The Idaho senate has passed 35-0 a law that shields young men from Rape charges when they have consensual sex with their 16 or 17-year-old girlfriends.

Overall I happen to agree with the law but I am very curious as to whether or not it puts a cap on the age of the “young men”. A dude of 26 sleeping with a 16-year-old is worlds apart from an 18-year-old guy dating a 17-year-old.

While it is still against the law, putting one of these guys in the same category as some of the other degenerates we write about here is a miscarriage of justice.
