• Paulding County Man Charged With Child Porn

    61-year-old Richard Gibson of Acworth, Georgia turned himself in Thursday night after investigators found pornographic pictures of children on his computer after they served a search warrant. He has been charged with 20 counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children. His bond has been set at $55,200.

    Several computers and other related items with digital storage were seized during the search. According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office 169 images of known or suspected child porn was found and that at least 20 of them were of children 12-years-old or younger.

  • Hiram Man Spied On Women From Under A Truck

    45-year-old Terrence Lee Boros of Hiram, Georgia has been arrested after he was caught spying on a woman from under a truck in a Target parking lot.

    The victim came back to her car after shopping at the Target and as she arrive at her vehicle she noticed a McDonald’s cup on top of the SUV. She stepped up on the running board to get it off and as she was stepping down she stepped on top of Terrence, who had been hiding under a box truck looking up her skirt.

    She actually stepped on him and fell back, tripping over the douchebag. He then jumped in his truck and raced away.

    Police in Acworth alerted the public to his antics and released a photo of Boros. He has been arrested and charged with Loitering or Prowling and Criminal Trespassing. He may also face more charges from an incident at another store last week.

    He is currently lodged in the Cobb County Jail on $17,000 bond.

  • Robert Raboud of Acworth Arrested For Alleged Child Porn

    47-year-old Robert Raboud of Acworth, Georgia was arrested on Monday for allegedly having child pornography on a computer in his home according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department.

    A search warrant executed on Raboud’s home led police to find over 100 images of child porn on his computer. The computer equipment was confiscated.

    Raboud turned himself in to Paulding County Deputies after his attorney was notified of the charges. He is currently out on bond after being charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

  • RSO John Peter Wakeley Violated His Restrictions

    Registered Sex Offender John Peter Wakeley of Acworth, Georgia has been arrested and is being held without bond after he was seen loitering around a public park where there were children.

    A detective with the Acworth Police Department just happened to be instructing a crime scene class for a group of citizens at Logan Farm Park when she noticed the 54-year-old man walking near a playground. Detective Endicott recognized Wakeley as someone that the Acworth PD regularly contacts through home visits to make sure they are complying with the sex offender registry.

    A warrant was secured and Wakeley arrested.

    John Wakeley was convicted of Child Molestation in February 1996 and was added to the registry when he got out of prison in March of 2000.

  • Anthony Blaylock Arrested For Child Cruelty

    23-year-old Anthony Blaylock of Acworth, Georgia has been arrested and is facing a Child Cruelty charge for striking his infant son in the head.

    911 was called and police found the injured three-month-old at home with his father, Anthony, on Tuesday. The baby is in stable condition at Egleston Hospital after being life-flighted from Kennestone Hospital with head trauma. Doctors determined that it the injury was caused by being struck.

    Blaylock turned himself in to the Acworth police Wednesday night and he is currently being held at the Cobb County jail with no bond. His first court appearance is pending.

  • Richard Areingdale Hung Himself

    areingdaleRichards.jpg42-year-old Acworth, Georgia man Richard Areingdale had been in the employ of the Georgia House of Representatives since 1999 and was involved in the operation of the House website.

    The Magistrate Court of Cobb County issued a warrant for Richard’s arrest on Tuesday on charges of rape, statutory rape, incest, two counts of child molestation aggravated sodomy and three counts of child molestation from offenses which occurred over a period of eight years. The Cobb County Sheriff’s department tried to serve the warrant and arrest him twice last night but both times that they went to the house he was not there. They had already executed a search warrant at the house earlier Tuesday so he knew that they would be eventually coming for him.

    Around 8:30 this morning a custodian in the Coverdell Legislative Building next to the Capitol in Atlanta found Areingdale dead of apparent suicide in the 5th floor press office.
