54-year-old Edward John Phillips of Reddick, Florida was arrested a couple of hours ago by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly placed a camera in a bathroom closet in order to purportedly catch people on video as they used the bathroom.
The camera was placed in a bathroom closet mixed in with some shoes and stuff. Among other victims were a mother and her young child. The SD card in the camera had over 300 pictures on it, more than 250 of them people using the bathroom. Also among the photos were several images of Phillips setting up or adjusting the camera.
Phillips has been lodged in the Marion County Jail on $2,500 bond on charges of two counts of Video Voyeurism, once of which involved a child younger than 16.
