i agree the papers must sell in order to do that. they must have an eye catching story that they can use. or it will not sell. only 3 things will catch a person’s eye to buy a newspaper #1 volince #2 a miner child and an adult #3 murder so if it does not have one of these 3 items in it then they got to get there story to be interesting to the public the more they write about it the more they sell.. you are 100 % right there are allways 2 sides to every storey but they do not ever want to hear the side of the accused. it is gulity before court. in everyones eyes that reads the story. it has happened to me before and it will happen to others. untill they see it happen to themself they will believe what they want. one thing i can say is i have been accused of alot of things and i allways have to watch my self because they are allways trying to get me on something i have however pleaded guilty to things i did not do. just because there was no other way to get it behind me. here’s a fact i was in court for a assult on myself while i was in there a state police officer had asked to talk to me outside the courtroom she had advised that the same person i was taking to court had used my name and licence # when they got pulled over.well as it turned out i pleaded guilty to the ticket before i met the state police.don’t get me wrong i am guilty of somethings back then. anyway without knowing i was not guilty. she said she would take care of it but i never heard from the state police again and to this day it still is on my record.. there has to be a better way for the accused to not be so drumatticlly talked about in the papers until they are completed in court and both sides are heard…

Their is always 2 sides to a story. Remember that! I for one would see these stories on the news & right away as im sure you all do think…what a sick pos I HATE people who hurt children in any way!! But i will say this..after a loved one of mine was accused of something similar, & seeing the story that was plastered all over the town which was not even 50% of the truth, i look at these articles different. It’s sad how people who know nothing about a situation take whatever they can & run with it, not caring what it does to that person or their family! I will say this..wesh 2 news & many other people did a great job of blowing my father up to look like a sex predator who lures & drugs boys than takes advantage of them but that was NOT the case. In this situation a 16 year old bisexual boy & his 22 year old boyfriend moved in to Stevens residence, he engaged in an intimate relationship with this man for several months & that boy was never drugged. The kids who were invited over were those of the victims friends & parties the victim threw. Point blank. Someone became aware of the relationship between this 16 & 57 year old man & turned him in. No 57 year old belongs with a 16 year old man or woman but in all reality that is the only wrong that took place. Drugging & luring & the things that were said are not the truth. However there is a background this originated from but no one cares enough to get the facts past there juicy headline!! The man who turned Steven in lied to the victim & said Steven was drugging him in my personal beliefs it was to get the “victim” to go up against Steven because he has not wanted to from the beginning im guessing bc he knows he consented to what went on, which was wrong on both ends so why should one be put behind bars for the rest of his life?? Stachatory maybe but not these bogus charges! There were some voyeurism charges that were true but actually had nothing to do with the alleged victim. I cant say why Steven made some of the choices he did but i can say the truth is far from these lies. People should really make sure a person is guilty of something before you put it out for the world to see!
