34-year-old James Jackson Brown, a corrections officer in Chatham County, Georgia, was arrested early yesterday morning on charges of child molestation, sexual battery and enticing a child for indecent purposes in the city of Rincon.
James Brown was lodged in the Effingham County jail and held without bond until a hearing.
Brown was hired by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office back in October 2009 and was still on probation as a new hire. He was terminated after his arrest yesterday.
