Aaron could have reported the abuse to authorities, but started getting high, and ultimately became absorbed in a false reality. Nonetheless, McNeill should have never touched those little boy’s. McNeill probably turned the boy’s onto drugs.

The way I look at, it’s was not the boy’s fault at all. McNeill corrupted and ruined these kids lives.

No parent in their right mind or maybe im just thinking of people like myself that have actually experienced these things first hand, would ever wait until their child is actually hurt if they percieved danger. He knew the danger what this man was capable of first hand and when that man tried to solicit to “BABYSIT” and see his daughter he saw the danger and as a father he did what few would to protect her. Not to wait until that sick SOB put his hands on his daughter.

If his daughter was in immediate physical danger, he should have killed his ass at that second or called the police. I understand his feelings about a piece of shit who abused him making comments about his child, but regardless, she was not in immediate danger. As far as waiting until the child was actually hurt to do something, get real. No person, abused or not, wants that.

Unfortunately and as this post proves and first hand i can tell you the justice system fails and it fails to protect those children that need it most. There were soo many times i cried out for someone to help me, my childhood bestfriend, adult religious mentors, school counselor, religious counselor, mother, grandmother, police, and when i was old enough i spoke up for myself and tried to put him where he belongs in a jail cell to rot but my abuser he still walks free and everyday that he walks free torments me. if he ever came near me my family or kids or nephew i would take it into my own hands if i had to.

It is what it is, he murdered knowing he would have to pay willing to accept responsibility. I feel for him though, if it were up to me he should be pardoned because the justice system failed him first not to mention other children too, if it hadnt he wouldnt have had to take it into his own hands. 50 to life for murdering a SOB that didnt deserve to live, it isnt fair. He is a hero in my eyes.

I understand the psychological hold that his abuser held over him, and that he was “unable” to distance himself from this monster, but that doesn't excuse him from being held accountable for his own actions. If that was the case, wouldn't a not guilty by mental disease or defect plea be applicable?

Like I said, I'm kind of on the fence since I believe what he did was right, but according to society's law, which without would be chaos, he should be punished for what he did. I don't know, just ignore my post, I sound like a wishy-washy idiot.

As far as my own opinion, I agree with you as well about protecting those I love. I won't blink in order to protect my family or children and if that means killing some stupid sumbitch in order to do so then I could walk away from it with a clear conscience.
