It’s January. Cold and snowy. What do I think about when it’s so damned cold outside? Getting a tan is not at the top of my list but apparently Candy Ann Rock from Enfield, Connecticut and I don’t share the same priorities.
As a matter of fact it was so important to her to get in her tan time that she left her two small children, ages 3 and under 1, in a non-running car in a parking lot for just under 20 minutes while she went inside to get in the tanning bed. The local weather report showed that the wind chill at the time was a balmy 19 degrees.
Rock was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment and Risk of Injury to Children and bonded out of jail on $5,000
The children were not harmed and police in Enfield notified child welfare services.
