25-year-old Dmarcus Antwain Ward of Minden, Louisiana was indicted last week and arrested for Sex Trafficking of Minors as well as Transporting Persons for the Purpose of Prostitution.
Ward has been accused of taking two young girls from Atlanta to Birmingham on several different occasions during 2008 and 2009 for the express purpose of prostituting them out.
The case against Ward is being investigated by the FBI. The trafficking charges carry a minimum sentence of life and the transportation charges have a minimum of ten years.
