26-Year-Old Edis Kayalar, the man who allegedly threatened to release a photo of Cindy Crawford’s daughter bound and gagged in a chair and dressed provocatively. Kayalar had been charged with extortion in Los Angeles.
According to reports the picture was taken by the nanny (a friend of Kayalar’s) when the girl was seven during a purported game of “cops and robbers”. I don’t ever remember dressing little girls in sexy clothing during cops and robbers but what the hell do I know. I never had a nanny or tons of money either.
Kayalar turned himself in to police in Stuttgart, Germany earlier this week. He was supposed to have appeared before a judge yesterday to determine whether or not he would remain in custody. The U.S. Attorney General’s Office has not announced whether it would attempt to extradite the german. I would think not considering that the maximum sentence for extortion is two years.
