Carl Spralling isn’t Doing it Right

30-Year-Old Carl Spralling was apparently hanging out behind the Shell station on Highway 85 in Riverdale, Georgia getting ready to rob the place earlier today when someone noiced him there. It’s not clear if Clayton County Deputies happened to notice him there or if someone called 911 because of the suspicious activity but when deputies approached Spralling to find out exactly what he was doing there Spralling fought with a deputy.

Spralling managed to get away briefly and while he was running away from police he dropped a handgun he had been hiding in his waistband and a ski mask. Police later found those items.

Spralling was captured and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Criminal Attempted Armed Robbery, Loitering and Obstruction of an Officer.

He has been lodged in the Clayton County Jail until a bond hearing.
