Johnnie Lee Wiggins

Back in 2008 Johnnie Lee Wiggins was released from the Coffee Correctional Facility in Southeast Georgia after serving almost six years. This wasn’t his first stint either. He’s been in and out of jail in Georgia since 1996 on a variety of charges including theft and assault. According to the AJC he has also had charges filed against him in Washington and North Carolina as well. In several cases the crimes were assaults against women.

At some point since 2008 Wiggins requested that his parole be transferred to Washington state. The transfer was granted and Wiggins moved to Seattle, where he worked as a personal trainer and bodybuilder.

Wiggins apparently has a bit of an anger problem. Back in May 2011 he was arrested after he verbally attacked one of his parole officers. After cops searched his home they found a large quantity of anabolic steroids. Washington attempted to extradite Wiggins back to Georgia but my home state wasn’t having any of that shit. While his parole transfer was rescinded and he had to report to a parole officer in Cobb County, Georgia back in August they refused to spend the money required to bring him back here. After his visit in August he remained an unsupervised parolee and was required to report any address change or trip to the parole officer in Cobb County. He went back to Seattle illegally without doing so.

Anyway Wiggins, also a competitive body builder, had a girlfriend up in Seattle. According to her family members the 48-year-old man was jealous, controlling and short-tempered, allegedly suffering from “roid rage.”

32-year-old Adam Thomas Johnson of Knoxville, Tennessee has been arrested and arraigned for Murder in the deaths of both his parents, who he lived with. Johnson allegedly killed both his mother and father and then went on a crime spree across three counties in Tennessee.

Tom and Sharon Johnson were found dead Saturday morning at their home in Knox County after deputies made a welfare check on the couple when their car was discovered in the parking lot of the Lowe’s in Jefferson City.

Adam Johnson allegedly killed both of his parents and then stole their jeep, leaving it at the Lowe’s and stealing a ‘92 Saturn. He then ditched that and forced his way into a home in Hamblen County, stealing an ‘01 Civic from the woman who lived there. He got rid of that car and stole a Chevy Tahoe from Old Doogie’s Store in Hawkins County.

Johnson was arrested in Hawkins County and charged with Theft, Reckless Endangerment and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was transferred to Knox County on Saturday night. Johnson will also be facing charges in Hamblen and Jefferson counties but what they are has not been announced.

Johnson has prior convictions for Theft and Burglary in Knox County. He is currently lodged in the Knox County jail on $2 million bond.

You’ve got to take the profiles over at Match.com and other dating sites with a grain of salt. Just because a person says something in their profile damn sure doesn’t make it true. That’s not to say that everyone you meet through the Internet is a fucking creep like 53-year-old Wade Mitchell Ridley of Arizona but you had better do your homework before you start dating someone you have met online.

According to the Las Vegas, Nevada Police Department Ridley has admitted to killing 62-year-old Anne Simenson of Phoenix, Arizona using a machete and a butcher knife in order to pay her back for the way she had “mistreated” him when she broke off their relationship. There is no mention so far as to how the two met or if it was online but Ridley did meet another ex-girlfriend through a dating site.

After killing Simenson and stealing her jewelry, credit cards and car he robbed a drugstore and then drove to Vegas and hid in his ex-girlfriend’s garage. When she arrived home he attacked her as she got out of her car, stabbing her repeatedly in the neck until his knife broke. He then stomped on her head and neck. Luckily a witness heard the brutal attack and called 911.

The victim is in critical condition an a local hospital. Ridley was located driving Simenson’s red 2005 Toyota convertible.

Ridley is currently facing Murder, Attempted Murder and Robbery as well as other charges.

Ridley’s motive for attacking the women? Revenge for breaking up with him.

Back in August 2009 Kristi Cornwell of Blairsville, Georgia disappeared. It was a pretty big story in part because her family and friends made a concentrated effort to locate her and kept the story in front of the media for quite some time. I posted about Kristi’s disappearance on several occasions on my other site as well as after the move here.

Working with the GBI Richard Cornwell, Kristi’s brother, searched countless miles of the Union County, Georgia area where Kristi had disappeared.

Last summer police received an anonymous letter penned in purple ink from an alleged woman that alleged her grandson was responsible for Kristi’s disappearance. Authorities pleaded for the unnamed woman to come forward but received no results. Police now believe that the letters were actually written by James Scott Carringer, the man who offed himself after he kidnapped and raped a Kennesaw State student last year. I wrote about Carringer last April after he committed suicide. Police found purple ink pens in his home along with several calendar entries he had made in the same purple ink.

Along with Kristi Cornwell Carringer is suspected of attempting the kidnapping of a woman in Ranger, North Carolina in August 2009, the April 2010 attempted kidnapping of a 10-year-old girl in Montgomery, Alabama and the kidnapping and rape of a relative in Ellijay, Georgia, the 19-year-old Kennesaw State University student.

Back in March of 2009 Misty Dawn Wilmeth died the day before she turned 29. 47-year-old Lonnie Lee White of Tennessee pleaded guilty earlier today in a deal with prosecutors which gives him 10 years in prison except that he is eligible for parole after three and a half years. He had originally been charged with Reckless Homicide and a grand jury increased the charge to Murder.

According to White, the woman died during a “rough sex” game that she had requested. The family, who approved the plea deal as well just to get it over with, believes that she perished while resisting a rape attempt by the registered sex offender.

After Wilmeth died White is the one who called the police, but not until after he had dragged her nude body out of his house about 40 feet away near a wooded area. Both of her eyes had been blackened as well.

White was originally convicted of Sexual Battery in 1992. While it is no reason for her to have died, Wilmeth also had a history of 21 arrests, mostly public intoxication.

29-year-old Fred Gee was arrested yesterday in Monticello, Florida in the Thanksgiving Day murder of his ex-girlfriend 31-year-old Julie Samuel after an argument between the two.

Julie Samuel was shot several times in her home around 3:30 Thursday morning. Witnesses say that they heard multiple gunshots and then heard a car speed away.

Gee, who Samuel already had a restraining order against, was arrested yesterday afternoon after police found his car abandoned about 30 miles away in Monticello, Florida. He is currently lodged in the Brooks County Jail.

This is sort of weird. I have been following a couple of stories over the last two weeks while I was on vacation and had planned to post about Monica Ambriz disappearance before I left but just never had the time. Now both stories have culminated into one unfortunately sad tale.

Back on October 16th 17-year-old Monica Ambriz left work at a grocery store in Jonesboro, Georgia (just south of Atlanta) shortly before 5 p.m. and was never seen again.

Approximately three hours later her mom saw a strange man driving her car nearby. She called Monica’s phone several times and eventually a man answered it and told her that he wasn’t going to bring Monica back. Shortly after the car was found abandoned with Monica’s cell phone inside it.

Ten days later a body was found in an abandoned building about a mile from the grocery store. Police identified the body as that of the missing teen.

The other side of the story has to do with Gerardo Hernandez, who was arrested at a Payless Shoe Source in Dekalb County during an armed robbery on October 26th. He had been identified as the man who had also robbed two other places of business, in one case sexually assaulting two women at a hair salon in Henry County.

Hernandez has now been charged with two murders, that of Monica Ambriz as well as 61-year-old Maria Gloria Galvan De Rivera, who was found stabbed, strangled and beaten to death in her home in Forest Park Georgia on October 12th.

Hernandez, an alleged illegal alien, has been charged with all of the crimes after confessing to them. He told police that the motive was money. The rest of the crimes were just secondary to them. He is being held without bond in the Dekalb County jail on an immigration hold.

51-year-old former Dekalb County Sheriff’s Deputy Derrick Yancey was found guilty Wednesday afternoon after a trial in which the jury found him guilty of two counts of murder and two counts of weapon possession.

While out on bail before trial Yancey cut off his ankle bracelet and tried to flee to Belize. He was captured and returned to the Dekalb County Jail.

Yancey killed his wife Linda along with a day laborer inside their Stone Mountain, Georgia home two years ago. Sentencing hasn’t been scheduled yet but Yancey faces 30-70 years in prison.

Luzbenet Ramirez

 17-year-old Luzbenet Ramirez was brutally stabbed and stuffed in a closet by a jealous rival in a love triangle. 

Luzbenet’s body was found in a flat belonging to the girlfriend of Jose Mendez, 40, in New York’s Bronx district, Tues. Oct. 26^th. 

Mendez believed the victim and his 25-year-old girlfriend were having a lesbian affair.  Police allege, Mendez stabbed the teenager inside his girlfriend’s apartment then wrapped her body in plastic and stuffed it into a cupboard.  WTF??  Most men I know would have been thrilled to hear their girlfriend had a girl on the side.  But in all seriousness this is nothing to kid about this was teenager who was brutally murdered. 

Luzbenet met Mendez’s girlfriend shortly after the passing of her father in May. 

Luzbenet went missing earlier in the week and was reported to be staying with the girlfriend at her apartment, when the two got into a fight about a possible tryst between the women.  He allegedly stabbed the teen multiple times in her torso.  Jeez… that is a violent attack. 

Mendez was arrested Wed. Oct. 27^th and charged with first-degree murder.

Taylor Manely and Raymond Bush

Taylor Manley, 15, of Evart, MI last spoke with her father before he left for work on Tues. night Oct. 26; she was to testify in court the next morning. 

She was supposed to up and ready when he arrived home Wed. morning from the night shift.  She was the main witness against Raymond Bush, 38, who faces 3^rd degree criminal sexual conduct for a relationship with her.  

When Robert Manley arrived home around 7:30 am, his daughter was gone.  He knew something was wrong and contacted the authorities immediately, prompting an Amber Alert. 

Taylor and Raymond were found dead in the back of Bush’s van parked in a cemetery in Newport, MI approximately 200 miles from her home.  She had been shot twice once in the head and the chest.  Bush was dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.  

Taylor’s father said she was afraid of him, she told her father he had threatened that he would “do something” if she testified. 

According to Bush’s family he was growing desperate, unemployed, broke, being evicted from his apartment and facing a sexual assault charge, he was spooked.  He had been involved with Taylor intimately, even tattooing her name on his neck.  When her mother learned of the relationship she notified the authorities.  Bush had told Taylor, he’d rather run than face the charges.  

According to Taylor’s family police told the family there were signs the door to Taylor’s father’s mobile home had been pried open, indicating she was abducted and that several hours had lapsed between her death and Bush’s suicide. 

In the days prior to the court date and murder, Bush had sent Taylor a barrage of text messages, nothing threatening, mostly telling her he loved her and asking for a return text or call.  

Taylor had moved with her father only 2 weeks prior to the murder because of the case, he was trying to take her away, trying to hide her and let her be a kid again.  Her father doesn’t believe she left willing, she didn’t seem to have a problem testifying against him. 

Bush was a family friend of Taylor and her mother and at some point the relationship turned sexual.  Bush was a father himself of 2 teens a boy and girl and was facing 15 years in prison if convicted.  

This is a sad story from start to finish… her you have a man according to his family was a lost soul looking for love that he thought he found in a child.  A young girl lost her life at the hands of a man she probably believed she loved too.   But if he had loved her that much he’d have waited to involve himself with her until she was of legal age to consent. 

I have never been able to understand how an adult can share any sort of intimate relationship with a child.  We as adults have nothing in common with a teenager, but we will never understand the dynamics here, there is no one left to tell us the story. 

 My heart goes out to Taylor’s family and Bush’s children.

Maria Hernandez-Reyes was found strangled to death in her home in Cumming, Georgia by her husband on the 13th of October. She had been raped and after being choked to death the dickhead robbed her.

Police in Forsyth County have found enough credible forensic evidence at the scene to tie 25-year-old Jorge Montiel of Cumming with the rape and murder.

Montiel has been charged with Aggravated Sodomy, Burglary and Murder and is still on the loose. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at 404-244-2600.

Aiyden Davis, 2 yrs. old

Look at the beatiful little boy above, what could he do to deserve to be beaten to death… well he kept messing up his ABC.    Aiyden Davis, 2, was found strangled and beaten to death, his mother Theresa Davis, 27 and her “abusive” boyfriend Reginald Williams, 31, have now been charged in his death.  

Two year old Aiyden, who would have turned 3 this month was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, his little body covered in old and new bruises.  According to police Davis, left her son in the care of her boyfriend while she was at work.  Pamela Davis, Theresa’s aunt and Aiyden’s regualr care giver, called 3x to check on things and make sure Aiyden was ok, by the 2nd call at 6:45 p.m., Williams told her he had spanked Aiyden and put him in the corner for “messing up his ABCs”.  WTF, he’s 2 yrs. old… I would have went over there then and put my foot in his ass, then but that’s just me.  When she called 2 hours later at 8:45 p.m., Williams said, “I’m sorry, P., I’m so sorry” but gave no reason for the apology.  Pamela reached out to her niece at work, but she brushed off her concerns and said everything was fine.  Aiyden was breathing but “not responsive” at 9:50 p.m., when Williams called 911 asking for help, when EMS arrived Aiyden was throwing up.  

TIME LINE:  

6:45 PM – Aunt Pamela calls and Aiyden has been spanked and put in the corner.  

8:45 PM – Aunt Pamela calls again and Williams apologizes for reasons unknown at the time.  

9:50 PM – 911 is called for an unresponsive child.  

10:38 PM – Aiyden is pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital  

4 hours between the 2nd check call and the hosptial, that is all it took to end his life.  A baby, an angel, a gift from god,  gone in 4 hours time.  

According to Aunt Pamela, Aiyden had told her “Reggie hit me and mama.”  When she question Aiyden’s mother, she said “no, no, everything is fine.”  

Williams admitted in a video tapped and written confession that he struck and body slammed Aiyden until his OWN hands hurt.  What kind of evil monster must this poor excuse for a human being be?  How could he do that, I can barely even type this, I am sick about it.  This poor baby, was left with a man rumored to be violent and abusive, and he was punished so severly for NOT knowing his ABCs, beaten so intensely the abuser hurt himself…. imagine that, if you can stomach the image.  Williams told prosecutors he had beat the child various times between Sept. 13 and Fri. Sept. 24, the day he died.  I’m sure his mother had NO idea this was going on… yeah Fucking right!   

Williams was charged with murder and manslaughter, and being held without bond.  I hope he rots there, Fucking piece of shit!  Theresa Davis, is charged with assault, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child.  If she had a weapon in the house why not use it on this Fucker… she probably LOVED him…. blah blah blah.  She’s being held on $150,000 bond.  

Poor baby Aiyden, died from blunt force injuries to the head and torso and internal bleeding.  One article stated he had lacerated liver, possibly caused from a belt.  I had a lacerated liver from a car seatbelt the  pain was unbearable, nothing and I mean nothing took the pain away,  I can not imagine being 2 yrs. old and dealing with that, as an adult I cried and cried.  

I HATE these 2 assholes with a passion, no one will ever change my opinion of the mother.  It appears the Aunt cared more about him than his mother did.

45-year-old Stanley Lamar Griffin of College Station, Texas has been arrested and charged with Murder and Causing Serious Bodily Injury to a Child after he brutally murdered Jennifer Marie Hailey and then attacked her 9-year-old son with a garden trowel.

According to police Griffin and Hailey knew each other and must have been at least somewhat involved because Griffin had tried to move in with the woman a few weeks ago and she refused.

Last Sunday evening Griffin went to the Hailey home for a visit 10 p.m. At some point after that the child walked into his mother’s room where he found Griffin sitting on top of Jennifer Hailey, choking her. Scared, the boy retreated to his room where Griffin attacked him with the trowel.

Luckily the child survived and even later called his grandmother who called 911. In the meantime his older brother arrived home and attempted CPR on his mother.

The little boy went through surgery Monday but managed to point Griffin out in a photo lineup after his surgery.

Griffin denied even knowing where Hailey lived but police recovered a bloody sock after executing a search warrant. He was jailed on a parole violation. Griffin received a 20-year-old sentence in 1990 for Burglary of a Habitation With a Deadly Weapon. He was released on parole in 2003 and was due to get off parole in November. He has also been arrested five times in the last five years for several misdemeanors including family violence and unlawful restraint.

Look at this beautiful baby boy,  Brett Dillion Jr, beaten to death by the above MONSTERS.

Now ask ask yourself… how does someone accused of beating a child to death not only go free without bond, but also leave the state?

That is exactly the case of the Monster above Melissa Bazilia.  Her son Brett Dillion Jr., died of head trauma just short of his 2nd birthday.  The egg donor is one of two people charged with murder in his death.  But now not only has a Tucson judge set her free without bond pending trial, he gave her permission to leave the state.  WHAT THE HELL???

The 911 call came in on Brett, late in July 2009, the claim…. (yep, you guessed it) he fell in the bathtub and hit his head.  He died 2 days later, soon Tucson police decided his death was NOT an accident, but child abuse, and murder. 

Melissa Bazilia, 20 and her boyfriend Ryan Sullivan, 32, were both arrested at the time and have been in jail (where they should ROT) waiting for trial for more than a year.  Their bond a cool… half million!

This week Judge Howard Fell agreed to let the female monster of the pair out of jail until her trial starts in February 2011, no bond just a promise to live with her father in Wisconsin. 

For Brett Dillion Sr. this just adds insult to injury.  When asked what he thought of her situation, he had this to say, ” I feel she should feel the same things he’s feeling right now.  Her being in jail right now is basically the same situation.  He’s not able to live free in the world and I don’t think she should either.”  Right on Brett… I could not agree more!

Bazilia’s attorney explained that she asked for her release when the prosecutors asked to push back the trial.  The delay was due to Sullivan’s attorneys addition of a new witness, that the prosecution needed to research.  Blah, Blah, Blah…  The Public Defender said the delay led to so many scheduling conflicts the trial slipped from this month to February.  That would lead to another 6 months in jail for Bazilia.  Well Boo-Fucking-Hoo for her!  So the judge, against the prosecutions objections and concerns Bazilia may be a flight risk, ordered her released anyway.  Way to go judge!

Her attorney says while she is with her father in Wisconsin, she will be required to check in several times a week, but will have no ankle bracelet or home visits from Wisconsin authorities.  What a freakin Joke… is this for real?  Now the court, the community and especially Brett Dillion Sr., can only hope she will keep her word and volunitarily come back to Arizona to face the charges that could (and hopefully will) put her in prison for a long time.

The face you see staring back at you up there is one of pure evil.  Yolanda  Jones, 35, dropped off the dead body of a 5 yr. old boy she is accused of beating to death at Midwest Regional Center before going into labor with her sixth child.  She has been charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder and is custody at Lake County Jail with a bond of $3 million.

At 3:27 pm on Sept. 6, Jones -  the described “caregiver” of the child brought the 5 yr. old boy into the hospital.   He was pronounced dead on arrival and had been dead for “many hours” before arriving at the hospital.    As she dropped of the dead body of the child, she was in the late stages of her pregnancy and was going into contractions, a rescue squad took her to another hospital and she gave birth the same day.  The child identified as Tommy Davis III, was the son of Jones’ boyfriend and father of 3 of her six children, including the newborn.

Tommy was found with extensive and visible bruising from the top of his head to his knees, with recent bleeding from his nose and ears.  The autopsy revealed he died from blunt force trauma to the head and brain and the incident is classified as “non-accidental.”  Jones told the hospital that the child fell on a parking block while running in the parking lot of the Sheridan Motel,  where they had been living.  Surveillance video of the parking lot only showed footage of Jones leaving the motel holding the limp body of the boy.

The investigation was initally delayed because detectives could not immeditaley interview Jones due to her medical condition after delivering the baby.  when she was released from the hospital she told the detectives that the boy had wet his bed and she “snapped” beating Tommy over a 2 day period , hitting him with a belt and banging his head off the bathub and floor.  Detectives also interviewed older children involved with apparently rehearsed inital accounts of the incident. 

Illinois DCFS had a previous case invloving Jones, all 6 of her children are in the care of the state.

What kind of monster can repeatedly beat a child for an accident and wetting the bed is an accident.  Where was this little boys father while this was going on?  It is scary to think what she may have done with his little body had there not been other children in the room, she is clearly capable of pure evil.  I can not imagine repeatedly bashing a 5 yr. olds head into the floor or bathtub for wetting the bed.  I am sick over this I have a 3 yr. old potty training at this very moment and trust me I do not enjoy cleaning pee soaked panties, pants, socks and shoes day after day but she doesn’t do it on purpose, and as a civilized person I know that.  This woman does NOT deserve th title “mother” she has no idea what it means and she has 6 children… 6 children, what have they been through?

Rest in Peace, Tommy, you did not deserve what you got but you are safe with the angels now!  :  (

Tulsa Police have arrested 23 yr. old Janette Mickelboro in the homicide of her infant son Hunter, 3 mos.

Hunter was pronounced dead after his father discovered him in his bassinet, not breathing.  Janette told police she had tied a receiving blanket around his face to hold his pacifier in place (WTF) then put him in a “bouncy” seat” on the morning of August 20.  When she checked on the baby several hours later (WTF x2), she discovered him to be “cold and stiff.”   She then untied and removed the blanket, took him from the bouncy seat and placed him in his bassinet where his father found him later.  I supposed it never occured to her to:

 1. hold her son and help him with the pacifer.

2. check on her infant atleast once in a “several” hour period.

3. call 911 when she found him “cold and stiff.”

Janette has been arrested on first degree murder and is being held on bond of $250,000, according to the arrest report.

As a mother, I have to say WTF, who does this shit?  What in the hell made this woman think wrapping a receiving blanket around an infant’s head was the solution to keeping his pacifier in place and then “several” hours later she finds him deceased.  What the hell was she doing for those several hours, my goodness, I could barely put my kids down at that age, shit they can barely escape my hugs and kisses now at 3 and 6.

WARNER ROBINS, GA – Sade Shamon King, 23, and William Thomas Davis III, 25, are charged with felony murder and cruelty to children in the death of their son D’Shawn Davis,2, according to the Houston County Sherriff .  The sheriff said “it really turned my stomach the way the child had been treated”, he called the news conferenceTuesday, to highlight the seriousness of the case, showing photographs of the emaciated body of the boy, under the condition the photos would not be duplicated or published.

D’Shawn weighed only 12 lbs. and 6 ozs. at the time of his death and his rectum showed signs of having been left in his own urine and feces.  The boy’s body has been decribed as not more than a skeleton, this poor baby my heart breaks for him.  The autospy ruled the cause of death malnutriton, bet they didn’t miss a meal though.. MONSTERS.

Davis called 911 on Saturday and reported the child was not breathing, arriving Houston Healthcare workers found the body of D’Shawn on the floor of the mother’s bedroom.  Why the parents, who are not married but are the biological parents, neglected the boy is not known yet.  Davis told authorities that he was away during the day often working 12 hr. shifts and had not noticed the boy deteriorating conditon.  Yeah right, I believe that would be impossible, a 2 yr old who barely weighs more than some newborns, try again daddy!

Mommy dearest had isolated the boy, relatives indicated it had been weeks since they had seen him and he had not received any medical care for 10 months prior to his death.  Every minute I spend typing this makes me want to freakin beat these 2 senseless,I am so ill right now.  A 5 yr. old female sibling, who only lived in the home for 6 weeks, is now staying with a grandmother.  No information has been released as to why she did not previously reside in the home. 

Nearly 3 yrs. ago Houston County Sheriff’s office investigated the death of 2 mo. old K’Ron Jarrell Davis, the son of the same couple.  Do we see a pattern here???  The infant died Oct. 25, 2007, the autopsy found that the baby died from “sudden unexplained infant death associated bed sharing”  the baby was sleeping with the mother.  The manner of death has been listed as “undetermined.”   Unless other information comes to light, investigators believe that death to be an accident.

The couple could face life in prison on the felony murder charge, and it was to early to determine whether the death penalty would be sought.

King and Davis showed NO emotion when arrested Monday night and both are being held without bond at the Houston County Jail.  Does this shock you?? They are cold hearted evil wastes of oxygen.

This poor baby we can only imagine what it was like for him to die this way, we all know how we feel just to be a little hungry, but to die of starvation and have the people who were supposed to care and love you be responsible.  He wasn’t old enough to even tell anyone what was happening even if the monster who calls herself his mother had let him see family members.  I need to go cry now!!

The P.O.S. up there aka “Kenneth Skinner” has a history of abuse on his girlfriend and children… well that abuse resulted in the death of his 7 month old son Triumph Skinner over the weekend.  The death was ruled as a homicide by the Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner based on a preliminary autopsy, but no results were released because the case remains under investigation.  Judge Kenneth Barlow stated Tuesday, “I find probable cause for first degree murder and the bond is set at NONE”  way to go Judge Barlow, I could kiss you!!!

Skinner 30, was arrested on 1 count of aggravated child abuse, but now faces a first-degree murder charge, during the hearing he stood in front of the judge with his hand over his face.  Funny he was man enough to beat his infant son but NOT man enough to look the judge in the face… FUCKING COWARD!

Triumph, was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where doctors discovered a perforated bowel, a severly fractured skull and numerous fractured ribs which were in various stages of healing.  Are you pissed yet? well I am not done!  The poor lil guy was rushed into surgery but died.

During an interview with the mother she intially said she was in the bathroom getting ready for work when the baby fell from his bed and hit his head on something.  She later changed her story and stated Skinner, her boyfriend and father of her 2 children – a 7 yr. old girl and Triumph was caring for the children while she was at work.

The problems started Saturday evening when the mother arrived home from work she stated Triumph was very “lethergic and moaning” and when she tried to feed him he threw up, and Skinner had told her, he “roughed” him up.  WAIT! WHAT… he roughed him up, and he was still standing there breathing after making that comment… not if it was my kid.  Oh and the baby was NOT taken to the hospital at that very momment, instead everyone went to bed and mom went to work at 7 am the next day.  At around 11am the P.O.S. called mom and told her she needed to come home immediately because he he had “hurt” the baby on accident,  really???  When she arrived home the baby was on the bed not breathing and Skinner had said he “slammed” the lil guys head against the couch, and that is an “accident” how???

P.O.S. told his 7 yr old daughter to tell the police he was not at home and she was asleep when lil Triumph was injured… COWARD, COWARD, COWARD, and oh yeah he also asked the girlfriend to lie as well, instead of knocking his freakin teeth out she tells him to leave and she will call 911… excuse me! WTF?  Mom’s excuse she was abused by him in the past and was afraid of him, apparently she had bruises on her face and neck.  Now I don’t know how anyone else feels but if I want to stay and take a beating from you then that’s my business but you hurt my kids and we have a real problem, I can not wrap my mind around that.  Here she has the opportunity to protect herself and her kids and she covers for him, I don’t understand it.

Skinner, of course, denied knowing his child was hurt and went on to say he came home drunk Friday and stepped on his son and “could” have caused the injuries.  He had NO idea how the baby’s skull was got fractured, but he regularly tosses the baby in the air and dropped him on accident once and that may have caused the skull fracture and rib fractures.

The family has been under DCF’s radar for some years, there was a report of child abuse in 2004.  In that case Skinner told deputies he has used a belt on his then 2 yr old daughter and plead guilty to child abuse, a 3rd degree felony.

The 7 yr old child has been placed in foster care.

This poor baby was failed in so many ways and never had a chance with monster like that for a father.  Why, Why, Why?

 Triumph’s mother Michelle Marie Ford has been arrested and charged with child neglect.  She is being held without bond in the Orange County Jail.

Their 7 yr. old daughter now identified as Brittany Ford, was interviewed by Florida DCF where she told them that she is afraid of “daddy, he “scares” her.  She also told them the Skinner will choke her baby brother until he “can’t breath” when he cries everyday.  Brittany told DCF, “Daddy doesn’t understand that Triumph is just a baby.”  Sounds like Brittany is smarter than both her parents combined and a very brave little girl.  Good Girl Brittany!

If you couldn’t tell from the serious lack of posting I haven’t been online, not even on Facebook, which means I missed this story from three days ago.

42-year-old convicted murderer Lynn Turner of Atlanta died in Metro State Prison in Atlanta on Monday. The cause of death is under investigation but authorities reported that Turner was found in her cell early Monday morning and that medical staff and EMT crews weren’t able to revive her.

Turner was convicted in 2007 for the 1995 murder of her husband Maurice Turner and the 2001 murder of boyfriend Randy Thompson. Both men were killed by poisoning with antifreeze.

51-year-old Timothy Dale Rose has been arrested and charged with murder after decapitating his girlfriend, 48-year-old Jan Dunn Keller, and elementary school teacher in St. Augustine, Florida.

Keller was reported missing on Monday and when deputies went to the home they shared on Tuesday night they found Rose unconscious and lying next to an empty pill bottle and a shotgun. They also found part of Keller’s dismembered body wrapped in a tarp in the garage. Other body parts were found buried nearby in a wooded area.

Rose was released from Flagler Hospital Wednesday and was arrested and charged with the murder after he was questioned by St. Johns County deputies. He has been lodged in the county jail without bond.

63-year-old Eddie Lee Anthony of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was arrested earlier this week in Bradley, Illinois after he murdered the mother of his children in Milwaukee.

Anthony was arguing with 43-year-old Sabrina Junior at her home and the argument was loud and violent enough to force their three youngest daughters to hide in the closet. The oldest of the three, 11, saw her father walk into her mother’s bedroom with a 10-inch ice pick . She didn’t see what happened next but heard her mother scream and then it stopped.

Anthony walked out of the room and told the girls to stay in their room. He packed a suitcase and left through the back door. Just as he was leaving the oldest sister, 17, returned home. Her sisters came out of their closet crying right after she found her mother stabbed to death with the ice pick.

Anthony is in the Milwaukee County Jail charged with Murder.

I’ve written a few times over the last year about Leah Freeman. It boils down to the fact that a 15-year-old girl disappeared ten years ago and was later found murdered. Law enforcement dropped the ball and a murderer got away with it. Sure, there are a lot of other details which you can look up at the link above as well as some of the other web sites linked from there but that’s about the gist of it.

The thing is that Cory Courtright, Leah’s mother, wasn’t satisfied with that answer (which was no answer at all). She started what originated as a one-woman crusade to get the case reopened. It took several years but as I mentioned earlier this year, the case was reopened with a fresh look at old evidence.

After reviewing the evidence and calling many witnesses a Grand Jury in Coos County, Oregon has indicted 28-year-old Nicholas James McGuffin with Murder. Nick was Leah’s boyfriend at the time of her disappearance and subsequent murder.

McGuffin was arrested yesterday afternoon and has been lodged in the Coos County Jail on $2,000,000 bond. He is due to be arraigned this morning.

National Night Out is an anti-crime program country-wide and in Canada that’s been running for the last 27 years. This year it was held on August 3rd, except in Texas where they are doing it in October. Depending on where you are there are block parties and other gatherings designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and generate support for local anti-crime initiatives.

39-year-old Robert Godfrey (not pictured) was an attendee at one of the 24 block parties in Paterson, New Jersey. Allegedly he and 30-year-old Marlon Rochester got into an argument in the midst of a crowd at the party and Rochester pulled a handgun fatally shooting Godfrey in the head.

Rochester turned himself in to police on Wednesday and is charged with Murder as well as weapon offenses. He is being held on $1 Million bond.

911 was called Sunday night in Bartow, Florida after a man was stabbed by a relative through marriage.

42-year-old Mauricio Mendez Lopez was allegedly upset because Macario Cruz was having an affair with his brother’s wife, Lopez’s niece. Rather than just talk to the man or just suggest marriage counseling (or better yet, mind his own fucking business) Lopez entered the home and stabbed his niece’s husband in the back and then stabbed Cruz to death and then drank his blood in what has been termed a “strange ritual from their native Mexico”. Lopez, Cruz, his brother and his sister-in-law all shared the same home.

Lopez was captured Wednesday night. He is lodged in the Polk County jail with no bond on charged of Murder, Aggravated Battery With a Deadly Weapon, Battery and Aggravated Assault.`

Lopez initially confronted the lovers back on July 24th, hitting Cruz with a weight and threatening to kill them both if they didn’t stop, then chasing them with a knife.

Update – The version of the story above that I picked up over at FOX may not be entirely accurate. I’ve come across some other information that makes the relationships a bit clearer.

Cruz and his brother lived in the home along with the sister of Cruz’s wife, who lives in Mexico. The woman, Mariella Mendez, and her children all live in the home. Lopez is the uncle of both of the women.

Police in Carrollton, Georgia have found what they believe to be the body of University of West Georgia student Marcelle Elliott from a swampy area along Laurel Road. They found her shortly after eleven last night. The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for positive identification.

Two suspects in the murder have been arrested and charged. They are currently lodged in the Carroll County jail. They are 31-year-old Joshua Clay and 29-year-old Farrah Strength, both of Carrollton.

Farrah Strength apparently admitted her role in the murder to police yesterday during questioning and told police where to locate her body. They aren’t releasing the motive yet but Strength and Elliott were good friends until about a year ago. Strength allegedly lured Elliott to Carrollton last Thursday.

Strength was questioned because Elliott’s phone records led police to her and she was interviewed several times before she admitted to the crime, lying to the family and police in order to make them believe she was helping them out.

Updated 8/3/10 – According to someone I spoke to with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department Farrah Strength has confessed to having strangled Marcy Elliott. She and Joshua Clay then loaded Marcy’s body in a car and dumped her in a swampy area.

39-year-old Jesse Dean Driskill is facing two counts of Murder as well as Armed Criminal Action and Burglary and the deaths of Coleen and Johnnie Wilson near Bennett Springs State Park in Missouri. Police found their bodies Monday night at their home, which had been set on fire. Both of the victims had traumatic injuries to their heads and there were signs that Coleen may have also been raped. During the investigation police discovered that one of their cars was missing, which was found on fire beside a road in Dallas County.

Someone called police early Tuesday to tell them that they had picked up Driskill near where the car was found and they they had given him a ride to Lebanon, Missouri. The caller also said that Driskill had confessed to several crimes. Apparently he told more than one person that he had broken into a home and that after the owners caught him he raped an elderly woman and then shot the two of them in the head.

Police found blood stained clothing in a trash bag where he was staying and arrested him early Tuesday morning.

This could have easily been prevented had this jerk been in jail where he should have been:

• In 1999 he was convicted of Burglary and placed on 5 years probation, which was later revoked and he spent the entire 5 years in prison.
• 1999 – Convicted of Trespassing.
• 2002 – Convicted for Assault.
• 2003 – Paroled
• 2004 – Sent back to prison for violating parole.
• March 2007 – released from prison
• 2007 – Convicted for Domestic Assault, served one year in prison after his probation was revoked. He was released in June of 2008.
• 2008 – Convicted for Assault – five years probation and long term drug treatment.
• 2008 – Tampering with evidence – Two years in prison.
• 2009 – Burglary – TWO four year prison sentences and long term drug treatment (24 months)
• June 9th 2010 – Granted parole.

So Driskill was paroled after one year when he was supposed to serve eight AND be in long-term drug treatment. Hopefully someone on the board of paroles is feeling the heat right about now.

Driskill has been jailed on a probation violation as well as the murders which means no bail will be set.

Douglas County, Georgia third grade teacher 31-year-old Katie Parvu was found dead at home on Saturday after 911 was called to a Douglasville home.

The death was ruled a homicide earlier today and Landel Batiste of Douglasville was charged with concealing her death. He has not been charged with murder. He man was lodged in the Douglas County jail.

Katie graduated from Spring Arbor University in Michigan in 2002 and has been teaching at Sweetwater Elementary School in Douglas County since 2006. Prior to that she taught in New Mexico for two years.

I don’t have any more information on the case currently but will see what I can find tomorrow.

Updated 7/28/10 – Douglas County Schools released a statement earlier today (Wednesday) which said, "Obviously we are very shocked and grieved with this very tragic event. We will be working very closely with the school and Ms. Parvu’s family in the coming days to help them through this most difficult situation."

Updated 7/29/10 – 25-year-old Landel Batiste of Douglasville is the man who was charged with Concealing a Death. He apparently discovered the body of Katie Parvu several days before calling police. He has been named a person of interest but is not considered a suspect in the murder at this time. Batiste is currently on probation from other convictions and was an acquaintance of Parvu’s. Apparently he told a friend about Batiste and that friend called a Douglas County deputy.

Batiste had a magistrate hearing on Tuesday and was denied bond due to his probation violation.

Police believe that Parvu knew who were killer was. The Coroner has also released the cause of death. It was announced that she was strangled to death. Due to the fact that decomposition had already begun it’s possible that some of the forensic evidence was damaged.

Investigators are still following several leads and interviewing people.

Mechanics always seem to have the worst cars. Landscapers always need their yards cut. Doctors (used to be) very heavy smokers and not always in the best of health. These are all generalizations but to a point they seem to ring true and I guess you can add another to the list now. Marriage Counselors can be in need of counseling themselves.

Tonya Hunter, a marriage counselor in Cleveland, Ohio, met Maurice Lyons in an anger management class where she was the teacher and he was the student. Right off that probably should have been a clue for her but it was obviously not enough. The two ended up getting married last December after Lyons got out of prison, where he had spent the last three years.

Lyons and Hunter have been separated and Lyons went to Chicago. Recently he threatened to drive down to Cleveland to kill Hunter, who  had filed for divorce. He made several threatening phone calls to her. She reported the threat to the Cleveland Police Department. She also had the locks changed at her office.

Lyons already had a warrant out for his arrest. Back in March Lyons punched Hunter at least one time in the back of the head during an argument and then followed Tonya and her son to a barber shop. Lyons threatened her, telling the woman that if he went to jail he was going to come back and kill her. He ended up leading no contest to domestic violence and put on probation. He was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor and he had also tested positive for drugs. At the time he showed up and killed Tonya Hunter there was already a warrant out for his arrest.

Tonya Hunter was found stabbed to death in her garage Monday after a witness saw Lyons drop Hunter’s four-year-old son off about eight miles from the home. The witness called the police and the little boy told them his mother had been stabbed.

Maurice Lyons was located and arrested later on in the day and is lodged in the Cleveland jail. He has not yet been charged. The little boy was in custody of DFCS until family members can decided who is going to take care of him.

Lyons apparently had quite a record. He served a ten-year stint for carjacking and was arrested several times in Illinois and Missouri between 1989 and 1998.

What’s up with all the stories about ugly old women trying to kill their husbands and in some cases succeeding.

Anyway, deputies were called to the home of Richard Meisner Shreiner and Carol Jean Schreiner last Friday afternoon on a suspicious death investigation. They found Richard Schreiner dead on the scene. The Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit and Clackamas County Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation at that point.

Investigators worked through the weekend to interview possible witnesses and follow up on leads after the medical examiner announced Friday that Richard had died from a gunshot wound.

investigators from the Clackamas County, Oregon Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit arrested Carol Schreiner about 10:30 this morning on probable cause of murder after she surrendered to detectives at the Clackamas County jail.

31-year-old Betty Jo Fowler, 39-year-old Teresa Fowler Straight were with Straight’s boyfriend and her brother, who is also Fowler’s husband. They were partying at the American Legion Post in Palm Bay, Florida on Sunday night.

Apparently the two women got into an argument over what Straight perceived to be Fowler’s flirty behavior with a DJ at the bar. The argument went out into the parking lot where Fowler hopped into her Dodge Caravan and backed over the other three.

All three adults were knocked to the ground and then Fowler accelerated and ran over Straight again as she left the parking lot.

The hilarity doesn’t end there though.

They apparently contacted Fowler on her cell phone and convinced her to come back and pick them up. Instead of calling 911 they drove Fowler home where her four kids had been left to fend for themselves and then drove Straight to the hospital where she died from her injuries. 45 minutes had passed from the time she was run over before they got her to the hospital, the bunch of fucktards.

Betty Jo Fowler is currently cooling her heels in the Brevard County jail charged with Vehicular Homicide, Leaving the Scene of a Crash With Injuries and Driving Without a License. DCF has been notified about the kids being left home alone while their birth vessels were out partying and police are considering pressing charges against the two dumbasses who were also involved, particularly since the two men and Fowler originally tried to give police a cock and bull story about Straight being hit by another car. The entire incident at the Legion was caught on security video, which the prosecutor will be using as evidence.

The man woman above is 58-year-old Dorothy M. Cascone of Kansas City. She was arrested and charged back at the beginning of July with allegedly trying to hire someone to kill her ex-husband.

Cascone contacted someone to try and hire them to kill her ex-husband. She told him to shoot him while he was at home asleep. She wanted it to happen around midnight on the 4th because the ‘fireworks and other guns would be going off’. He told her he couldn’t kill her ex that night.

Later Cascone provided the man with a loaded .38 and told him that she wanted him to put a silencer on the handgun. She gave him three handwritten maps of his home and it included the rooms where her ex would sleep as well as where a female companion would be sleeping, where the doors and windows were located and where a safe was located.

She also took him to the K-Mart to buy black shoes, pants and a shirt to wear for the murder. She was also going to alter the clothing by sewing socks onto the black t-shirt so that it had long sleeves. Cascone gave him $1,000 as partial payment for the murder. She told the man that she was going to get her insurance office to pay the premiums on the life insurance policies that she had on her ex-husband that were due to expire on July 8th.

Of course the supposed ‘hit-man’ took her $1 grand and went to the FBI. Cascone was arrested and charged with Assault and lodged in the Clay County jail.

19-year-old David Sparre (Facebook) of Georgia, who police think murdered a woman he met through Craigslist was arrested this weekend in Charleston, South Carolina.

Tiara Pool, who’s husband is currently deployed at sea, posted an ad on Craigslist and Sparre answered the personal advertisement. The two met in Jacksonville, Florida after communicating over the phone for a few days. They drove back to her apartment where she was stabbed multiple times.

Sparre left the complex in her car and abandoned it near where the two had met. After investigating Pool’s computer the Jacksonville police announced this morning that Sparre was a suspect. He was found this weekend by the U.S. Marshall’s Service at a relative’s home in Charleston.

David Sparre has apparently confessed to the murder but investigators are not yet releasing a motive in the killing. From what I’ve read he didn’t give them a reason. He is currently lodged in the Charleston County jail until he can be extradited to Florida.

60-year-old Jesse James Warren, the man who allegedly killed three people and wounded two more at the Penske truck rental place in Kennesaw, Georgia, pleaded not guilty Friday at his arraignment in Cobb County Superior Court.

Warren, who apparently lives in Temple near the Casa Obvious, sat quietly while the DA read the 16 charges which include murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, aggravated battery and assault. The Cobb County DA will be seeking the death penalty in the case.

In April of 2009 18-year-old Sarah Ludemann of Pinellas Park, Florida was getting ready to attend the senior prom, graduate high school and had planned on becoming a veterinarian. Instead of her dreams the young woman ended up in a casket six feet under, the victim of her competitor in a love triangle.

Sarah had been dating Josh Camacho for several months. Problem is he was dating at least one other woman and possibly several more. Only one of them murdered Sarah though, 19-year-old Rachel Wade.

Wade was one of the women that Camacho was dating at the same time as Ludemann but the ‘competition’ between these two young women turned vicious. According to Wade’s defense several months of vicious taunts, phone calls and threats finally came to a head when Ludemann and several friends went looking for Wade.

Regardless of how it began it ended with Wade stabbing Ludemann in the heart in an attack that was so brutal it bent the knife blade. As Sarah lay dying in the parking lot Rachel Wade had nothing to say except to ask one of the cops if he had a cigarette.

Several months before their final confrontation Rachel, who claims she acted in self-defense, left a nasty voice mail for Sarah. “Now your ass is mine and I’m guaranteeing I’m gonna fucking murder you”. The voice mail was also played in court and you can just about guarantee that it sealed her fate.

The jury deliberated less than three hours found Rachel Wade guilty of second-degree murder last week. She faces a minimum of 20-years in prison.

Back in May of 2009 the creepy bastard pictured above, 38-year-old Shawne Rust Farrar, was charged with Murder and Abuse of a Corpse in the killing of 22-year-old Nita Michelle Clayborn of Boaz, Alabama. He was released on bond in June of the same year.

Etowah County investigators and drug task force agents paid a visit to Farrar’s home Monday night and brought a search warrant with them. It was no surprise what they found.

Farrar has been arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He is currently being held without bond in the Etowah County Jail where he will hopefully stay until his murder trial.

47-year-old Carlotta Susann Kutschenreuter of Hokes Bluff, Alabama has been arrested and charged with murder after her husband was found shot to death in his bed early Tuesday.

The couple’s son arrived home from his graveyard shift and found his father Tuesday morning, calling 911 shortly after 5:30 a.m.

According to police 53-year-old Joel David Kutschenreuter was shot three times while he was asleep in his bed.

Carlotta is currently lodged in the Etowah County Jail on $100,000 bond.

15-year-old Alan Watson disappeared in August of 2001 in Atlanta on his way to see a movie. Up until last year there’s been no trace of the boy and his family has just been left wondering what happened to him.

Last year a surveyor stumbled on a skull in the woods and through dental records Watson was identified. After Alan’s photo was shown on TV news stations in Atlanta the Fulton County Police received a bunch of calls pointing to 35-year-old Dion Simms as the killer. He was arrested back at the end of May of this year.

Police aren’t saying what the tips were but it was obviously enough to look into Simms and charge him. After an investigation a Fulton County Grand Jury has indicted Simms, who is now lodged in the Fulton County Jail waiting on his trial.

Back in early October of last year I told you about Dustin Hilt and his two buddies Gerald Calbeck and Joseph Mattox. The three douchebags brutally murdered 18-year-old Keighley Ann Alyea after Keighley intervened in an argument between her sister and Hilt, who Keighley had broken up with.

After kidnapping Keighley by sticking her in the trunk of their car and driving to a remote field they choked her, bashed in her skull, stabbed her 30 times and set her on fire.

All three men pleaded not guilty to the crime. Calbeck and Mattox have yet to go to trial but Dustin Hilt was found guilty of Murder, Robbery and Kidnapping and this past Tuesday the judge sentenced Hilt to 50 years for the murder plus another 19 for the robbery and kidnapping.

Porn Actress Amanda Kaye Logue of Leesburg, Georgia and her lover (also a porn actor) Jason Andrews of Chicago have been arrested and charged with murder two months after the death of tattoo artist Dennis Abrahamsen of Tampa, Florida.

41-year-old Abrahamsen was found dead in his home on May 15th, stabbed and bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer after hiring Logue to have sex on camera at a private party at his house.

28-year-old Amanda Logue and 27-year-old Jason Andrews met on the set of a porn shoot late last year and allegedly fell in love. At some point earlier this summer the pair hatched a plan to kill Abrahamsen and sent text messages to each other about their plan.

Both Logue and Andrews were arrested on May 18th after trying to use Abrahamsen’s credit card at Home Depot but due to lack of evidence they had to be released. Logue was re-arrested in Leesburg on May 26th and Andrews was arrested this past Thursday in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A Grand Jury in Florida were indicted on Murder charges earlier in the week.

There are plenty of stories around the net detailing the murders as well as plenty of other information, which is one of the reasons I was a bit brief with this.

Two years ago tomorrow, police in Shelby County, Alabama received a 911 call of an “unresponsive person”. When they arrived they found 11-year-old Katherine Helen Gillespie shot in the head and stuffed in a garbage can. Ryan Russell was found lying unconscious in the bathroom and taken to the hospital to be treated.

Just days later 37-year-old Ryan Gerald Russell was arrested for the murder and is still being held without bond in the Shelby County Jail awaiting his trial.

Russell was apparently in the process of adopting Gillespie at the time of her death. The two were adopted cousins and Russell was her legal guardian.

Police haven’t revealed what they consider the motive or reason behind the murder, if there even is one, but from some accounts I’ve come across Ryan Russell was an extremely selfish person who also had drug and alcohol issues. According to a report by NBC 13 back in October 2008 the autopsy report also showed that Katherine had been sexually abused.

While I have posted crime stories off and on since I started blogging in the nineties it was the Natalee Holloway disappearance that really intrigued me and got me interested in crime blogging. It would be a few more years before I would make the switch and write about crime exclusively but Natalee and Joran van der Sloot turned on that little light bulb for me.

Van der Sloot has been in the news and on this site many times over the last five years, most recently when the German news agency RTL managed to get another confession out of him in 2009. He claimed to have dumped Holloway’s body in a marsh. Personally I think he just wanted another payday and that’s all the interview was about.

Anyway, Joran has apparently confessed to murdering 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez in Lima, Peru. According to most of the news sites I’ve come across since MSNBC posted this late last night Flores apparently saw information on his laptop about his involvement in Natalee Holloway’s murder or that tied him to it when she went snooping after he stepped out for coffee. When he was her on his computer Joran became enraged.

Van der Sloot reportedly said “I did not want to do it. The girl intruded into my private life… she didn’t have any right.” I suppose as far as he was concerned that was enough for him to beat Stephany Flores to death and break her neck. Asshole.

Flores was found on June 1st by a receptionist at the hotel. A call had come from someone looking for van der Sloot and after she forwarded it nobody answered. About an hour later the receptionist noticed that he still owed money for two nights and went up to the room. Her knocks went unanswered and the television was blaring.

The receptionist’s boss told her to go back to the room and enter it using the spare key. She made a gruesome discovery at that point, finding Flores dead, clad only in a t-shirt and panties. Van der Sloot was nowhere to be found, having fled the hotel, and the country, about 8:30 that morning.

Van der Sloot was found in Chile on Thursday and arrested. He was returned to Peru on Friday.

He is slated to participate in a reenactment of the murder for the police in Lima today and could also be formally charged today as well.

On June 3, 2010, Van der Sloot was charged in the U.S. District Court of Northern Alabama with wire fraud and extortion for the amount of US$250,000 in exchange for information on the location of Natalee Holloway’s body and the circumstances surrounding her death. The criminal complaint filed with the court reveals that an advance amount of $15,000 had been wired from Alabama to the Netherlands on May 10, 2010. This followed a cash payment on the same day to Van der Sloot of $10,000 that was videotaped by undercover investigators in Aruba. Authorities determined the information that Van der Sloot provided in return turned out to be false. Holloway’s mother, Beth Twitty, notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the extortion plot for the money, which was used by Van der Sloot to finance his trip to Lima, Peru. U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance issued an arrest warrant to go through Interpol in an effort to prosecute Van der Sloot in the United States. On June 4, at the request of the U.S. Justice Department, authorities raided and confiscated items from two homes in the Netherlands, one of them belonging to reporter Jaap Amesz who had previously interviewed Van der Sloot and claimed knowledge of his criminal activities. Police in Aruba are preparing to launch new searches on the island for Holloway’s remains near a hotel where she was last seen and a dam at Monserat.

I’ve followed this story a little loosely over the last few days, not because I had any plans to write about it, more just out of interest because it was a crime and that’s what I do. Over the last 36 hours it’s really gotten freaky so I figured I would post it here. Be aware that many of the links in this post are NOT SAFE FOR WORK, so don’t blame me if you click on one and don’t like what you see.

34-year-old Stephen Clancy Hill a.k.a. Steve Driver had been living in the offices of Ultima DVD, the company that employed him as a production worker and sometime porn actor. He was apparently going to be fired for inappropriate conduct and forced to move out. Hill must have gotten word of the impending dismissal and his reaction was nothing if not explosive.

On Tuesday Hill attacked at least two co-workers at Ultima with a Samurai Sword as well as another victim who worked next door and came to help after hearing their screams. Three people ended up being transported to the hospital and one of them, 30-year-old porn actor Herbert Hin Wong a.k.a. Tom Dong, died from his injuries.

Hill took off in his blue 1996 Toyota RAV4 and the manhunt began.

A witness in the West Hills area of Los Angeles spotted Hill’s Toyota early Saturday morning and called the police to report it and thus began a standoff on the edge of a cliff which lasted for about eight hours, ending in Hill’s death. He had threatened throughout the day to kill himself and shouted as much to the press below. He told them it “wasn’t supposed to end this way”

After being tased Hill made good on his threat and jumped off the cliff. The video below is NOT for the squeamish and shows the man jumping to his death. Definitely not safe if your kids are around.

Steve’s MySpace page is still online here (and another one here) and over the last few days people have made several comments there ranging from friends who were concerned about him to comments such as “you killed Tom? fuck you Steve…fuck you…I hope you burn in hell!” Pretty much my sentiment as well.

Prior to Hill’s death the producers of Ultima DVD offered a $2,000 reward for information on Hill on their Twitter profile as well as their blog.

Maybe he was just joking around…but maybe not. Back on March 9th Hill’s MySpace status read “When I’m upset I wanna kill everybody, when I’m happy I wanna fucking Kill everybody, hell Im fuck homicidal maniac!!!” Screenshot is below.

Maybe I’m just reading too much into it but judging from the very few personal comments on his page Hill had some serious issues. Not to mention the fact that since he was living at work he obviously had more than one problem. I would suspect at the least drugs and possibly severe emotional issues as well.

Steve Hill had a criminal history prior to moving to L.A. He was convicted of Assault With a Firearm in 1999 for threatening to kill his instructor at the University of Maryland for not giving him an “A”, allegedly telling the teacher that he was “a mobster and would dismember the instructor’s body if he didn’t get the grade” according to a story in the Washington Post in 1999.

Around three o’clock this past Sunday morning 18-year-old Yoselin Torres Tovar told her parents that she wasn’t feeling very well and needed to go to the hospital.

Being concerned they took her there but when hospital workers noticed signs that Tovar had very recently given birth but had no baby there, they informed the authorities.

Police arrived at Tovar’s home and found the newborn baby hidden in Yoselin’s closet. Quite dead unfortunately. According to the police the baby was born full term. Only problem is that she suffered multiple stab wounds to her torso. Tovar allegedly birthed the child and then almost immediately stabbed her to death.

Tovar is lodged in the Orange County California Jail charged with Murder and Child Abuse with a sentencing enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury. She is going to be arraigned Friday.

One thing that’s really sad about this is that California’s Safe Haven law allows parents to drop off unwanted newborns at any fire station or hospital within the first 72 hours with NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Demario Atwater, one of the two fucktards responsible for the kidnapping and murder of UNC student body president Eve Carson in 2008 has pleaded guilty to federal charges.

Atwater pleaded guilty yesterday to Carjacking Resulting in Dead and Kidnapping among other charges. Prosecutors agreed to a plea deal to not seek the death penalty in exchange.

Atwater and then-17-year-old Laurence Lovette (who was 17 and not eligible for the death penalty) kidnapped Carson, an Athens, Georgia resident, and took her to an ATM where she was forced to withdraw several hundred dollars before brutally murdering her.

Atwater, along with Lovette, still face charges in the state of North Carolina.

A couple of days just prior to Christmas this last year I posted about Jesse James Kilgore, Benjamin Kelly Mullinax and the murders of Jen and Paul Budrawich up in Dawson County, Georgia. It’s a beautiful part of the state but their was nothing at all beautiful about the heinous murders that Kilgore committed with the help of Mullinax.

To make a long story short Mullinax lured Jennifer and Paul Budrawich to a meeting with Kilgore where they were kidnapped and killed. It was all over a weird child custody deal that just really brings out the southern stereotypes we all hate so much.

Jesse James Kilgore is married to Jennifer Budrawich’s mom. Prior to that he was her uncle by marriage as well but that didn’t seem to matter much to him because one of Jennifer’s children was also fathered by Kilgore as well. ??? Considering he ain’t so good looking he must have the magical schlong.

Anyway, Kilgore ended up taking the couple down to the Amicalola River where he shot them both and dumped their bodies in the river where they were later found due to the fact that Jennifer had managed to call 911 shortly before being murdered. Unfortunately law enforcement wasn’t able to find out who/were they were in time to stop the crime.

Mullinax pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to two life terms. He’ll be eligible for parole in about 30 years. Jesse James Kilgore also pleaded guilty three days ago but he ended up being sentenced to life without parole for his part in masterminding the murders.

Over at Jennifer’s MySpace a friend left a comment which pretty much says it all, “Hey Jen it’s karen. Today we go to watch that son of a bitch that hurt you and Paul so much be sentenced.  If you ask me no punishment in this world will be enough to make up for the pain that piece of shit caused you and Paul over the years.  You guys were so happy had he just left you the hell alone.  Well cuz justice will be served.  We love and miss you guys so much”

42-year-old Evelyn Burgess of Ohio enjoys having family gatherings at her home and Easter is no different. Various cousins and other family members attend and while most of them wear what is considered “proper” attire 19-year-old Danielle Pickens prefers her short shorts and skirts along with a T-shirt. In the past this hasn’t seemed to be a huge issue but apparently this Easter Burgess took offense to Picken’s comfortable clothing. Hell, I’m glad she didn’t show up at my house to see me walking around naked with my bunny ears on…

Anyway, Burgess got into a fight with Pickens over her choice of clothing and was very clear in her distaste of Danielle’s T-shirt and jean shorts. She disliked the hoochie clothing so much that she shot her and then called 911.

After the shooting Burgess picked up the phone and called emergency services, telling them that she had shot her niece (actually her cousin) during a fight. “I just shot my niece” she said during the call. “I didn’t mean to do it. We was arguing. I tried to get my gun to prove a point, they got my rifle with me and it went off.”

Prove a point she did.

The point is that she is fucking nuts.

Danielle Pickens died at a Columbus hospital early Monday morning and Burgess, who is lodged in the Franklin County Jail on $500,000 bond has been charged with murder.

Back in 1985 then-13-year-old Billy Ray White shot and killed J.D. Hall of Douglasville, Georgia in cold blood with a gun he had stolen from another home in the area and then attempted to steal a truck from the man.

White, who had been turned away from the nut house Anneewakee in Douglas County because they didn’t have any beds, had escaped a few days earlier from the case worker who had driven him up from Florida. He lived for a few days by breaking into houses and cars until he ran into Hall.

Hall’s wife, Barbara, called the police that morning thinking that someone was trying to steal a truck from them and Deputies arrived on the property before he was able to escape.

White was convicted of Murder, Armed Robbery and Theft of a Motor Vehicle in 1985 and sentenced to two life terms plus ten years. He’s currently lodged in the Dooly State Prison. He became eligible for parole in 2006 and was denied but the parole board is considering putting him in a halfway house for nine months in preparation for his release.

I don’t guess I have much of a problem with people being released after they have paid their debt to society but the problem here is that Billy Ray White is a crazy son of a bitch. While in prison he has written letters to Hall’s widow and their children threatening their lives. In one letter, according to the Times-Georgian, White wrote “I might be 39 or 40 when I get out, but I’ll still be in prime shape…first time you turn your head, I’ll be there…I want to hear you beg and scream for mercy, but I have no mercy for you.”

He signs his letters Charles Manson. Later in that particular letter quoted above he says “They say I’m a psychopathic killer and they are right. One day, and I do promise, I will come after you.”

Holy shit! And this is the guy they want to parole? The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles must be out of their ever-loving fucking minds. The board is appointed by the Governor of Georgia and everyone needs to keep that in mind come election time. The current chair of the board is  L. Gale Buckner who is serving until December 31st 2011. She was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue. You can contact her at gale_buckner@pap.state.ga.us to voice your opposition to this fiasco. The good thing is that the board falls under the jurisdiction of the Georgia Supreme Court and as such it’s rulings can be overturned by the court.

Updated 7/15/10 – The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles has denied parole for Billy Ray White. He is eligible again to be reconsidered in April of 2011

23-year-old Robert Smith of College Park, Georgia has been arrested and lodged in the Fulton County Jail without bond following the murder of his brother early Sunday morning.

Police were called Easter morning after Smith fatally shot Raymond Brewer. They spent the day searching for him and he finally turned himself in to police around 3pm yesterday afternoon. Details are still pretty sketchy and police say they don’t currently have a motive.

26-year-old Israel Mireles, the piece of crap who was convicted back in February for the November 2007 brutal slaying of Internet model Emily Sander, was sentenced to death yesterday.

During his trial Mireles’ attorney claimed that a so-called mystery man had killed Sander in Mireles’ hotel room while he was out and then Mireles dumped the body because he was afraid. In all actuality what he did was to savagely rape and kill Sander and then flee to Mexico with his 16-year-old girlfriend like the pile of dogshit he really is.

I ran across this story over at True Crime Report yesterday and have been toying with the idea of sharing it with you fine folks ever since. Pete Kotz is right about one thing, that’s for damn sure. This is a case that will test your morals, but should it? I’ll leave that for you to think about while you read the story, watch some of the videos and be sure to check out the links.

On February 8th, 2009 31-year-old Aaron Vargas told his fiance that he was going for a walk but instead drove to the motor coach owned by 63-year-old former Fort Bragg businessman, Boy Scout leader and Big Brother Darrell McNeill and shot him once in the chest, telling the man he would never be able to hurt anyone again. He then waited the 20 minutes for McNeill to die, preventing his widow Liz from calling the police until that point, disassembled the antique pistol he had killed McNeill and left it on the counter.

After he was sure McNeill was dead he left, got back in his girlfriend’s car and drove to his parent’s home and waited for the police to show up.

Pretty straightforward huh? Guy kills an old man, he’s guilty.

Maybe it’s not so clear.

Maybe Aaron Vargas did the world and it’s children a favor, but does that give him the right to take a man’s life?

Back in the eighties the McNeill and Vargas families were neighbors. As I mentioned above, McNeill was involved in the Boy Scouts and Big Brother organizations and he was a family friend as well. Michael McNeill, Darrell’s son, and Aaron Vargas were also friends from childhood.

It pretty much started in 1989 when Aaron accompanied the McNeills on a camping trip. He was 11-years-old. During that trip his entire life changed after Darrell McNeill molested the 11-year-old boy and began what would be 20 years of hell for Vargas, ending with him taking the life of the man who stole his childhood.

The molestation continued as Vargas grew older as did the intimidation. The older he got the less the molestation happened but McNeill would continue to insinuate himself into Vargas’ life. Visits, phone calls, he had even recently started showing up at the house Vargas shared with his fiancé Selena Barnett, asking to see their 9-month-old daughter and offering to “babysit” the little girl.

A few days after the shooting Michael McNeill called Aaron and told him about the years of emotional and sexual abuse he had suffered because of his own father. Other men have also come forward to support Aaron since the shooting as well, detailing how they were also molested by the degenerate.

What about McNeill’s family and children? What do they say?

They show up at the Mendocino County Courthouse in Ukiah on a regular basis to support Aaron Vargas, even going so far as to join the protests outside the courthouse.

The prosecution against Aaron Vargas dismisses the molestation as irrelevant to the case and testimony about it as self-serving, but really, isn’t it exactly what this trial is about in the end?

James Specie was involved with McNeill in the eighties as well through the Big Brother program. From the time he was nine until he turned 14 McNeill molested him as well. His life took a sharp turn after that. He became involved with drugs and had a hard time dealing with life on life’s terms. In 2006 he confided that he had been molested by McNeill and four days later killed himself with a gun. McNeill had recently come back into his life and was harassing him according to his brother. He just couldn’t take it and didn’t know what else to do.

Todd Rowan, a carpenter from Fort Bragg, was relieved when he heard about McNeill, thankful that nobody was going to get hurt anymore.

John Clemons, the son of McNeill’s first wife, admits that from the time he was 11 until he was old enough to threaten McNeill he was also molested by McNeill. Several years after McNeill and Clemons’ mother divorced she found out about the sexual abuse and reported it to the Fort Bragg Police Department but was told that the statute of limitations for sexual abuse was up and that there was nothing they could do unless she could come up with more recent victims. She then went to McNeill’s home and found what has been termed “sexually explicit” photographs of McNeill with another boy from Fort Bragg. She took them to the police who then told her that the pictures weren’t enough to warrant an investigation unless they had testimony to back it up.

Had the Fort Bragg Police Department opened it’s eyes and actually attempted to perform some police work instead of closing ranks with a local businessman they might have prevented the death of the predator two decades later.

The support that Aaron Vargas is receiving from the community of Fort Bragg as well as online shows how much we despise the degenerates that prey on our children. I’ve befriended Aaron Vargas myself and while I certainly don’t condone murder or any other vigilante action, when the people we have hired to protect us are too worried about the “war on drugs” and illegal aliens to actually investigate a suspected pedophile (with fucking pictures no less!) what are we to do?

If there is one thing/person that people in this country hate more than anything else it is a child molester. In prison they are hated and have to be segregated from the rest of the population else they die a horrible death. We don’t allow them to live near our schools or places of play and they have a hard time getting jobs. A large number of them are homeless, banding together in camps which we then run off. They aren’t allowed to be online in some states and if they join Facebook or MySpace they can be jailed in those states. This unfortunately doesn’t address the problem of degenerates that haven’t yet been caught from trolling for new victims. I personally like the idea of a “common” community where we can find the bastards and keep an eye on them but nobody wants that community of child molesters in their neighborhood. Would you?

Aaron Vargas will stand trial for that murder in April. He is charged with 1st Degree Murder With a Gun, False Imprisonment and Dissuading a Witness. If convicted he’ll spend 50 years to life in prison with no possibility for parole. Considering he’s spent the last 20 years in a prison Darrell McNeill’s fashioning, perhaps treatment really is the right option. While the defense attorney for Aaron Vargas offered a plea agreement thus far it has been met with deaf ears from the local DA. It looks like a jury nullification may have to be the only way to go. Even with the fact that Vargas admits that he shot McNeill they can still return a Not Guilty verdict.

I had planned on writing on this story a bit more but have to get to the doctor this morning. I’ll be updating it over the next few months.

Updated 6/15/10 – Back in April Vargas took a plea deal and pleaded No Contest to Manslaughter, which carries a sentence of up to ten years. Vargas’ supporters are calling for probation though.

The sentencing hearing started yesterday and included testimony from some of his supporters. Today is supposed to be more testimony and then the judge will be imposing the sentence from the bench. Hopefully Vargas will get that probation.
