judge ordered that Paul van der Sloot, a judge in training, and Steven Croes be released from jail but would not explain why they were let go.

June 27th Texas Equusearch volunteers search a rock quarry in Noord, Aruba near the home of one of the suspects in the disappearance.

On June 29th as the three boys sat in the back of a police car this conversation was secretly recorded:

On July 4th a judge ordered the Kalpoes immediate release from jail but ruled that there was enough evidence to hold Joran van der Sloot for another 60 days while prosecutors built their case.

July 25th, 2005. Natalee Holloway’s family increased the reward for information leading to her safe return to $1 million. There is also a $100,000 reward for any information that helps authorities solve her disappearance.

On July 27th a large pond was drained across from the Marriott Hotel after a tip from a witness claimed to have seen Joran van der Sloot driving with Deepak and Satish riding with him. Once on the stand the witness was declared to be not credible when lawyers destroyed his stories.

On August 26th, 2005 Satish and Deepak Kalpoe were arrested for the second time. Aruban officials detained them on suspicion of involvement in premeditated murder and rape.

On September 1st 2005 A judge ordered Joran van der Sloot’s release from jail and the Kalpoes were ordered to be released on the 3rd. On the 6th of September van der Sloot left Aruba to go to college in Holland.

During the interrogation Joran van der Sloot stated to police that he left Holloway at the Marriott Hotel beach near the fishermen’s huts and phoned Deepak Kalpoe for a ride home and that Satish drove him home. The Kalpoes agree that van der Sloot and Holloway were dropped off there but denied that they returned to pick him up. At one point van der Sloot told a third story that he was dropped off at home and Holloway was driven off by the Kalpoe brothers. Gerald Dompig discounted the story saying that “this latest story came when he saw the other guys, the Kalpoes, were kind of finger-pointing in his direction, and he wanted to screw them also, by saying he was dropped off. But that story doesn’t check out at all. He just wanted to screw Deepak. They had great arguments about this in front of the judge. Because their stories didn’t match. This girls, she was from Alabama, she’s not going to stay in the car with two black kids. We believe their second story, that they were dropped off by the Marriott”.

On September 15th Dr Phil aired portions of an interview between a private investigator, Jamie Skeeters and Deepak Kalpoe. It has since been proven that the Dr Phil show actually edited the tape to show something completely different. Here is a portion of the interview.

At the end of October 2005 Dave Holloway and Texas EquuSearch finally leave Aruba. The photo to the left shows Tim Wiggins, the founder and director of Texas EquuSearch checking a night vision camera. Texas EquuSearch has a 70% success rate in finding it’s targets in over 450 missing persons searches as of 2005. EquuSearch sent trained divers, sonar search equipment and other volunteers to help with the search for Natalee.

On November 10th in a fairly quiet legal move, Joran’s father Paul van der Sloot won an unjust detention action against the Aruban government and with that court victory is no longer legally a suspect in the case.

2006

In January of 2006 Vanity Fair published an article entitled “Missing White Female“. In the article some of the behavior of the seniors during their trip was discussed. Apparently due to the behavior of the previous group the 2006 seniors were not welcomed at the Holiday Inn. Natalee’s behavior in particular was discussed. According to some of the reports at one point Holloway lay down on the bar and let van der Sloot lick a body shot off her stomach. One of her roommates told the FBI that she and Holloway had been doing Jello Shots before van der Sloot’s arrival. Her friends claim that she had been drinking all day and Gerald Dompig indicated that the police have evidence to corroborate that. He also indicates that their was evidence that points to possession of drugs by Holloway.

Flash forward forward five months to the end of March 2006. The lead investigator in the Natalee Holloway case receives a tip and they are hopeful that police might be able to find her. On April 15th while we were all fretting about the IRS, Aruban authorities reveal that they have made a new arrest in her disappearance. 19-year-old Geoffrey Van Cromvoirt, known at the time by the initials ‘G.V.C’ is detained. He was also being held on suspicion of drug offenses and they suspected him in Natalee’s disappearance. Police release Cromvoirt on April 24th. The prosecutor’s office maintained that he was still a suspect. They also release the fact that they had arrested a 20-year-old man on April 22nd and interrogated him for six hours and then released him.

In mid-May 2006 Dutch police detain a man in the town of Utrecht on suspicion of participating in the kidnapping and killing of Natalee Holloway. According to the man’s attorney, Gerard Sponge (apt name for an attorney), his client was suspected of assisting in the murder of the Alabama high school senior. He was released a week later due to the fact that there was not enough evidence to hold him. Guido Wever is the son of a former Aruban politician. Aruban authorities requested his transfer to the island but he was released instead.

2007

On April 16th 2007 a combined Aruban-Dutch team began pursuing the investigation in Aruba again after a book was released by Joran van der Sloot and reporter Zvezdana Vukojevic entitled “De Zaak Natalee Holloway” (“The Case of Natalee Holloway”).

Several months passed and the three boys, Joran van der Sloot, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe are all rearrested on November 21st 2007. Aruban authorities  had them arrested on suspicion of involvement in manslaughter and causing seriously bodily harm that caused the death of Natalee Holloway.

After the release of Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoes van der Sloot told a Dutch newspaper that he regretted that he was not formally prosecuted for any crime. Aruban authorities closed the investigation on December 18th saying that they believed Holloway is dead but that they did not have enough evidence to prosecute van der Sloot or the other two former suspects. According to the newspaper DAG van der Sloot said “I would have liked to have seen a trial so that everything could be out in the open” in his first public remarks since he was released on December 7th. The interview was conducted via email with van der Sloot in Aruba where he is currently staying with his family. Van der Sloot denies that their was any new evidence as prosecutors had asserted. He believes that his latest arrest was intended to please the American media. “I’ve been declared guilty without any factual evidence and I’m left to prove my innocence” he told the paper.
