Ryan Brunn, the douchebag who confessed to having killed seven-year-old Jorelys Rivera was found dead in his jail cell earlier today. He had hanged himself.

Brunn was found after 4pm this afternoon and an investigation is under way.

While it’s certainly not as good as a real death sentence it was damn sure faster.

Here’s yet another story of another piece of crap watching kids while the mom works, except this one has a nasty twist that’s even worse than normal.

Gina Guenther of Wright County, Missouri was at work on December 7th, her two oldest children at school. 22-year-old “TJ” Terry Joe Volner was watching the two youngest children, one still in a crib along with four-year-old Dusty Guenther. Volner called his mother at some point that Wednesday morning and told her he had killed Gina Guenther along with her boyfriend and her four children. He confirmed it by then sending her a picture of Dusty Guenther with his throat cut and a stick holding his chin up.

When police investigated the mother and three of her children were obviously OK but they found little Dusty Guenther dead in an ice-covered sewage pond next the to home in Jerktail, Missouri.

Volner sent even more pictures possibly to more people than his mother. The news reports I’ve read don’t quite match. One of the pictures show Dusty in the same position but with an adult’s left arm held up in front of the camera. There’s a tattoo on the arm that matches one Volner has (it’s his name in cursive, I guess in case he forgets) and two pictures of what appeared to be a small leg in ice covered water.

The local sheriff also thinks that Volner then stabbed himself in the stomach but they aren’t sure why. Volner was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. According to one of the articles Volner confessed to a state trooper that he killed Dusty on Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning using a pocket knife to stab the child in the next and then put Dusty in the pond.

Police say they also found love letters in the home from Volner to Guenther but he is apparently NOT her boyfriend, at least not at the time her son was murdered. Guenther’s boyfriend apparently spent the night earlier in the week and the prosecutor said that Volner’s motive was jealousy. Oh and here’s a surprise for you (not). Besides being a homeless felon who was exchanging babysitting for a place to stay Volner is apparently a juggalo as well.

Volner, who has a previous convictions for stealing animals, burglary, auto theft and something to do with “knowingly burning” was charged with Murder, Armed Criminal Action and Abandonment of a Corpse.  He was just released from prison in March. He’s currently lodged in the Wright County Jail on $1 million bond.

The local sheriff also said that Volner is related to four other people who were convicted of a murder in 2008. The group of Volners apparently beat and killed Dustin Skaggs, a man they thought was sleeping with one of their wives, then dumped the body in a rock quarry. Allegedly T.J. is the one who bailed out Benny Volner (the husband) after they were arrested.

Dwayne "Money" Pinestraw

Back in July of this year a drug deal gone bad in Pensacola, Florida ended with gunshots being fired into an apartment. Unfortunately those shots claimed the life of a 19-month-old child as well as injuring 23-year-old Vincent Dennis.

Police in Pensacola have been looking for 20-year-old Dwayne Cordell “Money” Pinestraw after he was identified as the shooter and up until this week haven’t had any luck. They spent many hours searching for the man, featuring him on Wanted posters as well as press releases. It started looking as if they would never be able to find him until America’s Most Wanted stepped in to help out.

Within 48 hours of being featured on the show this past weekend a viewer’s tip led U.S. Marshals to a house in Dallas, Texas where Pinestraw had been hiding. He has been arrested and lodged in the Dallas County Jail and it’s unknown when he’ll be extradited to Florida.

Pinestraw was wanted for Murder, Aggravated Battery and Firing a Missile into a Dwelling.

Kenneth Dewayne Coleman

Monday afternoon 23-year-old Patricia Brewer and 21-year-old Kenneth Dewayne Coleman walked into the emergency room at Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee carrying Patricia’s two sons, four-year-old Tyreke and three-year-old Donamiche. Both boys were bruised and bleeding and unfortunately the four-year-old was already dead.

According to Chattanooga police both children were whipped with a belt. Had to be a pretty extensive beating to leave one child bleeding and broken and the other one lifeless. Damn.

Kenneth Coleman was arrested Tuesday morning and Brewer was arrested and charged later that afternoon. Both of them are facing charges of Murder, Attempted Murder and two counts of Felony Child Abuse.

Angel Luis Santiago has been arrested and charged in the death of a five-month-old child he was babysitting in Ansonia, CT after he turned himself in to police. Law enforcement has been searching for Santiago seven months and up until he turned himself in they had obviously been unsuccessful in finding him.

Back in June Santiago was watching his girlfriend’s baby and allegedly shook the child so hard that it caused blunt-force trauma. The child, Kyle Robinson,  died the next day while in the hospital being treated for the injuries.

Santiago claims that he noticed the baby, who was lying on the couch, was unresponsive so he called 911 and tried to administer CPR.

Santiago has been charged with 1st-Degree Manslaughter, Risk of Injury to a Minor (ya think?) and Assault.

Nine days ago 7-year-old Jorelys Rivera was last seen around 5pm on a playground in the River Ridge apartment complex in Canton, GA where she lived with her mother, Jocelyn Rivera. Her body was found three days later, duct-tape covering her mouth and her hands and feet bound with zip ties. Her fragile body was found in a dumpster and had been compacted by what turned out to be the mechanical dumpster at their apartment complex. After an autopsy and investigation it was determined that Jorelys was kidnapped and held in an empty apartment and had been raped, beaten and then stabbed to death.

It didn’t take the GBI very long to start focusing on a suspect. After several tips about his weird behavior police started questioning 20-year-old Ryan Brunn, a maintenance man at River Ridge who also happens to live there. He had just moved into the complex after taking the job a month ago.

During questioning Brunn reportedly told police that he was at Wal-Mart at the time the little girl was murdered. Security video from the store doesn’t bear out his story.

Ryan has no criminal record up until now.

Brunn is currently being held in the Cherokee County Jail in isolation to protect him and was denied bond last Thursday. He is charged with Murder and Making False Statements to investigators.

This story should prove familiar to those of you who have been hanging out here or any other crime site. Boyfriend, “friend of the family”, dead child, etc… Seems like we finally turned the page on one frigging douchebag and here comes another assclown to join the ranks of the fucking child-murdering morons.

The so-called person I am referring to would be 22-year-old Steven Anthony Haire of Franklin, Georgia. Haire was arrested on February 25th in connection with the death of 5-month-old Zachary Freeman in Fayette County, Georgia.

According to the Fayette County Police Haire was a friend of the family and had been babysitting the child at the time of the “accident”.

On February 21st EMTs responded to a 911 report of a child not breathing along with Fayette County deputies. Emergency personnel administered CPR and then Zachary was transported to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where he was placed on life support. Zachary died on February 25th after being taken off of life support.

Haire was initially charged with Cruelty to Children based on the fact that he made statements to investigators that were inconsistent with the baby’s injuries. Those charges were upgraded this week to murder. Haire claims that he laid the boy down with a bottle for a nap and that the boy just stopped breathing. The Fayette Citizen has reported that Zachary died from being shaken.

Two other children living at the home at the time of the accident have been placed in the custody of DFACS.

Haire is currently lodged in the Fayette County Jail.

Of course it’s just hearsay but according to one comment over at WSB Radio Zachary’s mother hardly knew Steven Haire. That makes sense because at least according to what I have been able to find on his MySpace and Facebook profiles it looks like he just recently got together with his fiancé. Bad judgment if that really is the case.

Out of respect for the baby’s mother I won’t be posting links to any of the profiles. I think I may be acquainted with her parents from about 20 years ago anyway.

This is an update to a story I told you about two years ago and unfortunately a familiar one to many folks who stop in here. This stuff seems to stick to a script. Mother leaves child in the care of boyfriend while they go to work/get stoned/go shopping and boyfriend beats child to death. This one is no different.

While there has been much vehement denying of Barker’s guilt by those who have been defending him I never doubted that a jury of his peers would find him guilty and that is exactly what happened in Cass County, Missouri this week. His lawyer, as well as his friends and relatives, claim he could never do anything like this, but the wounds on his little body that match the bottle of whiskey he had been drinking the night before cry foul.

Javier Barker was found guilty of second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse. All that remains is his sentencing.

Just this past Tuesday 32-year-old Antoinette Newsome gave birth to a baby boy in Jackson County, Mississippi. Two hours and 20 minutes later the poor baby was dead.

According to police the Ocean Springs woman used crack cocaine as well as other drugs heavily right up until the baby was born. The drugs stopped the child’s heart from working. Newsome has been charged with manslaughter in the case.

Newsome was arrested last year for drug possession in Jackson County and also has an active warrant here in Georgia on an unrelated case. She was out on bond on the possession charge when she gave birth and that bond has now been revoked. She is in the Jackson County Jail and has a bond of $250,000 for the manslaughter charge.

This seems to be a pretty long and convoluted story with several different versions being reported by media outlets so I am going to try and keep it as brief as possible. It seems as though there are very few actual facts being released by the Houston Police Department as of right now and a ton of conjecture floating around the Internet.

12-year-old Jonathon Foster was reported missing to the Houston, Texas PD on the afternoon of Christmas Eve after she arrived home to find him missing. Unfortunately due to the fact that she lied to the police about leaving him home alone while she was at work it was three days before an Amber Alert was put out. Even so, it now seems as though it wouldn’t have matter anyway as the poor child was already dead by that evening.

According to several news stations Angela Davis, Jonathan’s mother, received a call at work from her son. He was told that she was busy and would call him back. Conflicting stories say that either a woman got on the phone or called back and told them it was an emergency. This was at some point prior to 1:45pm.

Angela drove home and reportedly called the home several times and eventually a woman with a raspy voice answered the phone and when Angela asked for her son she heard the woman ask “Is your mama’s name Angela” at which point she heard Jonathan answer “Yes, ma’am, my mama’s name is Angela” at which point the line went dead. When she arrived home around 2pm nobody was at home and the cordless phone was missing from the home as well. Houston PD are still investigating and won’t say whether or not the phone call actually took place.

Police were eventually called more than an hour later but were allegedly unhelpful, one family member claiming that police told them he was probably a runaway. Apparently Jonathan had lived with his Uncle in Missouri for several years due to his mother’s alleged drug problems. At the time that he disappeared Jonathan’s mother was separated from her husband David Davis and they were living in the apartment of a friend.

That brings us to the accused murderer. 44-year-old Mona Yvette Nelson has had quite a criminal career. Mostly petty stuff but there are a few violent crimes as well. Mona was introduced to Angela Davis as a friend of her roommate and she had also worked as a maintenance tech at the apartment complex where they lived. Some stories also report that David Davis, the boy’s step-father and also allegedly the last person to see Jonathan alive, had met her two weeks prior. Police are reporting Nelson as a family acquaintance.

Nelson has been placed by witnesses at the apartment at the time of Jonathan’s disappearance. She has also been caught on security video at the location where Jonathan’s badly burned body was recovered on December 28th. Police believe that Nelson took Jonathan to her apartment where she killed him, burned his body beyond recognition (he was identified through dental records) with a welding torch and then dumped him in a culvert in North Houston.

Nelson has been charged with Capital Murder and is lodged in the Houston Jail at least until a court appearance on Monday.

There are a lot more details and suppositions which I have left out of this and you are more than welcome to share them in the comments. I want to thank Queen of Night for sending me this story Friday morning and then patiently waiting for it to get posted.

A 911 call was placed in Bartlesville, Oklahoma early Thursday morning by 26-year-old Lindsey D. Fiddler. She told the operator that “My baby is dead”.

Police officers, EMTs and fire trucks all showed at the home a short time later. They found Fiddler’s 10-day-old baby, dead.

At one point during the 911 call a voice in the background could be heard saying “No, I didn’t kill your baby. You did”. Police are saying that Fiddler claimed on the 911 call that one of her family members had killed her child and the police report says that she is blaming her mother.

According to Tulsa World Fiddler’s mother claims the last time she saw the baby was when Fiddler left the room to feed her child. She returned without the baby. When her mother went looking for the infant she heard a loud clanging in the washing machine and found the baby packed inside with some clothing.

KJRH tells it slightly different so either the two news sites are getting two entirely different stories from the people they have interviewed or somebody is just pulling stories out of their ass for the hell of it. According to KJRH the “relative” (Fiddler’s mother) went to the house and found Fiddler asleep and had a hard time waking her. When she heard loud noises coming from the laundry room she went to check it out and found the child inside.

Police are still investigating and no charges have been filed as of yet but Fiddler was arrested, oh by the way, on a warrant for an outstanding failure to appear at a review hearing. She was arrested back on April 7th and charged with misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance. She pleaded guilty in August and received a one-year suspended sentence. The review hearing that she decided to skip was back on October 25th, although if the baby was ten days old it sounds like she might have been at the hospital giving birth at the time of the hearing.

They sure do grow ‘em ugly in Oklahoma.

A 20 year-old, Warren, MI,  woman is expected to be charged Wednesday in the death of her 8 month-old son, George Wilburn.

George was on life support for a day after he was taken  to the hospital Monday afternoon with severe injuries, including a fractured skull, brain hemorrhaging, human bite marks fractured ribs and numerous bruises.  Oh My Gawd… what in the fuck is wrong with this bitch?

George’s grandfather said, ” he had bite markes on his back, his left wrist was bruised and he had symmetrical marks on his neck as if someone as big as you or I choked him.”  Before baby George died his father George Wilburn Jr. sobbed as he described how hard it was to see his son on life support, “it hurts me to see my son like that, if I even touch his abdomen area he cries.”  I’m ready to cry right now just thinking about his little beaten and bruised body.. poor baby.  What makes people do this shit?

The baby’s mother was immediately taken into custody, where she confessed to causing the injuries to Baby George.  She faces murder charges, good let her ass rot in prison.  I wish we had the death penalty here in Michigan for cases just like this one.

Reportedly the mother and father shared custody of the baby.  George Jr. had contacted CPS several months ago after he took Baby George to the hospital after noticing bruises on the child’s body.  The CPS agent at the hospital told him to return the child to his mother while an investigation was launched.  Oh hell to the No!!  There is no way in hell I would agree to that.  But CPS did not work fast enough to save his son.  Well that’s just shocking, do they ever anymore? 

The grandfather’s question… “Why didn’t CPS protect him?  They made my son send him home.  I want justice.”  I do too George and I hope like hell you get it. 

I am appalled, I live in Michigan and it makes me sick to know that CPS advised him to take a clearly abused child back to abuser.  The father probably had no choice or he’d have been arrested for kidnapping.  Here you have a father attempting to protect his son and it is being “investigated” until he is killed by his abuser, keep up the good work CPS.   My prayers go out George Wilburn Sr. and Jr. for their loss.  I’m going to follow this one and see what happens.  I can say if they need some sort of justice, I’d be willing to offer my assistance and maybe choke her sorry ass!

This type of story is one of the hardest to write and read.  Because as a parent you wonder how could someone kill their children?  But here we have a woman who according to all reports was a single, hardworking, devoted and loving mother, and Oct. 6 she was driven to kill her children and then herself.  It is sad on so many levels.

According to reports Madison Hallet, 24, who killed her children before committing suicide Wed.  may have planned the shootings for weeks.  Madison first shot and killed her 6 yr. old daughter Natalya while she slept, then went into another room and shot her 18 mo. old son Drayden as he slept and turned the gun on herself.  Her body was found next to her son’s crib. 

Next to Natalya’s bed, police found 5 hand written letters.  The letters essentially said she was tired of life as it is and did not want her children to go through that.  Hallet’s father, who was in the home at the time and found the bodies, said his daughter also text messaged people before the killings.

The weapon a .40 caliber gun, was purchased Sept. 12 at Gander Mountain.  Madison had been taking depression medication, but did not give any indication she’d hurt her children.  She was an army reservist, set to be deployed in a month, a straight student in her 3rd. year of college. 

It is unclear if and may never be clear if the struggles of being a student, single mother or her pending deployment caused Madison to make her fateful decision to pull the trigger.

Part of my heart goes out to her, she seemed to love her children even in taking their lives, stating she did not want them to live through that, but at the sametime… to pull out a gun and kill them, I don’t know how she could.  What drove her to this?  We will never know, but there are 3 lives gone and a family mourning that will never understand.  Depression is a scary thing and when I read stories like this one it makes me understand that it can strike anyone.  I’m not going to attack her, I don’t agree with what she did, as I never could, but I am sad for her that she was so desperate she didn’t see there was another way out.

October 9, 2009, is a day that will haunt me forever.  That is the day that Sharon Hinojosa, so in need of the love of a man who did not want her children, made the choice to light the trailer they shared on fire and walked out leaving behind her 4 yr. old son Anthony and his 3 yr. old sister Alayna.

This story brought me to websites like this one and has forever changed me.  These babies lived about a mile from my home, they were so close in age to my children that I became somewhat obsessed with the case and what this monster was able to do to her own flesh and blood.

Sharon and her boyfriend Justin, had a child together 1 yr. old Aiden and Sharon had and 3 children from previous relationships, Erin (I believe she lives with her father) Anthony and Alayna.  According to reports Justin and Sharon had volatile relationship and there was alot of issues surrounding her children, and Justin was rumored to not want them.  How anyone could not love those beautiful faces is beyond me, but I guess he didn’t.  Sometime prior to the fire Justin had broken up with Sharon, moved out, met some one else and began evicting Sharon and the children from trailer (he owned the trailer).

On October 9, 2009 the neighbors of Sharon and the children in the trailer park, were awakened to Sharon beating on the door.  They then realized her trailer was on fire, these brave and caring neighbors asked her repeatedly where the children were in the house so that they could attempt to get them out.  She purposely gave them the wrong information.  The neighbor said he called to the children through the wrong window asking them to come to him, they were actually on the other side of the trailer.  He could hear them screaming… then silence.  Imagine a mother, and I use that term loosely, standing outside her home watching people trying to rescue her children and listening to their screams as they burned to death.  There are reports they found the children holding hands, when they recovered their little bodies.  Are you ready to FUCK her up… join the club, I have been aching for an opportunity since that day.  Well of course she did the usual things lied to cover her sorry ass, blaming a fire bomb and her ex-boyfriend Justin.  After being questioned by police Justin was released and Sharon confessed, then tried to kill herself by drinking rubbing alcohol.  This cowardly beast of a woman, kills her children in one of the most horrific ways imaginable and doesn’t have the balls to face the consequences.

I have followed the case as it has moved through the courts and she has been found competent to stand trial and a the judge ruled against her attempts to get the confession thrown out.  Her trial starts Oct. 17th at 9 am.  I am hoping I can follow it and update the story here, as I feel like it is therapy for me to write about here.

I go and see Anthony and Alayna, every holiday and I will go see them tonight to pay my respects to 2 angels taken too soon.  These two babies of no relationship to me have touched my heart in ways I would never have thought possible.  Please say a prayer for them tomorrow, keep them in your thoughts, and maybe throw them alittle kiss up to heaven.

Look at the beatiful little boy above, what could he do to deserve to be beaten to death… well he kept messing up his ABC.    Aiyden Davis, 2, was found strangled and beaten to death, his mother Theresa Davis, 27 and her “abusive” boyfriend Reginald Williams, 31, have now been charged in his death.  

Two year old Aiyden, who would have turned 3 this month was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, his little body covered in old and new bruises.  According to police Davis, left her son in the care of her boyfriend while she was at work.  Pamela Davis, Theresa’s aunt and Aiyden’s regualr care giver, called 3x to check on things and make sure Aiyden was ok, by the 2nd call at 6:45 p.m., Williams told her he had spanked Aiyden and put him in the corner for “messing up his ABCs”.  WTF, he’s 2 yrs. old… I would have went over there then and put my foot in his ass, then but that’s just me.  When she called 2 hours later at 8:45 p.m., Williams said, “I’m sorry, P., I’m so sorry” but gave no reason for the apology.  Pamela reached out to her niece at work, but she brushed off her concerns and said everything was fine.  Aiyden was breathing but “not responsive” at 9:50 p.m., when Williams called 911 asking for help, when EMS arrived Aiyden was throwing up.  

TIME LINE:  

6:45 PM – Aunt Pamela calls and Aiyden has been spanked and put in the corner.  

8:45 PM – Aunt Pamela calls again and Williams apologizes for reasons unknown at the time.  

9:50 PM – 911 is called for an unresponsive child.  

10:38 PM – Aiyden is pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital  

4 hours between the 2nd check call and the hosptial, that is all it took to end his life.  A baby, an angel, a gift from god,  gone in 4 hours time.  

According to Aunt Pamela, Aiyden had told her “Reggie hit me and mama.”  When she question Aiyden’s mother, she said “no, no, everything is fine.”  

Williams admitted in a video tapped and written confession that he struck and body slammed Aiyden until his OWN hands hurt.  What kind of evil monster must this poor excuse for a human being be?  How could he do that, I can barely even type this, I am sick about it.  This poor baby, was left with a man rumored to be violent and abusive, and he was punished so severly for NOT knowing his ABCs, beaten so intensely the abuser hurt himself…. imagine that, if you can stomach the image.  Williams told prosecutors he had beat the child various times between Sept. 13 and Fri. Sept. 24, the day he died.  I’m sure his mother had NO idea this was going on… yeah Fucking right!   

Williams was charged with murder and manslaughter, and being held without bond.  I hope he rots there, Fucking piece of shit!  Theresa Davis, is charged with assault, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child.  If she had a weapon in the house why not use it on this Fucker… she probably LOVED him…. blah blah blah.  She’s being held on $150,000 bond.  

Poor baby Aiyden, died from blunt force injuries to the head and torso and internal bleeding.  One article stated he had lacerated liver, possibly caused from a belt.  I had a lacerated liver from a car seatbelt the  pain was unbearable, nothing and I mean nothing took the pain away,  I can not imagine being 2 yrs. old and dealing with that, as an adult I cried and cried.  

I HATE these 2 assholes with a passion, no one will ever change my opinion of the mother.  It appears the Aunt cared more about him than his mother did.

30-year-old Matthew Perkins of Tullahoma, Tennessee has been arrested and charged with three counts of murder after the bodies of his 26-year-old girlfriend Stephanie Hershman and he two sons, 3 and 6, were found stuffed in plastic garbage bags in a closet at their home in Manchester, Tennessee.

Perkins, and Army recruiter and veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, allegedly told someone Wednesday night that he had killed the family and that person went to police.

So far police have not released a motive in the gruesome murders and Perkins is lodged in the Franklin County Jail on $6 million bond. According to an investigator in Manchester, which hosts the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival each summer, it was the worst crime scene he had seen in 30 years.

Perkins is currently separated from his wife of ten years. Police questioned her about Matthew on Thursday. They also have two children together as well. While Jennifer Perkins described Matthew as a good father you’ve got to wonder if she is breathing a sigh of relief for her own kids.

Perkins is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on September 28th.

Matthew Perkins is not the father of Hershman’s children. Their natural father is Jeremy Hershman, who is currently locked up on drug charges.

Brandon Rhode, the 31-year-old man convicted of murdering Steven Moss and his two children during a botched robbery in 1998, has received a second stay of execution due to the fact that the slimy piece of crap tried to kill himself a few hours before he was scheduled to be executed this past Tuesday.

The Supreme Court of Georgia granted a stay of execution for Rhode, which puts it off until next week. His execution has now been scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, September 27. The original order of execution stated that he was to be put to death between September 21st and the 28th.

Now ask ask yourself… how does someone accused of beating a child to death not only go free without bond, but also leave the state?

That is exactly the case of the Monster above Melissa Bazilia.  Her son Brett Dillion Jr., died of head trauma just short of his 2nd birthday.  The egg donor is one of two people charged with murder in his death.  But now not only has a Tucson judge set her free without bond pending trial, he gave her permission to leave the state.  WHAT THE HELL???

The 911 call came in on Brett, late in July 2009, the claim…. (yep, you guessed it) he fell in the bathtub and hit his head.  He died 2 days later, soon Tucson police decided his death was NOT an accident, but child abuse, and murder. 

Melissa Bazilia, 20 and her boyfriend Ryan Sullivan, 32, were both arrested at the time and have been in jail (where they should ROT) waiting for trial for more than a year.  Their bond a cool… half million!

This week Judge Howard Fell agreed to let the female monster of the pair out of jail until her trial starts in February 2011, no bond just a promise to live with her father in Wisconsin. 

For Brett Dillion Sr. this just adds insult to injury.  When asked what he thought of her situation, he had this to say, ” I feel she should feel the same things he’s feeling right now.  Her being in jail right now is basically the same situation.  He’s not able to live free in the world and I don’t think she should either.”  Right on Brett… I could not agree more!

Bazilia’s attorney explained that she asked for her release when the prosecutors asked to push back the trial.  The delay was due to Sullivan’s attorneys addition of a new witness, that the prosecution needed to research.  Blah, Blah, Blah…  The Public Defender said the delay led to so many scheduling conflicts the trial slipped from this month to February.  That would lead to another 6 months in jail for Bazilia.  Well Boo-Fucking-Hoo for her!  So the judge, against the prosecutions objections and concerns Bazilia may be a flight risk, ordered her released anyway.  Way to go judge!

Her attorney says while she is with her father in Wisconsin, she will be required to check in several times a week, but will have no ankle bracelet or home visits from Wisconsin authorities.  What a freakin Joke… is this for real?  Now the court, the community and especially Brett Dillion Sr., can only hope she will keep her word and volunitarily come back to Arizona to face the charges that could (and hopefully will) put her in prison for a long time.

The face you see staring back at you up there is one of pure evil.  Yolanda  Jones, 35, dropped off the dead body of a 5 yr. old boy she is accused of beating to death at Midwest Regional Center before going into labor with her sixth child.  She has been charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder and is custody at Lake County Jail with a bond of $3 million.

At 3:27 pm on Sept. 6, Jones -  the described “caregiver” of the child brought the 5 yr. old boy into the hospital.   He was pronounced dead on arrival and had been dead for “many hours” before arriving at the hospital.    As she dropped of the dead body of the child, she was in the late stages of her pregnancy and was going into contractions, a rescue squad took her to another hospital and she gave birth the same day.  The child identified as Tommy Davis III, was the son of Jones’ boyfriend and father of 3 of her six children, including the newborn.

Tommy was found with extensive and visible bruising from the top of his head to his knees, with recent bleeding from his nose and ears.  The autopsy revealed he died from blunt force trauma to the head and brain and the incident is classified as “non-accidental.”  Jones told the hospital that the child fell on a parking block while running in the parking lot of the Sheridan Motel,  where they had been living.  Surveillance video of the parking lot only showed footage of Jones leaving the motel holding the limp body of the boy.

The investigation was initally delayed because detectives could not immeditaley interview Jones due to her medical condition after delivering the baby.  when she was released from the hospital she told the detectives that the boy had wet his bed and she “snapped” beating Tommy over a 2 day period , hitting him with a belt and banging his head off the bathub and floor.  Detectives also interviewed older children involved with apparently rehearsed inital accounts of the incident. 

Illinois DCFS had a previous case invloving Jones, all 6 of her children are in the care of the state.

What kind of monster can repeatedly beat a child for an accident and wetting the bed is an accident.  Where was this little boys father while this was going on?  It is scary to think what she may have done with his little body had there not been other children in the room, she is clearly capable of pure evil.  I can not imagine repeatedly bashing a 5 yr. olds head into the floor or bathtub for wetting the bed.  I am sick over this I have a 3 yr. old potty training at this very moment and trust me I do not enjoy cleaning pee soaked panties, pants, socks and shoes day after day but she doesn’t do it on purpose, and as a civilized person I know that.  This woman does NOT deserve th title “mother” she has no idea what it means and she has 6 children… 6 children, what have they been through?

Rest in Peace, Tommy, you did not deserve what you got but you are safe with the angels now!  :  (

Tulsa Police have arrested 23 yr. old Janette Mickelboro in the homicide of her infant son Hunter, 3 mos.

Hunter was pronounced dead after his father discovered him in his bassinet, not breathing.  Janette told police she had tied a receiving blanket around his face to hold his pacifier in place (WTF) then put him in a “bouncy” seat” on the morning of August 20.  When she checked on the baby several hours later (WTF x2), she discovered him to be “cold and stiff.”   She then untied and removed the blanket, took him from the bouncy seat and placed him in his bassinet where his father found him later.  I supposed it never occured to her to:

 1. hold her son and help him with the pacifer.

2. check on her infant atleast once in a “several” hour period.

3. call 911 when she found him “cold and stiff.”

Janette has been arrested on first degree murder and is being held on bond of $250,000, according to the arrest report.

As a mother, I have to say WTF, who does this shit?  What in the hell made this woman think wrapping a receiving blanket around an infant’s head was the solution to keeping his pacifier in place and then “several” hours later she finds him deceased.  What the hell was she doing for those several hours, my goodness, I could barely put my kids down at that age, shit they can barely escape my hugs and kisses now at 3 and 6.

25-year-old Casey Allen Spradlin, a fireman in Coweta County Georgia, has been charged with Murder, Malice Murder, Cruelty to Children and Aggravated Battery in the death of two-year-old Brayden Robinson, the son of Spradlin’s fiancé.

Back on the 3rd of September EMTs responded to a 911 call to a home in Luthersville. Brayden was found unresponsive and flown to Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, where he died from his injuries. Spradlin, who was babysitting at the time, told police that he had been injured in a fall. Physician’s treating Brayden thought he was full of shit and it was determined that the poor child had died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.

Spradlin was arrested Tuesday and is currently lodged in the Meriwether County Jail.

WARNER ROBINS, GA – Sade Shamon King, 23, and William Thomas Davis III, 25, are charged with felony murder and cruelty to children in the death of their son D’Shawn Davis,2, according to the Houston County Sherriff .  The sheriff said “it really turned my stomach the way the child had been treated”, he called the news conferenceTuesday, to highlight the seriousness of the case, showing photographs of the emaciated body of the boy, under the condition the photos would not be duplicated or published.

D’Shawn weighed only 12 lbs. and 6 ozs. at the time of his death and his rectum showed signs of having been left in his own urine and feces.  The boy’s body has been decribed as not more than a skeleton, this poor baby my heart breaks for him.  The autospy ruled the cause of death malnutriton, bet they didn’t miss a meal though.. MONSTERS.

Davis called 911 on Saturday and reported the child was not breathing, arriving Houston Healthcare workers found the body of D’Shawn on the floor of the mother’s bedroom.  Why the parents, who are not married but are the biological parents, neglected the boy is not known yet.  Davis told authorities that he was away during the day often working 12 hr. shifts and had not noticed the boy deteriorating conditon.  Yeah right, I believe that would be impossible, a 2 yr old who barely weighs more than some newborns, try again daddy!

Mommy dearest had isolated the boy, relatives indicated it had been weeks since they had seen him and he had not received any medical care for 10 months prior to his death.  Every minute I spend typing this makes me want to freakin beat these 2 senseless,I am so ill right now.  A 5 yr. old female sibling, who only lived in the home for 6 weeks, is now staying with a grandmother.  No information has been released as to why she did not previously reside in the home. 

Nearly 3 yrs. ago Houston County Sheriff’s office investigated the death of 2 mo. old K’Ron Jarrell Davis, the son of the same couple.  Do we see a pattern here???  The infant died Oct. 25, 2007, the autopsy found that the baby died from “sudden unexplained infant death associated bed sharing”  the baby was sleeping with the mother.  The manner of death has been listed as “undetermined.”   Unless other information comes to light, investigators believe that death to be an accident.

The couple could face life in prison on the felony murder charge, and it was to early to determine whether the death penalty would be sought.

King and Davis showed NO emotion when arrested Monday night and both are being held without bond at the Houston County Jail.  Does this shock you?? They are cold hearted evil wastes of oxygen.

This poor baby we can only imagine what it was like for him to die this way, we all know how we feel just to be a little hungry, but to die of starvation and have the people who were supposed to care and love you be responsible.  He wasn’t old enough to even tell anyone what was happening even if the monster who calls herself his mother had let him see family members.  I need to go cry now!!

The P.O.S. up there aka “Kenneth Skinner” has a history of abuse on his girlfriend and children… well that abuse resulted in the death of his 7 month old son Triumph Skinner over the weekend.  The death was ruled as a homicide by the Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner based on a preliminary autopsy, but no results were released because the case remains under investigation.  Judge Kenneth Barlow stated Tuesday, “I find probable cause for first degree murder and the bond is set at NONE”  way to go Judge Barlow, I could kiss you!!!

Skinner 30, was arrested on 1 count of aggravated child abuse, but now faces a first-degree murder charge, during the hearing he stood in front of the judge with his hand over his face.  Funny he was man enough to beat his infant son but NOT man enough to look the judge in the face… FUCKING COWARD!

Triumph, was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where doctors discovered a perforated bowel, a severly fractured skull and numerous fractured ribs which were in various stages of healing.  Are you pissed yet? well I am not done!  The poor lil guy was rushed into surgery but died.

During an interview with the mother she intially said she was in the bathroom getting ready for work when the baby fell from his bed and hit his head on something.  She later changed her story and stated Skinner, her boyfriend and father of her 2 children – a 7 yr. old girl and Triumph was caring for the children while she was at work.

The problems started Saturday evening when the mother arrived home from work she stated Triumph was very “lethergic and moaning” and when she tried to feed him he threw up, and Skinner had told her, he “roughed” him up.  WAIT! WHAT… he roughed him up, and he was still standing there breathing after making that comment… not if it was my kid.  Oh and the baby was NOT taken to the hospital at that very momment, instead everyone went to bed and mom went to work at 7 am the next day.  At around 11am the P.O.S. called mom and told her she needed to come home immediately because he he had “hurt” the baby on accident,  really???  When she arrived home the baby was on the bed not breathing and Skinner had said he “slammed” the lil guys head against the couch, and that is an “accident” how???

P.O.S. told his 7 yr old daughter to tell the police he was not at home and she was asleep when lil Triumph was injured… COWARD, COWARD, COWARD, and oh yeah he also asked the girlfriend to lie as well, instead of knocking his freakin teeth out she tells him to leave and she will call 911… excuse me! WTF?  Mom’s excuse she was abused by him in the past and was afraid of him, apparently she had bruises on her face and neck.  Now I don’t know how anyone else feels but if I want to stay and take a beating from you then that’s my business but you hurt my kids and we have a real problem, I can not wrap my mind around that.  Here she has the opportunity to protect herself and her kids and she covers for him, I don’t understand it.

Skinner, of course, denied knowing his child was hurt and went on to say he came home drunk Friday and stepped on his son and “could” have caused the injuries.  He had NO idea how the baby’s skull was got fractured, but he regularly tosses the baby in the air and dropped him on accident once and that may have caused the skull fracture and rib fractures.

The family has been under DCF’s radar for some years, there was a report of child abuse in 2004.  In that case Skinner told deputies he has used a belt on his then 2 yr old daughter and plead guilty to child abuse, a 3rd degree felony.

The 7 yr old child has been placed in foster care.

This poor baby was failed in so many ways and never had a chance with monster like that for a father.  Why, Why, Why?

 Triumph’s mother Michelle Marie Ford has been arrested and charged with child neglect.  She is being held without bond in the Orange County Jail.

Their 7 yr. old daughter now identified as Brittany Ford, was interviewed by Florida DCF where she told them that she is afraid of “daddy, he “scares” her.  She also told them the Skinner will choke her baby brother until he “can’t breath” when he cries everyday.  Brittany told DCF, “Daddy doesn’t understand that Triumph is just a baby.”  Sounds like Brittany is smarter than both her parents combined and a very brave little girl.  Good Girl Brittany!

Back on June 7th Kenesha Neal and Chiquita Snipes (MySpace) of Zebulon, Georgia were arrested in connection with the death of a two-year-old child who they had physical custody of at the time. When the two were arrested they were each charged with Aggravated Assault and Cruelty to Children with more charges pending. Basically Pike County was waiting on the GBI crime lab to finish their investigation.

Those results have now been released and two-year-old Tyqwan Edge was killed as a result of blunt-force trauma. Neal and Snipes, both still in the Pike County Jail, have been charged with murder and their next court appearance will be a bond hearing on the murder charge.

23-year-old Whitney Wilson of Indiana was originally facing a child abuse charge related to the death of her daughter Cadence Davidson.

The baby suffered a skull fracture, fractured femur and broken ribs. Wilson claims she doesn’t know what happened to the baby.

Whitney and her daughter drove to Bessemer, Alabama Sunday and shortly after she arrived the baby was taken to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham where she died Monday morning after being taken off of life support.

Wilson denies harming the child but her two other children are now in protective custody. Wilson was charged with Murder on Monday.

29-year-old John Allen Rubio of Brownsville, Texas faced his second trial in the beheading slayings of his and Marie Camacho’s three children in 2003.

Rubio had been convicted once before but an appeals court overturned that conviction in 2007 after deciding that the mother had wrongly been allowed to testify at the trial. She was Rubio’s common-law wife at the time.

The three bodies were discovered back in March of 2003 and Rubio initially admitted to having killed the children, telling investigators he did it because they were possessed.

A jury in Hidalgo County deliberated for about three hours earlier today before returning a verdict of Guilty in the Capital Murder trial. Prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty against Rubio. Too bad beheading is considered cruel and unusual.

25-year-old John Curtis Davis of Opp, Alabama was recently arrested and confessed to killing his four-year-old nephew. Davis and his nephew both lived at the home of Davis’ mother at the time the incident happened and Davis allegedly held an air rifle to the chest of Curtis Alexander Ruede and shot him at point blank range, killing the child. Apparently the boy had dropped a small toy on his foot. WTF?

After shooting him he carried the boy into the kitchen and asked his brother to get some paper towels to clean up all the blood. He died on the way to the hospital

One thing that makes this murder even more sucky is the fact that Davis has a history of domestic violence and at the time of the child’s death he was a wanted man being protected by his family.

Davis has previously been convicted of three incidents of domestic violence which include choking his girlfriend and attacking his mother twice, once with a knife and another incident in which he hit her in the head.

Davis is being held without bond, charged with Murder.

A little over a week ago I told you about Gary DeToma, the Decatur man who murdered one of his young sons and tried to kill the other.

42-year-old DeToma was indicted on charges of Murder yesterday by a DeKalb County Grand Jury and the DA is going to be seeking the death penalty in the case.

Police visited the home of 41-year-old Gary DeToma, Sr. early Monday on a report that he hadn’t returned his two children to their mother after a weekend visit. Nobody answered the door when they knocked so the police left.

Later in the day a co-worker of DeToma paid a visit to the home, wondering why he hadn’t shown up for work on Monday. He also called police. Apparently that was finally enough for them and they entered the home. Officers found DeToma and both children, the five-year-old lying dead on the bed. What sucks (aside from the fact that a child has been brutally murdered) is that law enforcement had no legal grounds to enter the home. This may come into play later when it goes to trial.

An autopsy is scheduled for today and while police won’t release a cause of death at the current time they are saying that he was most likely suffocated and that DeToma may have tried to kill his younger son as well.

DeToma has been lodged without bond (until a hearing) on charges of Murder and Aggravated Assault. He is currently in the Dekalb County Jail. They have not yet posted a mug shot but I’ll get one online as soon as they do.

According to Gary’s MySpace he is originally from the Bronx.

Back in April 22-year-old Nichole Turner of Austin, Texas called 911 to report her boyfriend’s five-year-old son was missing. Julian Salazar Soliz’s body was found later that day in a grassy area in Wells Branch, about a mile from his home, beaten to death.

According to the medical examiner Julian had at least 59 bruises covering his body and bleeding on his brain. He died from blunt force trauma to the abdomen.

When questioned Turner admitted to beating Julian with a belt and said she may have hit him in the stomach and head. She also told detectives she had lost control. Turner had been taking care of Julian and his siblings while their father Julian Soliz was in jail for violating his probation.

Turner was finally arrested and charged last Friday. She was arrested for Injury to a Child and lodged in the Travis County Jail on $100,000 bond. She was released later that same night. Two other children in the home have been removed since the murder and placed with CPS.

I just came across this story earlier today and am not familiar with the circumstances but just on the face of things I’m still not clear why they didn’t at least charge her with manslaughter at the very least.

12-year-old Jay’Tavious Mahone spent a week at his sister Sabrina’s apartment in College Park, Georgia as part of his summer vacation. Sabrina Powell and her boyfriend Omar Pitts were supposed to be caring for Sabrina’s little brother last week and he would have returned home to his mother this past Thursday. Jay’Tavious will never be coming home now thanks to this pair of cretins.

Powell and Pitts were allegedly angry because Jay’Tavious was swearing and using sexual language. As punishment the two asshats forced the boy to stand outside holding a paint can from 10a.m. until noon last Wednesday. Keep in mind that for the last week or so it’s been in the frigging 90s down here. When I went to bed last night at 11 it was still 80 degrees so even at 10am standing in one place holding a paint can would be unbearable.

At some point during the “punishment” Powell left for work and left Jay’Tavious in the care of boyfriend Omar Pitts. I guess we all know where this is headed next.

A neighbor caught what happened next on their cell phone video. Why they allowed it to continue I have no fucking clue but they did call 911 3:40pm reporting the boy had collapsed from heat stroke. According to the police the video shows Pitts repeatedly kicking Mahone in the head after he collapsed from exhaustion in the heat. Mahone was taken to the hospital where he died from blunt force trauma.

Both Pitts and Powell have been arrested and charged with Homicide and Cruelty to Children. Jay’Tavious and Sabrina’s mother now is taking care of Sabrina’s three children.

Too bad we can’t force Pitts and Powell to hold paint cans in their outstretched arms in the summer heat while we beat them about the heads with 2x4s. Oh, and to the person who took the cell phone video but couldn’t be bothered to call the police, FUCK YOU, you are almost as bad as the two who perpetrated the vile death upon this child.

Right around this time last year 32-year-old Debra Janelle Jeter of Hillsboro, Texas and her husband were going through a divorce. The father had custody of their two girls, 12 and 13, but Jeter had been granted visitation rights by the court. The girls were excited about it, one of them posting on Facebook “I get to see my mom tomorrow! Yay!”

The visit didn’t go quite as planned unfortunately. On Friday, June 5th after picking the girls up Jeter drove them to an abandoned house and cut both of their throats, calling 911 shortly after. The unbelievable 911 call is below. Pretty damned shocking.

The 12-year-old girl Kelsey died in the horrendous attack while the other daughter was critically wounded.

Jeter pleaded guilty to Murder and Attempted Murder in a plea deal and this past Tuesday she was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Back in October of 2009 911 was called to the home of Carolyn Bellamy in Gresham, Oregon. When EMTs arrived at the home they found one-year-old Ariana Magathan with a head injury, supposedly after she fell off the bed. EMTs immediately called police because the massive injury just didn’t make sense. Ariana was taken to Emanuel Hospital and placed on life support where they attempted to save the little girl’s life. Unfortunately for the toddler they weren’t successful. She died four days later, on October 16th, one week before she would have been two.

Over the last few months the Major Crimes Team from Gresham has been investigating the case. The ME described the cause of death as violent blunt force trauma to the head, which was not at all consistent with falling out of bed,

Carolyn Bellamy, Ariana’s sole caretaker, has finally been charged with Murder and Manslaughter and has been lodged in the Multnomah County Jail with no bond.

Back on April 2nd I wrote about 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson. She left her house in Greeley, Colorado to head to a friend’s birthday party. She was never seen again. The FBI along with local police and residents searched for Kayleah to no avail. Unfortunately police have part of the answer now as her body has been found.

A workers checking a drainage ditch two days ago after heavy rains found Kayleah’s decomposing body lying in three feet of water less than a mile from her house.

Police aren’t releasing the cause of death but her 18-year-old boyfriend has been arrested for allegedly having sex with Kayleah and has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Child. Police are saying though that the arrest has nothing to do with her death.

34-year-old Michelle Marie Vasquez and her week-old daughter Madison Marie Florez had been staying with the Michelle’s parents since the baby had been born. The woman must have had one seriously freaky case of post-partum depression. She and the baby took off early last Thursday morning and by Friday morning the grandparents were getting pretty worried so they called 911. Michelle had left all the diapers and food at home that she would have needed for the baby.

By Friday evening they still had not seen Michelle but shortly after supper time the grandfather flagged down a deputy driving down Highway 98 and told them that Vasquez had called the grandmother and told them that they were in the woods near Redfish Cove. She told her mother on the phone “You do not want to see the baby right now because she is dead”

He went with deputies to find her and they found Vasquez along with her 8-day-old daughter, now who was dead. They found Madison wrapped in a blanket lying on the ground. She had been dead long enough to be cold to the touch.

Vasquez told the police that Madison had still be alive when she made the decision to “live on the streets” and while she wouldn’t discuss what had happened to the baby she told them “at one point she held Madison really tight to comfort her”. When one of the deputies asked Vasquez if she knew what would happen if she held a baby too tight she answered, “Die”.

According to one report Vasquez left her parent’s house because she felt like she didn’t belong there and didn’t want to be a burden. She also has a two-year-old child, I don’t know who has custody of the child currently.

Vasquez was arrested and charged with murder. She is being held without bond in the Santa Rosa County Jail.

A press release was issued earlier by the Gresham, Oregon Police Department,

On April 13, 2010 at 11:47 am Gresham Police & Fire were called to check on a 5-year old female unconscious and not breathing at 418 SE 169th. As Police arrived the little girl was being transported to Portland Adventist. A short time later it was learned that 5-year OLEANDER LABIER of Gresham was pronounced dead upon her arrival at the hospital. The East Metro Major Crimes Team and the Multi Agency Child Abuse Team were notified and an extensive investigation began. The investigation & autopsy has revealed that the cause of death was due to Homicidal Violence. Specific details are not being released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.

On April 16, 2010 at approximately 7:45 pm after hours of investigation and multiple interviews the father, 23-year old CHRISTOPHER A. ROSILLO of Gresham, was arrested for Murder in connection with the death of his daughter, OLEANDER. He will be lodged at MCDC and charged with one count of Murder. Two other children in the home have been removed and placed into protective custody. Both ROSILLO & QUINTERO will have a court appearance early next week. This is still an active and ongoing investigation and more arrests are still possible. I don’t have any more information right now but will update this post as it is released. I have found a couple of Facebook profiles for a couple by the same name from Stockton, California but haven’t yet confirmed it is them. Also will post mug shots as soon as I get them.

Updated 12:14 am – I have updated with a mug shot of Guadalupe Quintero, the father’s live-in girlfriend, who has also been arrested and charged with murder. She is lodged in the Multnomah County Jail with no bond. I think the father hasn’t finished processing into the jail, which is why I don’t yet have a mug shot.

Updated 12:40 am – Multnomah County has release Christopher Andrew Rosillo’s mug shot now. I’ve added it and will update the story more this weekend.

Updated 4/22/2010 – According to police Oleander Labier died as a direct result of what they are calling years of abuse that should have been reported at some point by other members of the family or neighbors, particularly since Quintero’s sister manages the apartment complex where they live. Of course they have come out of the woodwork since Oleander died saying that they would often see Oleander walking around the yard, looking fragile and on a feeding tube. From what I can gather Rosillo’s family has reported the abuse at least twice and that the abuse has been ongoing since 2007, when Oleander was two years old.

According to 9News Quintero was crowned Miss Clackamas County in 2006 and had a shot to represent Oregon in the Miss USA contest.

Both Rosillo and Quintero were arraigned on Monday on Murder-by-Abuse charges and have pleaded Not Guilty. Quintero is not Oleander’s mother but the other two children that were removed from the home belong to Quintero and Rosillo.

This is a sad story that’s a repeat of one we see quite often.

28-year-old Jason Padgett was babysitting two-year-old Aidan Batista Wednesday night of last week while the child’s mother, Whitney Flowers, was at work. After she left her penis decided he would smoke a little weed and relax because, you know, that’s the responsible thing to do when you are babysitting. NOT!

Padgett’s story is that the little boy allegedly fell off the toilet, hit his head on the floor and was bleeding and unconscious. Rather than seek medical attention he gave the kid a bath and put him to bed.

When the mother got home from work around 11:30 and saw Aidan was unresponsive she rushed him to the hospital. He was transferred to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children a short time later, where he died the next day.

In all actuality Padgett most likely beat the child, who died Thursday afternoon from a severe head injury. The autopsy revealed multiple brain hemorrhages consistent with being severely shaken or blunt force trauma. There is also evidence of possible sexual abuse as well according to Palm Bay detectives.

According to police a witness saw Padgett punch the boy in the face and the head during the three weeks before he died. They aren’t saying who the witness is or why they didn’t bother to call police or social services.

This pot-smoking child-murdering asshole is already a convicted felon. He has served time for Robbery, Grand Theft, Forgery and Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer. This time around he is charged with Domestic Violence, Child Neglect, Child Abuse, Aggravated Battery and drug charges as well as Murder and Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child.

47-year-old Jerry Lynn Guy of Marietta, Georgia was arrested earlier today by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department in connection with a hit-and-run which ended up killing a four-year-old boy.

Yesterday a mother and several children were getting off a bus on Austell Road when Jerry Guy hit the family and kept on going. The mother and a 5-year-old girl suffered what police are calling minor injuries while another child wasn’t hurt.

Guy has been charged with Hit and Run, Homicide by Vehicle, Duty to Report and Accident Resulting in Death or Injury and Cruelty to Children. He’s currently lodged in the Cobb County jail with no bond. I don’t know where the hell Guy was in such a rush to get to that he was oblivious to crushing a family but if this is the asshole that hit them he needs to be tied down on the expressway and allowed to die the same way he mercilessly killed a four-year-old.

Updated 4/14/10 – So get this, apparently Jerry L. Guy has done this before and served prison time back in the late nineties because of it.

Prior to the hit-and-run murder of four-year-old A.J. Newman this past Saturday Guy rear-ended a car in February ‘97 and drove away. A short while later on the same day this menace ran into another car injuring two people. He fled on foot.

Guy ended up pleading guilty to several charges and was sentenced to two years in prison and three on probation.

I came across this story over at Parents Behaving Badly and everyone involved so reeked of evil from the moment I started reading about them that I decided to look into it a little more.

Back on March 27th a 911 call came into North Newton, Kansas of a baby who was not breathing. 26-year-old Chad D. Carr had been babysitting 19-month-old Vincent Hill while his mother was at a baby shower in Wichita. Carr is the boyfriend of the mother, 20-year-old Katheryn Nycole Dale (MySpace). She had her other child, a six-week-old baby girl, with her at the time.

About half an hour after 911 was called Vincent was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Nycole claimed that the day before the 911 call Vincent had fallen down four or five carpeted stairs. According to the local Sheriff the boy’s injuries were not consistent with that type of call. For instance there were “terrible” cuts on the inside of Vincent’s mouth, his fingernails and toenails had been ripped out, his leg was twisted unnaturally due to a spiral fracture, he had a broken clavicle and one eye swollen shut. According to the autopsy he had been stabbed in the mouth with a fork and his injuries included bruises on his face and chin where he had been struck. The autopsy also showed that the torture had been going on for a while. Long enough for the mother to have known about it and shown some concern rather than worrying about keeping her penis.

Chad Carr is unemployed (didn’t see that one coming, didja? NOT) and he and Nycole had reportedly been together for four months prior to the brutal murder of her son. Carr also has two sons of his own, five and three, which he is supposed to be paying child support for.

Prosecutors say that not only did Nycole Dale know about the abuse but that she also took part in some of it. Along with Carr she has been arrested. Nycole has been charged with Aggravated Battery, Child Abuse and two counts of Endangering a Child. Carr has been charged with Aggravated Battery and Child Abuse.

Back on January 20th a neighbor made a call to a toll-free state child-abuse call center, telling them that she heard the man next door to her yelling at a child and the child screaming in a way that told her something was wrong. The report made it no further than the call center in Kansas. The Kansas Department of Social Services and local law enforcement never knew of her concerns. They (the call center) decided that no further action was warranted because it found no indication of physical or emotional harm. Another neighbor who was interviewed said that “You would hear profanities. You know, just screaming, at the top of his lungs, you could hear it next door.” Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton made this statement concerning the information that has finally been turned over to them from the call center:

The report does not indicate harm to the child. There is nothing to indicate that the child is being physically harmed by the father. No indication the father yelling at the child is impairing or endangering the child socially or intellectually, to the point that it is causing the child to deteriorate and not being to function on a daily basis. Not enough information to determine if the family has a history with the agency. This completes the initial assessment with no further action needed.

So get this. Not only might have this been avoided entirely but it’s possible that Chad Carr and his 26-year-old brother Christopher D. Carr might have been in jail had prosecutors decided to have them arrested earlier. For what, you ask? CHILD PORN. Both men have been charged with 16 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child Involving Pornography over child porn videos downloaded between October of 2008 and March of 2009. Harvey County has been investigating them for a while but decided to accelerate the investigation and go ahead and file the charges now in light of the murder. How fucking nice. The local district attorney says that even if he had been arrested and charged earlier that there is no guarantee that Carr wouldn’t have had access to Vincent. That may be true but now I guess we’ll never know, will we?

After a search warrant was executed at the house where Vincent died police seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well. No charges have been filed for that yet, hopefully they can pile on a few drug charges for these evil bastards.

Chad Carr is being held on $225,000 bond, his brother Christopher is being held on $75,000 bond and the mother, Nycole Dale has a bond of $50,000. Murder charges have still not been filed but they will most likely be forthcoming.

Vincent James Hill, 19 months, of North Newton, died Saturday (March 27, 2010). He was born Aug. 9, 2008, in Newton, to Richard Dean Hill and Katheryn Nycole Dale.

He was preceded in death by a great-great-grandfather, R.D. Hill; a great-great-grandmother, Marjorie McLure; and a great-grandfather, Roger W. Mourning.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Tarah Jayne Hill; grandparents Christopher Dale of California, Travis and Jody Girk of Newton, Randy Hill of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Gail and Jim Myers of Peabody; great-grandparents John and Jackie Dale of Washington, Carlos and Delores Girk of Peabody, Linda and Gary Hill of Wichita Falls, Jayne Mourning of Denton, Texas, Martha Van Nordstraud of Wichita, Opeal E. This is yet another sad story of a woman’s boyfriend killing her child. Last Friday 26-year-old Curtis Leon Copeland’s girlfriend was on the way to the hospital to deliver another baby so she left her two children, ages one and three, in the care of Copeland.

911 was called after three-year-old Jesse Fleming Fisher allegedly fell down a flight of stairs and in the process gained two black eyes, a broken pelvis, broken neck and bruises all over his body. That’s one fucking serious set of stairs!

Obviously since this story is her you know the outcome. According to the medical examiner the injuries were not consistent with a fall and after Copeland skipped out on taking a lie detector test the man, who is not the father of any of the children, was arrested for Murder and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle when he was caught visiting a relative in the hospital.

The lie detector test had been set up and Copeland agreed to take it to “clear” himself. After he didn’t bother to show up at the Sheriff’s Office they executed a search warrant at his home and learned he was visiting the relative.

I’ve written a couple of times about Leah Freeman’s disappearance and murder almost ten years ago. Leah’s mother has been trying very hard to get the case reopened and was finally successful this past fall. Apparently it has done some good.

There have been a lot of developments in law enforcement over the last ten years, particularly in the areas of DNA testing.

Law Enforcement in Coquille, Oregon has announced that they have new developments in the case and hopefully pretty soon an arrest or arrests will be made.

Back in February of 2007 23-month-old Nyia Miangel Page was reported missing by her parents early in the morning of Saturday the 3rd. Nyia’s mother called 911 (transcript below) and an Amber Alert was issued for the little girl. Over 70 police and other rescue personnel searched for Nyia in the 20-degree Pennsylvania weather.

Here’s the 911 call. I had the audio but decided not to use it for various technical reasons (like I am lazy):

Operator: “911, may I help you? (Pause) Hello?”
Darlene Robinson: “My daughter’s missing.”
Operator: “What is your name, ma’am?”
Darlene Robinson: “Darlene Robinson.”
Operator: “How old is she?”
Darlene Robinson: “She’s 1.”
Operator: “Black? White?”
Darlene Robinson: “She’s African-American.”
Operator: “When did you see her last?”
Darlene Robinson: “Last night around 12 when I put her to bed.”
Operator: “Any of your doors open as if she went outside?”
Darlene Robinson: “Don’t know, but the back door was unlocked, though.”

Ms. Robinson was crying during the call and she also goes on to describe what her daughter was wearing the last time she saw her.

While concerned people were frantically searching for Nyia, other investigators questioned the family at their home in Braddock, PA. Darlene Robinson, the mother, told them that she had last seen Nyia shortly after midnight when the toddler tried to climb into bed with her. She carried her daughter back into her own room. During the investigation police also talked with Nyia’s six-year-old brother who had “discovered” Nyia missing. He gave police some disturbing information and was taken to Mercy Hospital to be seen by specialists.

The little boy told doctors and investigators that 26-year-old William Lorenzo Page hit him with a belt quite often and that during the night prior to Nyia’s disappearance Page had climbed into bed with him, covering his mouth with his hand and molested him. When Page left the room Nyia followed him. At that point in time police named Page the main suspect in Nyia’s disappearance and he was charged with Simple and Indecent Assault of a Child, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Corruption of a Minor.

During questioning Page told police to check the woods near the railroad tracks. Nyia was found on Sunday around 3pm in an abandoned playground about ten minutes from her home. She was found facedown, wearing only a sweater and a diaper and curled in a fetal position.

Tiny handprints and footprints were found in the snow indicating that Nyia had wandered around trying to find her way out of the below freezing temperatures to get back to the warmth of her mother’s love. She finally collapsed and died of hypothermia, crying for her mommy.

After Nyia’s frozen body was found they interrogated Page yet again. This time he confessed. The monster told police he had gotten out of bed around three in the morning and found the little girl playing in the hallway. He told her to go to bed and she started to follow him downstairs. He repeated himself and Nyia started to scream. That’s when he hit the little girl causing her to fall and hit her head, knocking her unconscious.

Page told police that he went to the basement and got a towel and blanket, wiped her head off and carried her the few blocks to the railroad tracks. According to police Page waited about ten minutes listening to the little girl scream before he left her alone and headed home to bed. Police found blood-stained underwear, a towel and a blood-stained shirt in the basement of the home, an area that Page called his “dungeon” according to investigators.

Page was then charged with Murder and Sexual Assault. His trial was supposed to begin in May of 2008 but his attorney was granted a couple of continuances so that he could work on his defense. The trial finally took place this month. Page went to trial charged of with Homicide, Kidnapping, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Making False Reports and Corruption of Minors.

During the trial Page had family members present throughout. His mother ended up having some type of seizure and ended up being carried out on a stretcher probably from the shock of realizing that she had a fucking monster for a son.

When the photograph above of the footprints were shown to jurors Nyia’s family couldn’t handle it and rushed out of the courtroom.

The jury in Allegheny County, New York convicted William Page last Friday of first-degree murder, kidnapping, indecent sexual assault and filing a false police report after just a few hours of deliberation into the second day. They weren’t able to agree on a verdict on a separate indecent assault charge involving Nyia’s brother. During the trial Nyia’s mother said that she felt betrayed by Page, knowing that she herself was once a victim of a sexual predator. Her son, Nyia’s 9-year-old brother, told them that he missed her smile. “Her smile was sweet” the little boy said.

The penalty portion of the trial began Tuesday and it’s up to the jury to decide whether Page gets life in prison or the death penalty. They are scheduled to start deliberating on the punishment today. Personally I think the fucker should be strapped naked to some playground equipment and left to freeze and then be eaten by wild dogs when he thaws out in the spring.

Updated 6/24/10 – Page finally had his sentencing Tuesday. His lawyers had pleaded that he was mentally impaired due to autism and the jury was deadlocked on the death penalty, so the judge issued his sentence this week.

In addition to life in prison without parole Page also got consecutive sentences of 10-20 years for kidnapping, 10-20 years for aggravated sexual assault and 1-2 years for making a false report to police that his daughter had been abducted. During the sentencing Page rudely interrupted the judge and called him an idiot, which might have had something to do with the sentence.

27-year-old Edgard Anziani, originally from the Dominican Republic but living in Maine, was captured in Maryland on March 1st by the FBI after he spent a week on the run.

On February 23rd the 15-month-old son, Damien Lynn, of Anziani’s girlfriend Cheryl Metzger in Bangor, Maine allegedly fell down a set of steps if you believe Anziani. Police were called to the home on the 23rd and the little boy was taken to the Eastern Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy of the baby revealed that his injuries had to come at the hands on someone, not through a fall down some stairs. A murder warrant was issued for Anziani on February 26th, but by that time he had fled the state. The FBI put out a Federal Arrest Warrant, offering a $10,000 reward for information as to the scumbags whereabouts.

According to a police affidavit, Anziani told police that the baby had fallen down a flight of stairs. The baby’s 22-year-old mother had left the house at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to go to the hospital for abdominal pain, and was not at home when police and rescue crews arrived at her 55 Bald Mountain Drive apartment a few hours later.

Anziani met the ambulance in the driveway and handed over the child who "was blue and not breathing," the affidavit states.

Anziani, who was alone with the child, told police that the baby had awakened around 4:30 a.m. and was screaming, and after attempting to comfort him, he went to the downstairs kitchen to warm a bottle of milk.

"While in the kitchen, Anziani heard a thumping noise and found Damien collapsed on the middle landing of the stairway," the court document states.

Because he was unfamiliar with the area, he called his girlfriend’s mother, who called 911 at 6:58 a.m., the affidavit said.

Anziani had a court hearing a couple of days ago and his attorney asked the judge to postpone indefinitely a bail hearing. The request was granted and a Grand Jury will indict him later this month.

One has to wonder why girls would leave their children with someone they have known for such a short time. Metzger had two children, the oldest is living with his father here in Georgia.

20-year-old Ashley Nicole Cox of Corbin, Kentucky has been arrested and charged with murder after she allegedly gave birth and dumped her baby in a prison trash can.

Cox, who was not an inmate (at the time), was visiting an inmate at Roederer Correctional Complex and reportedly gave birth to a full-term baby in the restroom Sunday morning and left it in the bathroom trashcan. It was discovered when someone noticed blood on the floor from her giving birth.

According to Cox she miscarried while in the restroom but law enforcement says that’s just not true.

Cox is currently lodged in the Oldham County jail on charges of Murder as well as Concealing the Birth of an Infant. The cause of death is still pending the official autopsy report but preliminary reports show the baby was still alive when it was born. They aren’t sure who the father is.

Updated 3/17/10 – It’s been brought to my attention that Cox and her family deny that she even knew she was pregnant. According to the news report linked to by Trench her sister said “We were unaware of this pregnancy and we strongly believe that Ashley was unaware of it too. We are not only in shock but we are greiving this unexpected loss. Ashley will always be loved; by her friends, family and co-workers. A mother’s love, as well as a sister’s love, is unconditional“.

That’s all well and good until you get to the cause of death. Toilet tissue was jammed down the baby’s throat in order to suffocate her. The autopsy shows that the baby was alive and healthy when she was born.

Cox has been suspended from her job at a daycare in Corbin pending the results of the investigation. They tend to do that when you’ve been accused of murdering a child.

She pleaded not guilty to murder and was given bond of $2.5 million last Wednesday and she is supposed to have another court appearance for this afternoon at 1pm.

Ashley’s Old MySpace

Kristopher Posada was an infant who lived a very short life. Seven weeks to be exact, seven painful abusive weeks that he spent on this earth before he succumbed to death on February 13th at the hands of the one person in the world he should have been able to count on to protect him; his mother, 30-year-old Josela Posada.

A friend of Posada’s called 911 around 5am on February 13th after she had called her friend (Posada cannot speak English) to say that he daughter was cold and not breathing. She claimed to have put the baby to bed the night before and was shocked to what she woke to. Officers were summoned to the house and attempted to question Posada, a suspected illegal alien from El Salvador. All that they got out of Posada was that she tried to pin the brutal beating death on her teenage babysitter, who has been cleared of the crime since.

After a week they determined that Kristopher had died of “non-accidental, violent trauma” that was inflicted on him. The thing is, most of the deaths of babies that are through abuse seem to be the result of a one-time deal. Someone loses their temper and in a rage they baby is hurt, or worse. To actively beat a baby to death over seven weeks would take a monster.

Law enforcement has declined to really talk about his injuries much but they are saying that he died of multiple injuries. It has been released that the coroner has ruled that the cause of death is most likely shaken baby syndrome. Police have said that child also had burns over his body.

Josela Posada was arrested earlier in the week and charged with Murder and Child Abuse Causing Substantial Bodily Harm. She is currently lodged in the Washoe County Jail with no bond. He other child, a 15-month-old girl by a different father, has been removed and put in a foster home. ICE has also put a hold on Posada due to the fact that she is an illegal.

Yet another case of a scumbag killing a child while watching the kid for her mother. Jeffrey Malmberg of Grand Rapids, Michigan is the live-in boyfriend of Consuela Martinez. Martinez was out on February 22nd, presumably at work, while Malmberg was babysitting her 2-year-old daughter Jozlynn Martinez.

Jozlynn disappeared on the 22nd and has yet to be found. Malmberg originally claimed that the girl had fallen down the stairs and died and in his panic threw her in the garbage but he has since admitted under questioning that he pinned the toddler on the ground with his knee and exerted enough pressure to kill her. The rotten rat turd then dumped the little girl’s body in a dumpster near their home.

Malmberg has been charged with Second-Degree Murder, Tampering With Evidence and Larceny for stealing $2,800 from Martinez’s purse, cause nothing says “I love you” like killing your girlfriend’s daughter and then stealing your fucking money.

Last Friday 20-year-old Lawrence Oliver Jackson (lojakthejester on MySpace) was watching his girlfriend’s three-year-old son Connor Lenning while she was at work at the Red Lobster in Macon, Georgia when the man allegedly lost his temper and punched the toddler in the stomach, causing injuries which killed the boy later in the day. Who the fuck PUNCHES a child? Jackson needs to die from repeated punching by the other inmates in whatever shithole he ends up in.

At some point after lunch Jackson called his girlfriend Jessica Merritt at work to let her know that Connor had vomited but that he seemed OK. When Jessica picked her son up that afternoon he was holding his stomach and complaining that it hurt and he seemed very sleepy. Worried about her son who didn’t seem to be getting any better Merritt took the boy to the hospital in Forsyth around 7pm. He died a short time later due to “trauma to his midsection”.

Lawrence Jackson was arrested Wednesday in Monroe County and extradited to Jones County since the murder happened in Gray, Georgia at Jackson’s brother’s house. According to police Jackson admitted to having lost his temper, hitting the boy as a result.

Jackson is lodged in the Jones County Jail charged with Murder and Cruelty to Children.

Police in Redondo Beach, California have arrested the woman that they say dumped her baby in a trash bin over the weekend.

Trash collectors in Redondo Beach found the body of an infant about 9am Wednesday morning and according to police 24-year-old Jessie Lauren Canfield was arrested around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities don’t yet know if the 6-pound baby girl was still alive when she was discarded, but an autopsy is pending.

Canfield, who currently lives with her sister in Santa Barbara, went to a party in Redondo Beach over the weekend and had complained of cramping and discomfort during the party and then disappeared for several hours. The party was held at the location where the child’s body was found.

Police have determined that the girl gave birth after interviewing her, and then dumped the baby in the trash. They are saying that they don’t know if Canfield knew id she was pregnant. WTF? How do you not know you are pregnant unless you are just fucking huge and in bad shape in the first place?

Canfield graduated from Redondo Union High School in 2004. She has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

What’s really sad is that not only do the fruits and nuts in Los Angeles, California provide services where babies can be surrendered no questions asked, but there was a fire station just two blocks away from the party where she could have done so. Hell, you can even dial 211 out there to find the closest location. The Safe Surrender program in Los Angeles County lets parents give up their children with no fear of prosecution at any hospital and fire station. The babies are given medical treatment and then placed in a foster home. Hell, they even have a web site at babysafela.org

It makes me sick. There just seems to be no end lately to the stories about baby daddys killing their charges. Today’s fuckwit comes from Inverness, Florida. 21-year-old Spencer Tyson Weaver was arrested yesterday after he confessed to severely abusing his two-month-old son Tamarri Weaver, who died last week at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Last Sunday deputies and EMTs were called to Weaver’s house for an “unresponsive baby”. Tamarri was rushed to Citrus Memorial and then airlifted to All Children’s because he wasn’t breathing. He died two days later.

Initial autopsy results from Thursday listed blunt-force trauma as the cause of death. Weaver at least knew what he had done was horrific and left a voice mail on his baby mama’s phone that he was going to hurt himself. She let authorities know and they looked for him until yesterday. Should have given the fucker a gun and let him take care of the problem himself.

Since being taken into custody Weaver has admitted to the abuse. From the story by Kameel Stanley at the St. Pete Times,

Weaver told detectives he shook and choked the baby in January, the arrest affidavit said. He also said that on Feb. 14, he simultaneously squeezed the back of the infant’s neck and choked him. He then grabbed the child roughly, shook him, threw him onto a water bed and hit him on the head with an open hand, the affidavit said. When the baby became limp, he took it to the bathroom and gave it a bath. The child’s head struck the sink area. Weaver said when he found the baby pale and not breathing a short time later, he again slapped the child in the face.

Over at Spencer’s most recent of two MySpace profiles he lists his occupation as “PoT HEAD”. Gee, didn’t see that coming, did you? Of course most of the pot heads will tell you he must have been using something else because people that only smoke pot couldn’t have done something like this.

This is an inexplicably sad story. Yesterday 21-year-old Julia Murray called 911 in what seems to be a last-ditch effort to fix a horrible mistake. As she told the 911 operator she had drowned her two children and then shot herself.

By the time Glynn County, Georgia deputies and EMTs could get to the house the worst had happened. They found Murray lying, still clinging to life, near a gun in one room and the bodies of her two children, two-year-old Creighton and four-year-old Ansli, lying next to each other in their bedroom. Miraculously the boy, Creighton, was still alive. Julia and her daughter Ansli were pronounced dead at a hospital in Brunswick, Georgia.

Police aren’t yet releasing, if they even know, any kind of motive in the horrible murder-suicide. The two children were in custody of and lived with Murray’s grandparents and were killed in their home.
