Sunday afternoon 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson left her house in Greeley, Colorado to walk to a friend’s birthday party nearby. She never made it.
Police have been looking for the girl for the last five days and have expanded their search to include places that she hung out such as the library, mall and a music store. They have been knocking on doors and using dogs to search roads in the area and thus far have come up empty handed.
Around 60 police and FBI agents have been helping in the search for the sixth-grader. Her mother, April Wilson describes Kayleah as a “good kid”/
The police have also contacted Kayleah’s father, who lives in California. He isn’t considered a suspect or person of interest.
Kayleah is 5’1”, 145lbs and has brown hair and blue eyes. She has asthma and is believed to be carrying her inhaler.
