Tuesday a woman took her six-year-old daughter with her to the gym where she works out. Hell, I can understand that. If I’m working late my wife will occasionally take the girls to the gym with her. They have a supervised play area for the kids that costs a couple of bucks to leave them there to play while you get your exercise thing on.

Anyway, as I mentioned, she left her child in the play room at the Midtown Sports and Fitness in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At some point during this time a staff member came in and with the help of 20-year-old Mexican citizen Juan Gonzalez, was able to fix a video game for the girl and then left her. Gonzalez returned a short while later with more sinister intentions.

Covering the little girl’s mouth so that nobody would hear her screams Gonzalez sexually assaulted her. He even admitted to hearing her say “Stop! Stop! Stop!” through his hand while he raped her. He then took a shower to try and wash off the evidence. After the assault the little girl came out of the play area crying and told a staff member what had happened.

When police questioned Gonzalez he said “I have a problem touching children”. YA THINK? Fucking douchebag asshole.

ICE will most likely get involved as the criminal case moves forward but judging from their past and current failures at keeping illegal aliens with criminal records out of the country and thus preventing violent crimes like this I don’t hold out for much with them.

Cortes-Meza was originally indicted on 31 charges back in the summer of 2008 which also prompted an ICE investigation as well. Along with Cortes-Meza his brother Raul as well as three other people were indicted.

Three of their victims testified against Cortes-Meza at the trial. When allowed to address the court, Cortes-Meza said he wanted to apologize to the women for lying to them and mistreating them, but he said his behavior was a result of the extreme poverty that he and the victims come from. Sounds like a crock of shit to me. He has also been ordered to pay $21,000 in restitution to one of his victims.

Once his sentence is complete he’ll be turned over to ICE and most likely deported where he’ll be free to hop back over the border and start breaking laws again since we can’t seem to enforce the ones we already have.

Police in West Linn Oregon were called yesterday by someone concerned about a suspicious car in a residential are. When they arrived police encountered 31-year-old Edgar Antonio Mendoza-Ortega in the process of trying to deliver a few grams of heroin.

They busted Mendoza-Ortega without incident, which is a good thing considering he had his 22-month-old daughter with him.

Mendoza-Ortega has been lodged in the Clackamas County Jail. He’s been charged with Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Child Neglect. The baby was initially taken into custody but later released to family members.

He is being held without bail due to an immigration hold. Mendoza-Ortega is an illegal alien who has already been deported from the United States once before.

I have some pretty strong views on violent crime and illegal aliens and think that if we were enforcing our existing laws quite a few illegal violent offenders never would have made it into the country or at the very least out of jail if they did. Unfortunately we treat illegal aliens differently than U.S. Citizens when crimes are committed. In many cases where we would spend time behind bars they just get deported where they can illegally enter the country again.

Yesterday morning border patrol agents near Tucson, Arizona arrested a man who was hanging out with a group of people in an area known for drugs and human smuggling. When they first questioned 29-year-old Adolfo Aparicio he claimed to be in the U.S. illegally hoping to get his scumbag ass deported. After they ran a fingerprint check. they discovered who he was. Who is Aparicio?

First off he is a United States Citizenand he also has warrants out for his arrest for the attempted murder of his wife and sister-in-law back on October 23rd.

In October Santa Ana police responded to a domestic violence call and spoke with the two women, who were injured, and then went looking for Aparicio at his home. Apparently Aparicio is a known gang banger. Went officers arrived at his home they spoke with someone who said that the man had left with a gun. A short time later they got another call about shots fired at the home where the initial call was made. The women had been shot at but luckily not hit.

Unfortunately douchebags like Aparicio are all to common in the southwest, both citizens and aliens. At least hammering down on the folks that shouldn’t be here in the first place would cull the list a little.
