April I can so relate to your haunting feelings when Sharon Hinojosa burned her children alive in their trailer here it happened less then a mile from where we live and they are buried in a cemetary that is on the route to/from my son's school. I still to this day stop and visit their grave and pray for them. My sister worked at the hospital they took her to after she drank rubbing alochol, so I had been privy to some more info than most on the case and I still can't get the sound of them in their last minutes out of my head. My husband would tell me not to watch the story on the news and I couldn't I had to control my urge to go up to the hospital and beat her down. I can't let it go… so I understand how it hurts you to know you were right there and were not able to prevent it.

if she gets visitors… i say you pay her a– a visit.

btw… sharon has not been tried yet… last i heard her attorney had her court day postponed due to pnuemonia… but I can promise you this…. i will follow it until the end & if she gets off…. well… she'll get to know me really well.

First, Thank you Captain for posting this. This has haunted me all night. Mostly because I had to drive by this house on my way home knowing what took place there. Never mind that the fucking cops had the entire bolck shut down to anyone that doesn't live there. I believe that this particular home was a rental – so it may have contained a demographic that is not the “norm” for this community!! There is a fucking police station 3 blocks from where this baby was dumped, a hospital 3 blocks from the house, and a church 1 block from the house. I would have gladly taken the baby with no questions asked. The whore could have knocked on my door. Okay – so now you know that I live in this neighborhood. You need to know that there is not a house on the block valued at under $1,000,000. This is not just some ghetto ass Los Angeles 'hood. This a an upper middle class (upper upper) neighbor blocks from the beach. BTW – Redondo Beach police department is walking distance from my work. I walk by there on my lunch break. I wonder if she's allowed visitors????
