Thanks to the latest update of Hybrid, the theme engine I was using here at Sick Crimes, my comments and a couple of other plugins weren’t working properly. In order to get them working I’ve had to change to one of the basic WP themes.
No idea when or if I will get it fixed. I am too busy with work and other stuff right now. You’ll know when I do…
Newton High School Ex-Coach James Carter has been fired from his position after having been arrested for Enticing A Child For Indecent Purposes. Carter was lodged in the Newton County, Georgia jail and posted $2,950 bond.
Last month officials in Newton County were informed that James Carter had been sending inappropriate messages to a 15-year-old High School Student. The parent of the teen discovered the messages on an iPod and during the investigation police were able to recover the sexually charged messages from Carter’s cell phone.
Police in Gwinnett County, Georgia were called out to the Extended Stay Deluxe motel shortly before 5am this morning after a woman was pistol-whipped by her husband, 46-year-old former pro boxer Earnest Mahir Abdul-Mateen.
Abdul-Mateen was shot and lying in a hallway. He was able to tell police that his wife had shot him. Both of them were taken to the hospital where the man died.
In the police report it’s stated that Kia Jeffries shot her husband in self-defense. He had hit her on the face and head several times with a pistol, which she was able to wrest from him and use it.
Abdul-Mateen had warrants for his arrest from the Dunwoody PD for false imprisonment and battery which stemmed from another incident which involved his wife.
Normally any type of opinion or news posts that I put up I relegate to the news category which doesn’t show on the front page…or even at one of my other sites. This is important enough to me that I wanted to put it here.
One of the reasons that I post about different crimes and criminals is SHAME. Why shame? Because if you’ve left your children home alone to fend for themselves while you go out partying you should be ASHAMED. If you’ve let your biting dog chew up your child because you’re too fucking stupid to put the dog outside you should be ASHAMED. I guess maybe this is the online version of putting some asshole in the stocks and letting their neighbors throw rotten fruit at them.
Another reason I do this and probably one of the more important ones is that I feel like the public has the right to now. Should some scumbag move in to the house next door I believe I should be able to find the information easily so that I can take the proper steps to protect myself and my family.
Occasionally there will be some name calling and nasty comments by myself as well as others. I try to keep it to a minimum but I am just as susceptible as most other people to gossiping (hell, what is a blog if not a damned gossip factory.) That’s probably why I’ve taken a couple of very long hiatus’ from posting.
One thing I don’t understand is how people can get so invested in a subject that they’ll come to the equivalent of online blows, get their feelings butthurt (and hurt other people’s feelings as well) and just basically lose their shit over other people’s opinions. Hell, it doesn’t even have to be about crime. Politics and religion are two other subjects that immediately come to mind.
Here’s a clue for you folks that have nothing better to do with themselves than to peruse someone else’s every waking thought. GET A FUCKING LIFE. Look outside and as long as you aren’t in the middle of a hurricane go sit on the porch. Get yourself a cup of coffee and chat with your next-door neighbor. Don’t take things so fucking seriously…just the important issues. For example, I don’t really give a flying fuck which blogger released which video of Casey Anthony and how they lied about getting it. What was important about that case is that a little girl died and the person most likely responsible for her death walked away from it. All the rest of the drama that surrounded it was just that. Drama. Drama for people who have nothing better to do than bully other people who have nothing better to do than threaten to sue the first group.
Fuck all of you… and if I hurt your feelings call the whambulance. Oh by the way if you all go somewhere else I’ll still be posting here because I do this for myself anyway.
On October 8th 54-year-old Patricia Palmer Luddecke and her 50-year-old boyfriend Larry Martinez were left in charge of her daughter’s baby.
A little while later the mom received a call from Luddecke who told her that she was taking the child to the hospital because she had fallen off the bed. A little later on (after the hospital reported the crime) they ended up changing their story. Considering that doctors had to treat the child for a gash that ran from the corner of her left eye down to the right side of her mouth and has left permanent damage on her face I would guess so.
What they ended up telling police (after they initially lied to the baby’s mother and doctors) was that the dog was on the floor by the bed and the child was trying to climb onto the bed, fell onto the dog which then mauled her.
According to the Houston Chronicle police reviewed the 911 tape (Martinez placed the call) and could hear Luddecke in the background. Both of them were slurring their speech and seemed to be drunk when the baby was hurt. Shocker ain’t it?
The very same dog bit the child a month prior when she tried to play with it and a Houston Police Officer reported that it (the dog, not Luddecke) was aggressive and snarling when the officer approached.
46-year-old Wendy Lynette Beardslee has been missing since October 29th when she was last seen at the Atlanta International Airport.
The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Wendy is 5’2″, 125lbs, brunette and has blue eyes. The APD is asking anyone who sees her to call 911.
According to a press release from the Cornelius, Washington PD (yes I was too frigging lazy to write it myself last night):
On November 4, 2012 at about 11:01 AM, Officers of the Cornelius Police Department responded to report of a Welfare Check at 452 S. 9th Ave. in Cornelius in response to a report of a small child reporting “someone” was hurting their mother. While reroute, officers were further informed that the line had been disconnected and there were sounds of a possible assault in the background.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the home owner who advised she had been assaulted and her boyfriend had also poured gasoline on her, himself and around the house. She and her two children had escaped from the house. She and the children (the children were not harmed) were transported to the hospital.
The suspect in this case, Amaury Lopez, DOB/12-21-76, barricaded himself in the house. Due to the fire and explosive danger from the gasoline, surrounding houses were evacuated. Officers from the Cornelius, Hillsboro, and Forest Grove Police Departments as well as Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The Washington County Interagency Hostage Negotiation Team responded and conducted the negotiations with Lopez who finally surrendered to police at around 4:00 PM.
Lopez was taken into custody and transported to the hospital. Upon release from the hospital, He will be lodged in the Washington County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder, multiple Assault charges, Kidnapping and additional Domestic Violence charges.
Once the house was deemed safe for entry, due to the gasoline danger, police executed a search warrant for evidence. The investigation is on-going.
Holy crap
Police in Brevard County, Florida are on the lookout after 51-year-old Johnny Ray Morgan removed the GPS device that monitors him and took a powder.
Morgan was convicted of sexual battery on a child under 12 in 1995. He is 5’6″ tall, 172 lbs and has light green eyes, glasses, thinning salt and pepper hair and was last seen riding a blue mountain bike and wearing shorts, t-shirt and a black hat.
He removed his ankle bracelet sometime just before noon on Sunday and police say that they’ve searched the homeless camp he had been known to stay at but all of his belongings were gone.
John D. White
55-year-old John Douglas White, a pastor in Broomfield Township, Michigan is currently being held in the Isabella County jail after the brutal Halloween murder of a 24-year-old mother. White confessed to having beaten and strangled the woman in a sexual fantasy but said that he couldn’t remember if he had sex with her dead boy.
White, who was engaged to be married to Rebekah Jane Gay’s mother, struck Gay over the head with a mallet until she lost consciousness and then strangled her with a zip tie at her mobile home. He stuffed her body along with bloody towels and the mallet into a large trashbag, dumped the body in a ditch and then went back to help her son get dressed in his Halloween costume and dropped him off with the little boy’s father. White claims his necrophiliac fantasies were fueled by porn movies. I’ve got to tell you, I’ve enjoyed a bit of porn here and there but damn, it never fueled anything like that or anything else violent for that matter.
24-year-old Rebekah Gay
Up until he confessed to the heinous crime White arranged prayer chains for the “missing” Gay and acted the concerned pastor. He even let the other trailer park residents know that she was missing and that her car had been found at a bar.
Unfortunately this might have been avoided. It seems even more possible to me that White may have been a serial killer or at least had the makings of one somewhere inside him. Sadly the congregation of Christ Community Fellowship knew about his violent past when they hired him three years ago. One report I read said that he told them he had walked away from a woman who had overdosed. Now they are claiming to be “floored” by the accusations. One church member said White was “doing a lot of good and Satan did not want him doing good and Satan got to him.” Yeah.
Back in 1981 John D. White was convicted for choking and stabbing 17-year-old Theresa Etherton of Battle Creek, Michigan girl. At that time he was found guilty of Felony Assault with Intent to Murder. White was 22-years-old at that time. He stabbed the girl 15 times in the back and chest. The girl was his neighbor who he had invited over to see his slot-car racing setup in his basement. He served two years of his 5-10 year sentence. After appealing the conviction her was sentenced to two years of probation. According to an interview with Morris, White told her “This isn’t my first time. Just shut up. You’re making this more difficult than it has to be.” At one point, rocking her on the floor he asked “Well, are you dead yet?”
In 1995 he was sentenced to prison again, this time in the death of a 26-year-old Kalamazoo woman he was involved in. In 1994 26-year-old Vicky Sue Wall was involved with White, who was married and had children with his wife at that time. Her body was found six weeks after she went missing, decomposed so badly that they couldn’t determine the cause of death. He also never offered to explain how she had died…just pleading guilty. According to the trial documentation he told the court that Vicky had liked to be choked during sex and that he didn’t realize she was dead. He was sentenced to 18 years but ended up serving 12 and was released in 2007.
Right around the time he was release is when he must have started posting dating profiles on the Internet as well. I wonder if he met any women on them? The photo below are from here.

29-year-old Myron Irby
Myron Irby, (MySpace and Facebook) a resident of Duluth, Georgia, was arraigned last week on federal charges of sex trafficking.
Irby allegedly forced a 16-year-old girl to prostitute herself so that he could pay his bills. Police first came across Irby when he and the girl were at a traffic stop in Kennesaw back in June 2011. He claimed that the girl was a family member but officers discovered she was a runaway so was taken to a treatment facility.
In October she ran away from the facility and pretty soon online ads with her picture started popping up again.
Investigators set up a sting and when Irby arrived with her at the Sandy Springs motel he was arrested.
Irby is currently facing a maximum sentence of life in prison and a fine up to $250,000 if convicted.
