When Kenneth decided he had to go out to buy himself a new charger he knew he just couldn’t leave the dog to wander the house so he taped the dog’s mouth shut and then locked him in the bathroom because, well you know, just shutting him in the bathroom wouldn’t have shut the dog up.
As Kenneth Gookin left the house he could hear the puppy slamming his whole body up against the door in an attempt to get out as well as to most likely let it’s owner know he couldn’t breathe. An hour and a half later Gookin comes home and what do you know, the dog’s dead.
At that point Gookin showed how many brain cells he had left and called police to help him dispose of the dog’s body. He told them that he didn’t know how the dog died but concerned because there was dried blood around his mouth they had a necropsy done at a local animal clinic that determined the dog had died from asphyxiation. After interviewing Gookin longer he finally admitted to the deed and was arrested last Friday on a charge of Animal Cruelty.
Here’s a clue for Kenneth Gookin as well as for any would-be dog owners. Neat stuff that you may not know. Puppies are like children. They’ll get into anything you leave lying around until you have them trained not to. They get into it with their teeth since that’s what they have. Electrical cords, clothing, etc…don’t leave shit lying around if you don’t want it to get chewed up. Oh yeah, another thing. Dogs bark. A lot. Usually at the most inopportune moment imaginable. That’s what they do. If you don’t like barking things, don’t get one. Just like Kenneth Gookin, that’s a real no-brainer.
