46-year-old Wendy Lynette Beardslee has been missing since October 29th when she was last seen at the Atlanta International Airport.
The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Wendy is 5’2″, 125lbs, brunette and has blue eyes. The APD is asking anyone who sees her to call 911.
John D. White
55-year-old John Douglas White, a pastor in Broomfield Township, Michigan is currently being held in the Isabella County jail after the brutal Halloween murder of a 24-year-old mother. White confessed to having beaten and strangled the woman in a sexual fantasy but said that he couldn’t remember if he had sex with her dead boy.
White, who was engaged to be married to Rebekah Jane Gay’s mother, struck Gay over the head with a mallet until she lost consciousness and then strangled her with a zip tie at her mobile home. He stuffed her body along with bloody towels and the mallet into a large trashbag, dumped the body in a ditch and then went back to help her son get dressed in his Halloween costume and dropped him off with the little boy’s father. White claims his necrophiliac fantasies were fueled by porn movies. I’ve got to tell you, I’ve enjoyed a bit of porn here and there but damn, it never fueled anything like that or anything else violent for that matter.
24-year-old Rebekah Gay
Up until he confessed to the heinous crime White arranged prayer chains for the “missing” Gay and acted the concerned pastor. He even let the other trailer park residents know that she was missing and that her car had been found at a bar.
Unfortunately this might have been avoided. It seems even more possible to me that White may have been a serial killer or at least had the makings of one somewhere inside him. Sadly the congregation of Christ Community Fellowship knew about his violent past when they hired him three years ago. One report I read said that he told them he had walked away from a woman who had overdosed. Now they are claiming to be “floored” by the accusations. One church member said White was “doing a lot of good and Satan did not want him doing good and Satan got to him.” Yeah.
Back in 1981 John D. White was convicted for choking and stabbing 17-year-old Theresa Etherton of Battle Creek, Michigan girl. At that time he was found guilty of Felony Assault with Intent to Murder. White was 22-years-old at that time. He stabbed the girl 15 times in the back and chest. The girl was his neighbor who he had invited over to see his slot-car racing setup in his basement. He served two years of his 5-10 year sentence. After appealing the conviction her was sentenced to two years of probation. According to an interview with Morris, White told her “This isn’t my first time. Just shut up. You’re making this more difficult than it has to be.” At one point, rocking her on the floor he asked “Well, are you dead yet?”
In 1995 he was sentenced to prison again, this time in the death of a 26-year-old Kalamazoo woman he was involved in. In 1994 26-year-old Vicky Sue Wall was involved with White, who was married and had children with his wife at that time. Her body was found six weeks after she went missing, decomposed so badly that they couldn’t determine the cause of death. He also never offered to explain how she had died…just pleading guilty. According to the trial documentation he told the court that Vicky had liked to be choked during sex and that he didn’t realize she was dead. He was sentenced to 18 years but ended up serving 12 and was released in 2007.
Right around the time he was release is when he must have started posting dating profiles on the Internet as well. I wonder if he met any women on them? The photo below are from here.

14-year-old Galilea Magana was Christmas shopping with her mother at an outlet mall in Jackson County, Georgia back on December 19th when she disappeared and hasn’t been seen since. She went to the bathroom and never came back.
According to her family Galilea wasn’t rebellious and they weren’t aware of any boyfriend that she might have, although friends of her’s from school say that she had been talking about an older man named “Lalo” online. Police believe that his name could be Eduardo Hernandez or Eduardo Jimenez. The family also stated in a news conference that she had placed a call to Mexico a couple of days prior and that she was crying and wanted to go home.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 706-367-8718.
Galilea is 14 years of age, Hispanic, 5’2″, 120lbs with black heair and brown eyes. She may be wearing glasses.
Updated 4:53pm – As I sit here typing this I came across a report that Galilea has contacted an aunt telling her that she wants to come home. I don’t have any other details at this time.
You all know I occasionally post missing kid reports particularly if it’s local to me. This girl goes to school in the community where my three restaurants are and a lot of people are worried. Since she’s probably a runaway no Levi’s Call will be issued.

Brittany Collins was last seen on 12/18/2011 in Villa Rica. She was wearing blue pajama pants, blue shirt, and a pink Aeropostale jacket. Brittany is 5’6, 150 lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes. Updated 12/21/11 – The local newspaper here, the Time-Georgian, finally has an article up about Brittany Collins. According to the newspaper it definitely seems to be a runaway case and that when she was discovered missing she had left a note behind for her family.
Updated 12/24/11 – Brittany was found safe at a local home earlier this week. She is being charged as an Unruly Juvenile and a Runaway after the Villa Rica PD spent 37 man-hours on the case searching for her.
I know I only usually post about missing kids on the rare occasion and they are usually local to me but I am making an exception in this case since it’s the relative of one of my Facebook friends.
15-year-old Courtney D’ann Sanchez has been missing from Altus, Oklahoma since February 17th. She was last seen by a friend at their high school.
Courtney’s mother told police that she and a friend went to a park across the street from the high school and her friend said Sanchez was upset and crying.
Courtney has a history of running away from home and may be in the company of a juvenile male. It’s possible that they are still in the Altus area.
She is White, 4’11”, 103lbs, Brown hair and eyes. Her ears and navel are pierced and she has a circular scar on her left shoulder. You can find the NCMEC profile here.

12-year-old Pricilla Ristick was last seen in the company of her uncle at the Little Caesars pizza in Lilburn, Georgia on Sunday night. She was helping him sell flowers. According to the several reports I have read her uncle, Joey Thompson, went inside to pick up a pizza around 5pm and when he came out the girl was gone. Supposedly there were witnesses who saw the girl get into a white van.
Pricilla and her mother are from out of state and are visiting relatives in Lilburn.
According to the family the mother received a call from Pricilla a couple of hours after she disappeared,
"She said, ‘Mom.’ And I asked her, ‘Where are you, Pricilla?’
‘I’m at this house with a lady.’
‘What’s her name?’
‘Nancy.’"
Julia said Pricilla was not able to describe where the house is located.
"I told her, ‘Why did you get in with her in the van?’ ‘Because she offered me money, she was going to cash a check’ and give her money to buy food."
Julia Ristick, the mother, reportedly told the girl to take the phone and get out of there as well as to call 911. She says that’s when someone hung up the phone.
Pricilla was last seen wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. She has red hair, is about 4’ tall and weighs 95 lbs. Although the police want to issue an Amber Alert the GBI won’t allow them to since she got into the car voluntarily. Something is obviously fucking wrong with our system and the GBI. Perhaps someone can put a pointy stick in the eye of whoever made that fucked up decision.
While the GBI has not issued an alert the NCMEC has been notified.
The Gwinnett County Police SVU is asking that anyone who has seen Pricilla call them at 770-513-5300.
Perhaps it’s just me being cynical but something is fucked up about this entire story from the Uncle selling flowers with the girl, to the white van as well as the supposed phone call. I can only hope this little girl is OK.
2/24/2011 – Surveillance video does show Pricilla getting into a white van but the news channels and police say that they do not show an abduction. I know that sounds pretty fucked up, at least it does to me. Just because she got into a van willingly DOES NOT MEAN SHE WAS NOT ABDUCTED. Plenty of child predators use different tricks to get kids to cooperate with them. Money, drugs, candy, etc…

2/25/2011 4:07 p.m. – Just came across a report at FOX that says Pricilla has been located and is safe. They are reporting that Pricilla was able to call her Uncle and told him she was in a building with many people and that they wouldn’t let her leave. The call was traced to a location in Las Vegas.
Pricilla told police that she took a bus to Las Vegas and had been there one or two days. She has been placed in the care of Child Services.
I don’t have any more details yet but will post them when I do.

21-year-old Marcelle ‘Marcy’ Elliot disappeared from Carrollton, Georgia on Thursday night. Marcy is a student at the University of West Georgia and is out on summer break right now but was visiting friends near the campus on Lovvorn Road.
Police have recovered Elliot’s car which was parked where she left it at The Loft, an apartment complex in Carrollton. A witness at the complex saw Elliot arrive, get out of the car and walk around the building. There has been no cell phone or debit card usage on her accounts since Thursday and while police say they don’t suspect foul play they aren’t ruling anything out.
How can they not suspect foul play after six days?
Police are going door to door and searching the woods and vacant homes near the apartment building Marcy was visiting.
I don’t do a ton of missing person stories but this was sent to me from a reader earlier this evening.
27-year-old Melanie “Mel Vega” Munoz of Houston, Texas has been missing since Friday June 4th. Melanie was last seen leaving Spring, Texas driving a 1998 dark blue Ford Taurus with Texas plates TGN-919.
Melanie is 5’5”, 130lbs, she is Hispanic with Brown eyes and auburn hair. Melanie has tattoos of a city skyline and Pegasus/night sky on her lower right arm and the queen of hearts on her upper left arm. She was last seen wearing a navy blue v-neck t-shirt and blue jeans.

Back on April 2nd I wrote about 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson. She left her house in Greeley, Colorado to head to a friend’s birthday party. She was never seen again. The FBI along with local police and residents searched for Kayleah to no avail. Unfortunately police have part of the answer now as her body has been found.
A workers checking a drainage ditch two days ago after heavy rains found Kayleah’s decomposing body lying in three feet of water less than a mile from her house.
Police aren’t releasing the cause of death but her 18-year-old boyfriend has been arrested for allegedly having sex with Kayleah and has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Child. Police are saying though that the arrest has nothing to do with her death.
Two sisters from North Dakota have been missing since last Friday and police are concerned with there whereabouts.
Kendra Lynn Enget and Kirsten Enget were both last seen at Williston High School last week. Kendra is 14, 5’3”, 135 lbs and has brown hair and brown eyes, She was last seen wearing a green Sioux hoodie with blue jeans. Her sister Kirsten is 16, 5’3”, 115lbs and was last seen wearing a pink shirt with blue jeans.
Police believe that the two ran away together and may have traveled to Tioga or New Town. Anyone with information on the two missing teens is asked to call the Williams County Sheriff’s Office at 577-7700
