59-Year-Old Carlton Gary, who was slated to be executed tonight has received a stay of execution. The Georgia Supreme Court has ordered the Muscogee County Superior Court to have a hearing on Gary’s request for DNA testing.

Gary was convicted in 1986 of three slayings out of seven between 1977 and 1978 in the Columbus area. Gary was dubbed the “Stocking Strangler” because the female victims were all beaten and raped before being strangled with their own underwear.

Gary maintains his innocence and thinks that DNA will clear him of the murders. On the off chance that it might prove him innocent I say go for it. DNA testing wasn’t available at the time he was convicted so what the hell will it hurt?

Back in 1991 51-Year-Old Kenneth Biros of Oio met 22-Year-Old Tami Engstrom in a bar near the town of Warren. Offering to give her a ride home he robbed the woman and attempted to rape her. Engstrom didn’t want to cooperate and Biros ended up killing the woman and dismembering her, spreading the body parts around northeast Ohio and Pennsylvania.

What makes Biros different from any other run-of-the-mill douchebag murderer aside from the fact that he inflicted 91 wounds on the woman BEFORE he killed her and cut her body up?

Biros is the first person executed using the previously untested “one drug method”. The “new” method uses a heavy dose of Sodium Thiopental, the drug which is used to knock out death row inmates prior to administering the other two drugs in the old system. Biros was actually scheduled to be executed two years ago but since he’s been involved in a lawsuit challenging the three-drug method he received a stay of execution. I guess he got his wishes and the sorry piece of shit didn’t have to be killed using three drugs.

I wonder if using one instead of three saves us any money?

John Ditullio has been in jail for the last three (almost four now) years on charges of a murder he allegedly comitted in March of 2006. Originally he told the court he was going to defend himself, believing that nobody would fight for his life with the same fervor that he would but in March of 2007 he changed his mind and decided that he did need counsel. The ninth grade dropout, while seemingly more than willing to do it, most likely made the right choice, at least to drag the damned trial out.

The latest bullshit motion filed on Ditullio’s behalf by his attorneys is to be able to have a make-up artist in court every day to cover some of the more offensive tattoos the American Nazi member has gotten over the last three years since he’s been in jail which include the barbed wire looking thing you see on his face as well as a swastika high up on the side of his neck. His attorneys said that “This on the side says Fuck You and is very offensive regardless of whether he had it at the time of the crime or didn’t have it”. They claim that the average person on a jury might be either offended or intimidated and maybe frightened by the tattoos and might lead jurors to suspect Ditullio as guilty regardless of the evidence. Ya think? Perhaps mister I’ll defend myself should have thought of that when he was preparing his own defense. His attorney does have a point but what a waste of Florida taxpayer’s money.

Anyway, Ditullio is in jail accused of murder and attempted murder. He donned a gas mask and broke into the home of a woman, stabbing her and killing her 17-Year-Old house guest. Originally it was bandied about that perhaps he was targeting her 18-Year-Old son, who is gay, but it seems that prosecutors are saying that she was terrorized because she was frequently visited by a black friend.

Detectives found the woman’s blood on Ditullio’s shoe and his buddies in the American Nazi told investigators that he came to their clubhouse the night of the murder wearing a gas mask and telling them that he had just stabbed the neighbors.

The state of Florida is seeking the death penalty in the trial, which begins Monday with jury selection.

Updated 12/8/09 – Ditullio apparently like to write down his thought. Shortly after the killing he wrote a note about it while he was holed up inside the trailer and SWAT team members had it surrounded. “I’m ready to die for what I believe in. I now know what it means to die for my race. I’m ready to shoot these cops until my jand stops working…I’d rather be killed than to live with those niggers forever”.

Racist asshole.

Not only does he like to mull over his crime but the Christmas following the murder he sent King’s father a Christmas card that read, “I hope your Christmas is full of memories of your dead gay son. Merry fucking Christmas”.

You know, after reading some of this stuff that’s coming out in the trial I don’t guess covering the tattoos matters much after all. Hopefully this asshat will be getting the death penalty for this bunch of crap.

Ditullio’s charge report in Pasco County

At first it seemed like a blameless tragedy. Two young teenage girls perish in a fire and their mother’s boyfriend valiantly tries to get back in to save them. Both girls died from smoke inhalation. A sad story, but once the fire marshal finished his investigation, determining that the only way the fire could have started was through arson, the story took a sickening turn.

Allegedly Clarence Meyers has now admitted to having started the fire that killed the two girls and injured his girlfriend. According to the arrest documents Meyer sprayed lighter fluid on the breaker box in the basement and on a bed next to the furnace and then lit a piece of paper which fell on a sofa, igniting the blaze.

Apparently Meyers was looking for sympathy from the local community. When tragedy strikes most of us are ready to jump in and help our neighbors out, down to the shirts on our back. Meyers was out of work and his unemployment was running out. Both he and Lindeman had lost their jobs at an auto parts factory. Lindeman got a job at a fast food restaurant but Meyers was either ‘too good’ for that sort of work or he was just worthless enough to not be able to find one. Here’s a hint to all those people on unemployment. Nobody is ‘too good’ to flip burgers or dig ditches, particularly when then are children too support.

Clarence Meyers was arrested this past Friday and is being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond. He has been charged with murder, child abuse and arson. The State Attorney may end up seeking the death penalty on this one. Too bad burning alive at the stake is considered cruel and unusual.

Clarence Meyers, if you are looking for sympathy from me you’ll find it in the dictionary right between shit and syphilis but you won’t find any here you slimeball.

Harrell Johnson was convicted back at the beginning of October of the heinous crime of murdering Erica Green, otherwise known to the media and law enforcement as ‘Precious Doe’.

The prosecution didn’t seek the death penalty for a couple of different reasons, one being that Johnson agreed to withdraw his request to change the venue out of Kansas City.

He received a sentence of life without parole for the murder, four years for the endangerment charge and another 25 on the abuse charge. Hopefully Harrell will enjoy some bubbas ministrations for quite some time to come. That’s of course if he lives long enough. People in prison take a dim view on child abusers.
