Kevin Ricks Arrested For Sex With a Student

Last week police in Manassas, Virginia received information that pointed toward 49-year-old Kevin Garfield Ricks, an English teacher at Osbourn High School. The allegations are that the man had sex with a 16-year-old former student.

According to police the sexual contact between the boy and Ricks took place back in December and January.

Ricks has been arrested and charged with Carnal Knowledge, Aggravated Sexual Battery and Indecent Liberties While In a Supervisory Position. He’s currently being held without bond.

    Innocent until found guilty in a court of law! The morality in publishing portraits of alleged criminals, held solely on the words of a single teenager, is very questionable indeed.

    …should the man be guilty of the crime he is accused of, which by no means is established, and should be so in a court of law. Sure, then it may well be the time spread his identity and picture. However, the need should not occur at all since he, in that case, will remain in jail for several years and never be allowed to teach again. What I argue is merely that sites like this are destroying lives of the innocent, and innocent family members, just to please mob like individuals like the woman asking me to “shut the hell up”. The solution to the problem with sex crimes in schools is not to post pictures of alleged sex criminals on the internet. The attitudes towards these matters make up part of the problem itself. By branding these people we force them into the dark instead of facing their problems and undergo treatment.

    Blah… Blah.. Blah… first this is not a court of law it is a blog and 2nd people like this do not get “fixed” with treatment and quite frankly, I would rather know about these people and not have them around my children, until the courts get around to convicting him, than chance that my daughter is the next girl he fancies. If you can live with than you go ahead with yourself but. I appreciate being informed of pervs like this. and by the way he is NOT innocent and this site does NOT detroy innocent people and not 1x have I ever seen a innocent family member attacked here. I think this site is GREAT… if you don't like it don't come on here and read it then… “little red X at the top right”

    No. It's nasty child molesters that are ruining their own lives and the lives of their families. It's men who think that it's okay to diddle our sons and daughters that ruin the lives of INNOCENT CHILDREN. It's fools like you that defend them. It's women like me and Deena (Hi Deena) that have no problem tell people like you to shut the fuck up. For the record – the mug shot is made public by the police department that took it. That is where the media obtained it. That is where the owner of this site got it. IF you are truly hot and bothered over this PEDO's mugshot being blasted all over the internet – I suggest you take it up with the county in which he is being held. They are the ones who took the picture and made it public.

    For the record, the only “treatment” that cures a pedophile is a bullet.
