John Samuel Gravely Taught More Than Wrestling

Back on February 24th 34-year-old John Samuel Gravely of Warner Robins, Georgia, a teacher at Northside High School in Warner Robins, was arrested and charged with Child Molestation and making False Statements for incidents that allegedly occurred earlier in the month.

According to the incident report Gravely, the head wrestling coach at NHS and football coach for Northside Middle School, fondled a 15-year-old female student in front of a male student and also asked him to join in.

Since his initial arrest two other students have come forward with separate allegations, one of which told police that in December of last year Gravely hugged her and kissed her neck in the process.

Gravely is currently out on $2,000 bond and on house arrest with an ankle monitor after a hearing earlier this week. He is forbidden from having any contact with the victim or anyone else under 16 for that matter.

The two False Statements charges Gravely is facing apparently are from incidents during questioning from February 5th and 11th during the initial investigation. The school initially made the report, which was sent to the Houston County DA’s Ofice who turned it over to the Houston County Sheriff.

Gravely has also given a letter of resignation, through his lawyer, effective on March 15th.

    OK, let's look at what all I said.

    1. Gravely was arrested on February 24th. If that's a lie you might want to talk to the Houston County Sheriff since that's where the information came from.

    2. The incident report said that Gravely allegedly fondled a student. While he may or may not have done the actual act the INCIDENT REPORT ALLEDGES HE DID SO. Obviously that paragraph isn't a lie either.

    3. Since he was arrested two other students came forward with allegations. Also reported by Houston County so if nobody came forward perhaps you should speak with them.

    4. Gravely is out on bond and can't have any contact. If they have rescinded his bond let me know and I'll update the post.

    5. He was also charged with making false statements. Another true sentence.

    6. Gravely resigned. Is this the part that isn't true?

    Well, damn. That's ALL SIX paragraphs and there is nothing in the story that isn't truthful. Whether Gravely actually committed the crimes or not has no real bearing on your accusations. Next time you want to accuse me of lying when I've just reported what law enforcement has released to the media you might want to do your fucking research. They do still teach you about research in high school, do they not? Obviously from your comment you skipped the grammar portion of the curriculum.

    Go somewhere else and play with kiddies your own age that give a shit.

    I'm still waiting as well but the fact is that the students probably know next to nothing except for rumors, which may or may not be even close to what he is charged with.

    I would be interested in hearing it as well. The last report I've been able to come up with is that Gravely was put on house arrest after his bond hearing and that he can't have contact with any children under 16 other than his own children. Also a total of three students have come forward to report his sexual misconduct. He was supposed to appear before a Grand Jury this past Tuesday but I don't yet know the results.

    I am more than happy to be wrong but I hate it when someone shows up and tells me I'm lying or wrong but doesn't bother to set me straight or point me in the direction of the supposed “truth”.
