Last spring 30-year-old Christina Lee Shipp from Elizabeth City, NC allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old boy when she spent the night at a friend’s house. It was reported to police in May and after a warrant for her arrest was released she hit the road and ran to South Carolina.
Shipp, who has been charged with Statutory Rape and Taking Indecent Liberties With a Minor was arrested in SC and has been extradited back to NC where she is lodged in the Albemarle District jail. She has a hearing on Monday.
Updated 6/13/10 – According to Williwaw in the comments, Shipp has a another hearing tomorrow. If we get any more information I’ll keep the post updated.
