Dekalb County Cop Arrested For Rape

23-year-old Jeremy Tyrel Reynolds, a Dekalb County police officer for the last two years, has been arrested following an investigation of sexual misconduct that allegedly happened back in September 2009. Reynolds allegedly raped a prostitute in custody and also offered to release another woman if she exposed herself to him.

Reynolds has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Person in Custody, Aggravated Sodomy, Rape and Violation of Oath of Office. Reynolds was arrested when he showed up for work today and is on administrative leave pending his firing.

He was reportedly arrested earlier today but thus far he’s not been listed in the jail records.

    Actually he has been charged with several crimes including the Violation of the Oath by a Public Officer (2 counts), Aggravated Sodomy, Sexual Assault Against Persons in Custody and Rape. He was arrested on January 29th and released on February 11th. Now it is entirely possible the charges have been dropped but the information above is what is currently showing up on Dekalb County's Inmate Lookup at http://inmatelookup.co.dekalb.ga.us:8081/inmate….

    You are right, he very well may be innocent which is one of the reasons the post itself is pretty tame and just lists the facts that have been released to the media. If you have read anything else here you would understand that I am not very pleasant to people who have committed sex crimes if they are obviously guilty. Reynolds on the other hand has just been accused and until more evidence is released I won't go out on a limb and call him a douchebag. You on the other hand are apparently pretty fucking touchy about the subject as well as the fact that both of the prior comments came from either the same computer or two of the same on a home network that is using IP sharing. Whether it was you and your wife, you and your brother or you and your second fucking personality bothers me not in the least. April (who had no way of knowing whatsoever for sure that you were both in the same place/head) was simply pointing out the obvious in your comments. Pretty astute for someone that can't just look and see the IP address your comments were posted from.

    Either way, unless you have something to share here that makes sense other than “he would not have done that” why don't you take your ass somewhere else where they give a flying fuck about your opinion.

    Yeah he was always such a nice guy in school. I just do not see him doing something like that. The captain obvious guy is kinda an idiot, I understand hating on people who commit sex crimes they all need to burn in hell after having a baseball bat shoved up there ass. But when he does turn out to be innocent I bet he is going to feel like a complete douchebag

    No, actually I won't. Perhaps you weren't aware because you didn't take the time to actually read the post but there is nothing in the three short paragraphs I wrote that is conjecture. Everything is taken from media sources such as WSB TV and the Dekalb County Police Department. If he does happen to be innocent I would guess whoever accused him would feel like a douchebag while I will go on about my business, perhaps writing about THEM next time.
