An Amber Alert was issued last night shortly before 10:30p.m for 7-month-old Drake Kingston Boyd. He is described as 27 inches long and weighs 20 lbs. He was last seen wearing Toy Story pajamas but may also be wearing a blue pant/shirt set. Drake is pictured below.

The suspect, pictured at the top of the page, is David Jackson. David is 6’2” and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt. Unfortunately that just described at least half the black men in America but it’s all the description they have released so far. At least three women were also involved in the kidnapping but police haven’t released any of their information.

Drake was taken from his mother during a violent assault on Sunday afternoon and the mother’s car was stolen as well. It’s a silver ‘99 Dodge Intrepid with Tennessee tags 537ERB. Police also state that they may be in a Chryslers Sebring 4-door with Florida plates.

Jackson is a violent criminal with a lengthy rap sheet and may be headed to Georgia or Florida. If you see either Drake or David or know their whereabouts please call the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 423-798-1800 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Sunday afternoon 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson left her house in Greeley, Colorado to walk to a friend’s birthday party nearby. She never made it.

Police have been looking for the girl for the last five days and have expanded their search to include places that she hung out such as the library, mall and a music store. They have been knocking on doors and using dogs to search roads in the area and thus far have come up empty handed.

Around 60 police and FBI agents have been helping in the search for the sixth-grader. Her mother, April Wilson describes Kayleah as a “good kid”/

The police have also contacted Kayleah’s father, who lives in California. He isn’t considered a suspect or person of interest.

Kayleah is 5’1”, 145lbs and has brown hair and blue eyes. She has asthma and is believed to be carrying her inhaler.

There is a Facebook group. “Prayers for Kayleah Wilson’s Safe Return.”

There is an Amber Alert up for 14-year-old Janakaye Marie Lee from Council Bluffs, Iowa. Right now just the basics and I will update this shortly as I pick up more information.

Janakaye is Caucasian with black hair (I know the picture shows blondish, I guess she’s got it dyed), blue eyes, 5’9”, 130lbs.

The suspect in her abduction? is 19-year-old Steven Keith Hecker. Steven is white, 5’9”, 165lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He is most likely driving a black Mitsubishi Eclipse with Iowa tags 532-TLT

As I mentioned, I will add more information to the post as the evening progresses if I get any.

It doesn’t look as if Steven has logged into his MySpace since 2006. Janakaye has but there is no reason to list the link here currently. She hasn’t been on either of her profiles since December on one and it’s been a couple of years on the other. She also has herself listed as three years older so either she set up her MySpace without permission from her parents or they let her lie about her age.

2/23/10 – According to Pete Kotz what seems to have led to their disappearance is the fact that Steven had been dating Janakaye. Warrants were issued for his arrest last week on charges of Sexual Abuse, Distributing Obscene Material and Exploitation of a Minor.

When the two ran Monday he left a suicide note at his house. Police consider the man armed and dangerous but his father says that he doesn’t have any weapons and doesn’t believe Janakaye is in danger. They are believed to be in Illinois.

One thing that struck me was some of the commenters over there. One of them, a guy named George says,

There’s something somewhat romantic about them running away together. The suicide note was probably just so that they wouldn’t be chased or something. As long as he doesn’t actually kill her then I’m with him on this one.

WTF?

I left a nasty comment myself, don’t know if it will be published or not but just the fact that people think it’s OK for a 14-year-old girl to date an adult of any age shows me their depraved fucking mindset. Another one says,

Love will do crazy things to the mind! If they love each other (which they cleasrly do) let them be.

That’s just messed up.

2/26/10 – Apparently the two lovebirds were seen at Hecker’s grandparent’s home in Illinois but somehow they were tipped to the fact that police were on the way and took off. They are apparently engaged now.

Maryland State Police, on behalf of the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, have issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Hannah Lynn Harrigan.
Harrigan was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Friday with 32-year-old Peter Jyles Pelletier at 5655 Telegraph Road in Elkton.
Police describe Pelletier as a white male. He was operating a 1995 Ford Mustang, forest green in color, with Maryland registration 9EFL19. There is some damage to roof and several spots have silver and/or black tape
Harrigan is described as being a 3 feet tall, 42 pound, white female. The child was last seen wearing a pink coat, blue jeans, and a black "Hello Kitty" long sleeve shirt.
Police believe the child was abducted by the suspect. Pelletier is further described to be 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. The suspect may be wearing a dark coat and black hat. 
Police say do not take action if you spot the vehicle which could further endanger the child.

Law Enforcement in Oklahoma have issued an Amber Alert for a seven-year-old girl from Geronimo and are looking for her as well as the man they assume kidnapped her and murdered her mother.

Aja Daniell Johnson is seven-years-old, with brown hair and eyes. She is reportedly bipolar and also has a medical condition which requires regular attention. Aja, pronounced Asia, is about 4’ and 65 lbs.

The man named in the search is 46-year-old Lester Hobbs. He is 5’9”, 185 lbs, has brown hair and eyes, a receding hairline and many tattoos. While the photo above shows him with a goatee officials say that now he just has the mustache. Hobbs is a convicted felon and most likely is carrying the gun that he killed 37-year-old Tonya Hobbs, the mother of Aja. He is possibly headed toward Davenport, Oklahoma where he has family and may be driving a 1992 two-door white Toyota Paseo with OK license number 577-BPW with no hubcaps and plastic covering the rear passenger window.

Lester Hobbs allegedly beat Tonya Hobbs to death in his RV which was parked in Geronimo at some point last night. They were visiting Hobbs at his sister’s house in Geronimo. Update – While the ME’s office hasn’t determined the official cause of death the documents charging Hobbs with murder say that Tonya Hobbs suffered blunt force trauma to her body.

Besides somewhere in Oklahoma police also say that Hobbs may be headed to California, Oregon or Texas.

Lester Hobbs was officially charged with Murder on Tuesday. He and Aja Johnson have still not been found.

Apparently back in August Tonya Hobbs sought an order of protection against Lester Hobbs, writing in the petition that he had threatened her daughters and vowed to kill her if she ever left him. An emergency protective order was granted but dismissed two weeks later when she failed to show up for court.

Tonya Hobbs took both of her daughters to Geronimo on Saturday in an attempt to make up with Lester Hobbs, leaving her eldest daughter with relatives there in town.

Updated 3/30/10 – It’s a pretty sad end to this terrible tale. Police have located the bodies of Lester Hobbs and his step-daughter Aja Johnson deceased in a car in Norman, Oklahoma off of state highway 9.

Police say they have found what may be a suicide note in the car and it sounds like they died shortly after disappearing back in January. You can read more here and here.

Two-month-old Dezmond Cortez was abducted by his mother, who does not have custody of the child, around 11 p.m. Monday night. Both the child and the mother, Alithea Brown, are wards of the state of Montana and are believed to be traveling to Olympia, Washington.

She was last seen wearing a maroon University of Montana Grizzly sweatshirt and navy blue sweat pants. They are thought to be traveling in a light blue or silver car.

Updated 9:30 p.m. – I don’t have a link for the update but it’s been reported that both the mother and child have been located in Helena, Montana and the Amber Alert has been canceled.

Two boys saw the girl being abducted while walking to school by two Hispanic males 20-30 years of age wearing black or blue t-shirts and driving a white panel van.

The child is believed to be in danger and if you have seen anything related to the kidnapping they ask that you contact the Port St. Lucie Police Department at 772-871-5001

Update 5:00 p.m. – The Amber Alert was rescinded after it was discovered to be a hoax on the part of th two boys.

An active protection from abuse order was issued on June 19th from Pennsylvania which prohibits him from having any contact with his girlfriend or their three children. Obviously he didn’t let a piece of paper stop him when he entered the home of Zion’s Grandmother shortly after noon today and snatched his son.

The were last seen in a blue 1995 Buick Lasabre with a white top possibly with a tag number HFH0835 or a partial Pennsylvania plate number containing HDM87. They were last seen heading south on Rust Road in Lincoln, possibly heading toward Philadelphia. Anyone with information pertaining to the abduction or the whereabouts of the two are asked to contact police at Troop 4, 302-856-5850, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333

Neveah Amyah Buchanan has not been found yet but MyFoxDetroit reported last night that the Monroe police found a hunting knife with human blood on it in George Kennedy’s tackle box. It has been sent to the state crime lab for testing.

A reward in the search for Neveah has also been started. It’s now been 60 or so hours since Neveah was last seen. This is starting to not look very good, although there have been several ‘sightings‘. One of them has been (the Easton Town Center Mall) corroborated by a second person now. That doesn’t mean it was actually her but it does lend to a bit of hope in the search. The name Neveah is not as rare as one would think so it might be an entirely different little girl that was seen. The FBI is treating it as a serious lead though and attempting to follow up on it.

Last night at around 8:30 p.m. 24-year-old Jennifer Orise Buchanan (MySpace) reported her 5-year-old Nevaeh Buchanan missing to the Monroe, Michigan police. She told law enforcement that Nevaeh was playing with a friend of her’s in the apartment complex when her friend had to go inside for dinner. While she was eating Neviaeh continued to play with her scooter. When the mother went to get the scooter out of the parking lot there was no sign of little Nevaeh. At some point in there the mother must have notified Jennifer Buchanan, but I haven’t yet found out when or how she was notified.

Nevaeh Amyah Buchanan is 3′ 8″ tall, 45 pounds with brown hair and
brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red, white and blue shirt and
knee-length jeans with no shoes or socks.

The
Michigan State Police issued an Amber Alert last night for Buchanan but
as here are no witnesses they aren’t yet sure how or if she was
abducted. Police are questioning two people in the disappearance right
now. One of the persons of interest hasn’t been named but the other one
is Jennifer Buchanan’s boyfriend, who oh by the way is a registered sex
offender who shouldn’t have even been around there. George David
Kennedy has been a registered sex offender for the last seven years and
has several parole rules that he’s supposed to be following but
obviously isn’t.

Some of the rules he has to follow include:

1. Responsible adult present if with child 17 or under

2. No romantic relationship with person associated w/child *

3. Not purchase/possess/use sexually stimulating material

4. Sex offender treatment program as approved by agent (parole officer)

5. 1,000 feet from schools and child care centers without approval

6. 1,000 feet from parks, public pools, playgrounds, arcades

7. Must not have childs clothing, toys or games

8. Can’t possess or use photographic equipment
9. register as a sex offender

10. can’t own a computer or any other device capable of connecting to the Internet

11. Can’t use sex phone numbers or services

12. Has to stay away from sex entertainment bars and clubs (strip clubs, etc…)

13. Can’t move 
(relocate)
14. Can’t use or possess alcohol and can’t frequent any place that serves it.

15. Has to complete a substance abuse program

16. Can’t own a cell phone or pager

17. Can’t leave the state

These are in addition to the normal rules for a convicted felon.

According
to the reports I’ve read, which include interviews with Jennifer
Buchanan, she has been friends with Kennedy for several years and knew
he is a sex offender. As far as I am concerned that makes her guilty of
putting her child in a situtation she should not have been. He was
found guilty of Attempted Criminal Sexual Conduct – Third Degree
(Multiple Variables) and Attemped Children – Accosting for Immoral
Purposes. He is suppose to register until March of 2027. He has also
been jailed for 2nd Degree Home Invasion and 4th Degree Criminal Sexual
Conduct. One other thing that I find scary is that there are 5
registered sex offenders within half a mile of the Buchanan’s
apartment. Thats in addition to the fact that Jennifer Buchanan got out of prison in January, also for home invasion.

In
addition to the two that are in police custody Nevaeh Buchanan’s father
has also been ordered to take a polygraph test. He reportedly hasn’t
seen his daughter in three years.

A video over at Toledo News 11 says that Law Enforcement is currently or was recently searching a quarry in Monroe near the Motel 7 where Kennedy lives.

Anyone with information relating to this case has been asked to
call 911 or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department at 743-243-7070

Barrett Andrews from FOX Toledo is also updating his Twitter stream as the search goes along, although there hasn’t been anything from him in several hours.

According to police (as well as this map) there are over 30 44 sexual offenders living in the area, one right in the neighborhood. Police say that they have either questioned or will be questioning all of them. Police are also questioning the father and his girlfriend although they won’t say if they are suspects or not.

A 3-year-old boy was kidnapped by two gunmen who broke into his family’s home, tied up his mother and her five children, robbed the house and left with the child, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert late Sunday for 3-year-old Briant Rodriguez, about nine hours after he was taken from his San Bernardino home.
According to officials, two armed suspects entered the home at around 2:30 p.m. and tied up a mother and her five children.
The men, each carrying a handgun, burst through the front door of the home, tied up the family, then ransacked the house and stole money and property, Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Beavers said.

Dominick Wesley Arceneaux

Law Enforcement is questioning sex offenders withing a 50 mile area of Dominick’s home as well as people that frequent a neighborhood bar but thus far they have had very few leads in the disappearance. An Amber Alert was issued on February 10th, after Dominick was reported missing.

An Amber Alert has been activated for missing 5-year-old Jasmere Yeshae Wilkes of Decatur, Georgia at the request of the Decatur Police. If you have any information please contact the City of Decatur Police at 404-373-6551

Police are still searching for Giovanni and today targeted the search on the Pine Grove Cemetary using long poles to probe the underbrush as well as K-9 cadaver dogs, although the State Police said that the hunt continues as a search-and-rescue mission rather than a body recovery exercise. Right now they are trying to cover all of their bases and rule out areas where he might be.

Over the weekend searchers aided by the FBI were stopping cars and handing out flyers that described Giovanni. They are also using roadblocks in Lynn to hand them out as well and are hoping that the flyers will jog someone’s memory that might have seen him on Saturday, the last day that anyone saw him.

He may also be featured on America’s Most Wanted this week, although we won’t know about that until tomorrow.

Update – August 24th 2008

According to the Dreamin’s Demon a mop and a bottle of Lysol that were found in the apartment belonging to Ernesto Gonzalez has tested positive for the presence of blood. Law enforcement has also taken some other stuff as evidence from the home including a belt, trash bags, a couple of knives, a computer and a cell phone.

I mentioned below that Ernesto was claiming that he hadn’t seen Giovanni since the prior weekend but apparently he took the boy to a behavioral therapist on Saturday from 11AM until 12:30PM. The therapist did see father and son together at that time. Other than neighbors who claim to have seen them Saturday afternoon it’s the last corroborated sighting of Giovanni.

Bad Breeders has a post up which asks a question that got me in trouble a couple of years ago. The disappearance of Giovanni is amazingly like what’s going on with Caylee Anthony yet it’s not getting the same airtime from Greta, Nancy, FOX news or anyone else for that matter, and Trench Reynolds wants to know why. Actually I am pretty sure he, like me knows why (does that make any sense?) but is just putting the question out there.

It’s because most of the main stream media are racist, mainly due to the fact that the people that watch them 24 hours a day are as well. Giovanni is a handsome young kid and while I am pretty sure his father killed him he still deserves as much respect and attention as Caylee Anthony. So where the fuck is the media on this?

It’s called Missing White Woman Syndrome. I’ve mentioned it here before on occasion as far back as 2005 when Natalee Holloway went missing and I was blasted in my comments because I mentioned it. I was accused by black people of being a racist, accused by white people of being black, it was ridiculous. All in all there were about a hundred and forty four comments (some my own) and it really shows what a bunch of fucking racists people really are.

Here’s another one for ya’. This story has had 22 page views since I posted it yesterday morning. The Caylee Anthony posts have over 50,000 in the last month. Some of those will be repeats but it damn sure shows something, and it’s not anything good. Nobody cares about Giovanni and that sure as hell sucks.

Daisy Colon dropped her son, Giovanni Gonzalez, off with his father Ernesto Gonzalez for a supervised visit last weekend. That was on Friday afternoon, August 18th. On Sunday she went to pick him up and he wasn’t there. Gonzalez claims he ever saw him over the weekend and denies he was ever there, although the neighbors say that they saw both the father and son outside the apartment building on Saturday afternoon.

Ernesto is a native of Puerto Rico and is employed as a machine operator at Old Neighborhood Foods (a meat packing company?) in Lynn, Massachusetts. He is currently being held in the Essex County House of Corrections in Middleton charged with child endangerment. He is being extremely uncooperative and refusing to help police find his son.

Giovanni Gonzalez is described as a Hispanic male, weighs 40 pounds, is about 4-foot-2 and has a slight birthmark on his inner left ankle. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red shirt and “Spiderman” sandals. He was also holding a black “Transformers” backpack.

LYNN, Mass. — The Massachusetts State Police and Lynn Police issued an endangered child advisory for a missing 5-year-old boy on Monday.

Giovanni Gonzalez was last seen on Friday, August 15 at 4 p.m. in the area of 2 Brightwood Terrace in Lynn.

He weighs approximately 40 pounds and is 49 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue denim jeans, a red T-shirt, a silver braided chain and black Spiderman sandals.

He was carrying a black backpack that had the Transformers robot character on it, and which contained some on his clothes and toys. He has a faded skin pigmentation mark on the lower right side of his chest and a small scare above his eyebrow.

The child’s father, Ernesto Gonzalez, 36, was arrested Monday and charged with child endangerment in connection with the boy’s disappearance. Despite the arrest, Giovanni’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Lynn Police at 781-595-2000.

The vibe I am getting around the forums and web sites I frequent lean in one of two directions; one that he has sent his son to Puerto Rico and the other, well, let’s just say he works at a meat packing plant…The problem with the first assumption is that he doesn’t own a car, have many known friends and just doesn’t have a ton of resources to hide a missing child.

Police ARE still operating on the presumption that Giovanni is alive. They have searched all manner of businesses in the area as well as dumpsters, a nearby cemetary and a pond near the apartment as well. Investigators also say that Ernesto refuses to explain a cut on his hand and how he got it.

The FBI has also joined in the investigation now and are helping in the search.

Just came across this Amber Alert on Twitter and now it’s up at the Dreamin’ Demon.

The State of Michigan issued the Amber Alert Sunday after the suspect assaulted the child’s mother and abducted the boy in Warren. The suspect later phoned the child’s mother and told her she would never see him again. The child is considered to be in extreme danger.

Frank Deitsch 1 yrs., white male, 2′ 8″ tall, 25 with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue “Detroit Pistons” sleeveless t-shirt, and a diaper.

The suspect is Frank Deitsch, Jr. , 56 years old, 5′ 11″ tall, about 125 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black gym shoes and a dark colored t-shirt.

The suspect’s vehicle is a a gray 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass with an expired Michigan license plate of BLW6780.

Giovanni disappeared two weeks ago at some point after his mother Daisy Colon dropped him off for his father’s weekend visit in Lynn, MA. When she went to pick him up on Sunday Ernesto wouldn’t answer the door and it had to be broken down. He claimed that she never dropped Giovanni off and that he had not seen him although witnesses can place the two together on Saturday morning and afternoon.

Police found a bloody mop and bottle of cleaner with blood on it as well in his apartment and are worried that Gonzalez may have killed his five-year-old son.

While there hasn’t been a lot of media in this case that seems so much like the case of missing Caylee Anthony, it should get a bit of a boost this weekend when the story airs on America’s Most Wanted.

…actually it’s more of a lack of any kind of updates in this story. Hopefully within the next 48 hours after the story airs tonight we will get more information from some of the great folks that watch.

I haven’t heard much in the way of what is going on in the Gonzalez investigation and had to hunt just to find any news. Sucks how much other cases are in the news but this one is basically buried.

Via Trench Reynold’s Gonzalez posts (one of the few writing about hime) I came across this story over at the Boston Globe by Jonnelle Marte. Police are still assuming that Giovanni is alive and Thursday the 28th about 25 investigators from local police, FBI and the state police met to discuss their strategy and what they need to be doing.

“We are pursuing it that he is still alive,” Lynn Police Captain Mark O’Toole said during a news conference yesterday about Giovanni Gonzalez, who was reported missing Aug. 17 by his mother two days after she dropped him off at the home of his father, Ernesto L. Gonzalez Jr., 36. “We have nothing at this time to suggest otherwise.”

Investigators have been distributing a missing person flier that will be aired tomorrow on “America’s Most Wanted,” a move detectives hope will draw national attention to the case. The flier shows a picture of a smiling Giovanni beside a police photo of his father, a Puerto Rican native with a dark goatee.

I’m glad that the folks from America’s Most Wanted have taken an interest in it and am planning on watching. Don’t know if anything new will show up but you never know. I don’t have a copy of the flier and haven’t seen one on the net yet but once I get hold of a copy I will post it here.

“We don’t know whether he’s still in Lynn, whether he’s still in Massachusetts,” O’Toole said of the boy at yesterday’s news conference at police headquarters. “We don’t know who he might be with.”

O’Toole said police have no evidence to suggest the boy has been taken out of the country.

Detectives who searched the father’s apartment became alarmed when they found a blood-stained mop and blood on the cap of a cleaning product, both of which were tested. Steve O’Connell, a spokesman for Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett, maintained yesterday that he could not discuss the blood test results because the investigation in ongoing. Investigators received the results Wednesday.

Some of the other items taken from the apartment that I listed a couple of posts ago include the aforementioned mop and cleaner, a knife, toys and lighter fluid. Knife and lighter fluid? Damn.

Something else I wasn’t aware of was the fact that Daisy Colon and Ernesto Gonzalez apparently had a verbal agreement to keep on having scheduled visits until the middle of September when they were to return to court to work out custody and visitation rights. I wonder that the father was worried that he might lose visitation?

Gonzalez has basically refused to help police and won’t tell anyone what happened to his son. He is currently being held on a $500,000 cash bail on charges of child endangerment.

Police are planning a new search for Giovanni but won’t say when or where and they are also continuing to interview people and re-interviewing some others. They are hopeful that maybe they can get new information that was previously missed.

Clear Channel is donating one of it’s billboards to aid in the search. A photo of Giovanni and his father will appear on it. The idea was 16-year-old Richard Yearwood, who said he wanted to do something to help, so he called Clear Channel Communications and asked them.

Giovanni’s mother Daisy says that she is worried about him, and rightly so. She sleeps with his pillow, trying to keep him close and hoping he will come home.

Last week I mentioned that Clear Channel was donating space on a billboard to help further the search for Giovanni at the urging of a local teenager who just wanted to help. The billboard is up now and I’m told it’s huge.

About the only thing new I’ve heard in the case is that the police are investigating whether or not Ernesto Gonzalez may have had help from an accomplice. The article I linked to is the third or fourth mention in the last couple of days of the fact that he may have had help, which doesn’t make it true, but it is a recurring theme.
