Police were called to 22-year-old Nicholas Chambers’ home this past Sunday on a disturbance call and while there determined that there might be evidence of child porn. Cybercrime investigators were called to the home where they searched it and seized his computers. During the initial search they found at least six images of child porn.
In addition to finding the child pornography they also found drug paraphernalia of some type and confiscated that as well.
Chambers was arrested and charged with Pornography Involving Juveniles and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and lodged in the Bayou Dorcheat Jail. More charges may be pending after police complete a full examination of the computers.
