Updated – Shawty Redd Jailed for Murder

Atlanta based rapper 28-year-old Demetrius Lee “Shawty Redd” Stewart has been arrested and lodged in the Henry County, Georgia Jail on murder charges after allegedly shooting to death Damon A. Martin in Stewart’s home in Hampton, Georgia.

Stewart, the author of garbage such as dont kiss dat bich and where da pussy at has already got several friends on his MySpace that are spreading the “free shawty redd” message. I was originally going to get into a rant about this kind of lifestyle and the douchbags it produces but I am not in a ranting mood today and will just leave it at that.

Stewart has a court hearing on January 12th.

Updated 1/13/2010 – Stewart had his bond hearing Tuesday and his initial bond has been set at $200,000. He is still in jail as of today.

      It’s that whole “street cred” thing. A lot of the rapper community just thinks you have to beat or kill someone if you are going to be considered a man.

      No doubt. There’s enough of them to go around. Now that the holidays are over I seem to be back to posting on a more regular basis. That should last at least until I get promoted and then I may have to cut back slightly. Won’t know until next week if that’s going to happen or not.
