I don’t generally post very often on religion as it relates to crime but occasionally I’ll come across something that just pisses me off and I feel like venting. Don’t get me wrong, Christianity isn’t much higher up the food chain than Islam as far as I am concerned, but you have to give it up for the fact that the Christians learned a couple years ago that honor killings and stoning unbelievers doesn’t work quite as well getting believers as lying and bribing them…but that’s an entirely different post for an entirely different site.

The reason I am mad today (as if I need a reason…) is because I came across this article about 16-year-old Medine Memi, who made the mistake of befriending some boys. Police found Medine buried in a six foot hole in a chicken pen outside of her house…40 days after she disappeared.

Medine’s father and grandfather have been arrested and charged with murder. During her father’s question he reportedly told them that the family was unhappy she had male friends…

They were unhappy she had male friends so they fucking killed her…

Of course why I would expect any different from members of a religion whose prophet was a murdering pedophile is beyond me…Of course honor killings aren’t singularities of Islam, but it certainly seems to be something that happens more often in the Middle East and Africa than quite a few other countries.
